What's it like honestly to have been friends for so long? I don't think I've actually hung out with anybody in about 4 years outside of work. Every time I watch your videos It makes me feel good like I've got friends as corny as that may be. Keep doin what your doin. You guys get me through some hard days just goin out and doin ridiculous stuff. Y'all are amazing.

The reason Americans are afraid of Australian spiders, is because the bite from that tarantula is about as medically significant as a bee sting, while every other creature from AU will send you straight to a hospital at best or your grave at worst. Also I've lived in the USA all my life and seen a grand total of 3 tarantula that entire time. They're pretty rare if you're not way out in the middle of nowhere.
You don't want to touch tarantulas though. They have special hairs on their backs that make you itch like fiberglass insulation. Ask me how I know that 😅
We do have a lot of venomous stuff, and the snakes are pretty bad. It's true we have the most venomous spider in the world, the funnel web, and you do want to be careful of them, but people don't seem to realise that the last human death from a funnel web bite was about 40 years ago. Anti-venoms that we have now are pretty effective.

I live in utah and visit the southern part regularly. you will find a lot of AU looking thing like tarantulas, snakes, scorpions, and Gila monsters
