"Pull Daddy like a chariot" that line has stuck with me forever😂. The film I long forgot. Whenever I see him something that's the first thing that comes to mind. Great actor.
There should be a The Jesus spinoff from The Big Lebowski. There should be a White Goodman spinoff from Dodgeball, and there should be an Alex Tardio spinoff from What's the Worst That Could Happen.
2:38 “I’m not suggesting anything, you’re the one who keeps saying things!” Recently watched that Jordan Peterson interview and was reminded of this scene! Also, “ boy? Girl? Doesn’t matter!” Is a brilliant line!
I am laughing all the time when im watching william in this role he is great actor i love him when he is scary, angry, sexy, sweet and funny in all hes movies
@KurtsMyNightcrawler - He doesn't look that GAY, more like a feminime detective guy. Considering he doesn't mind that red-haired girl hitting on him lol
LMFAO !! no one has anything to say about danny devito ?? this movie was hilarious !! 2:33 "you asked for scenarios you're the one saying things" "WATCH IT..MIST..ER..DEETECTIVE !!" LMFAO that lil dude gets so pissed i love vito ahahah
Bill Fichtner is a good character actor. I've seen him in a lotta stuff over the years. He did awesome as Alex Mahone on Prison Break, which is still one of my favorite shows. My cousin saw him in the city about two years ago. She said he was getting ice cream with his son and he appreciated that somebody recognized him that day and told her it was nice to meet her.
haha Danny DeVitto kinda... : "Miss... ter... DETECTIVE!!!" and Kevin Caffery just like call him "Mr. Madame" or sthing kinda like that as i remember :))))))))
probably his best movie. he's not bad in blackhawk down or heat either. But he's hilarious here. I know the writing is great but he puts his ego down and makes it work
im stealing this video so I can upload the bit where he says "yes" since I think that is where the meme originated i will credit you and I tried to download the movie to clip it some other way
I thought the same thing - I watched this movie before playing Tekken 4 and ever knowing about Lee/Violet, but once I unlocked him, I immediately thought of Det. Tardio
@@vanessapierce231 I don't remember even leaving this comment. I often listen to the original audio book that this movie relates to & find it way better than the movie. There is a whole series of audio books about the thief. His name is Dortmunder. I highly recommend listening to them.
He should have been given a spin off movie. This is such a great performance.
"Pull Daddy like a chariot" that line has stuck with me forever😂. The film I long forgot. Whenever I see him something that's the first thing that comes to mind. Great actor.
''Pull daddy like a chariot''. Rofl. Best character ever.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol i just finished watching this movie
Easily my favorite character in the movie.
🎶sentimental reasons🎶 Tardio is so great
I crack up every time. This movie would’ve been lost to memory… if not for this brilliant character…
Absolutely, should have been a whole Tardio spinoff
"I think he got his finger up that dogs ass.."
There should be a The Jesus spinoff from The Big Lebowski. There should be a White Goodman spinoff from Dodgeball, and there should be an Alex Tardio spinoff from What's the Worst That Could Happen.
Love me some Tardio. That character is primed for his own movie. LOL! Fichtner is awesome.
"Watch it Miss..ter detective!" Why do I get some feeling that William Fichtner would be perfect as Willy Wonka?
Good point.
Oh my god
Det. Tardio should have been a spin off movie.
2:38 “I’m not suggesting anything, you’re the one who keeps saying things!”
Recently watched that Jordan Peterson interview and was reminded of this scene!
Also, “ boy? Girl? Doesn’t matter!” Is a brilliant line!
This has to be the funniest detective I’ve ever seen. The best
Him and Agent Paul Smecker from The Boondock Saints - also a gay man
Fichtner's fantastic! An awesome voice!
"For Sentimental Reasons" when he sings that, too funny.
I have a crazy crush on William Fichtner...He played this same type of Flamboyantly sarcastic character in "Drive Angry" with Nicolas Cage.
I cush too over him. Hahahaha.
His hair, his shoes, his outfit. Laugh to death. :D But he rockz.
The shoes say butch but the socks say hi how you doing 🤣
Just watched this for the first time, William Fitchner was f**ing hilarious in this role!
"you're the one that keeps saying things" lmaooo
William Fichtner he is one of the best i like he is acting he is a very good actor
thanks for the video bllphb
"Pull Daddy like a Chariot" LMAO!
Honest to God..the way this is cut..how creepy Fichtner is and smooth with the movements..it's a genius scene lol
I am laughing all the time when im watching william in this role he is great actor i love him when he is scary, angry, sexy, sweet and funny in all hes movies
I love how that hat on the statue disappears for a few seconds and then it's back a scene later lol. One of my favorite movies.
“No? Must be the contact lenses...Walkies!”
I think this is William Fichtners Best Role Playing Alex Tardio.
LMAO
"We have to get you a bran muffin, we're getting everyone bran muffins!" hahah
Walkies!
this guy would be perfect to play in a tv show where he plays as a fbi agent
Dang that’s a good idea
This character is classic. Tre Bizarre.
Ohh, he`s so cute!
Love him soo much *_* X)
One of the best characters played on screen, ever. We're getting everyone bran muffins.
William BODIED this role. Definitely should have had his own movie with this character.
Best character ever lol
@KurtsMyNightcrawler - He doesn't look that GAY, more like a feminime detective guy. Considering he doesn't mind that red-haired girl hitting on him lol
I totally agree, for this film, (which is not terrible) The role played by Fichtner was incredibly funny and well done. Detective Tardio. hella funny.
So this is Alex Mahone pre-Prison Break... and Fichtner's character in Crossing Lines is post-Prison Break... it's all making sense now... XD
Ah, yes, the Fichtner Cinematic Universe XD
Tardio -> Sanderson -> Mahone -> Underlay -> Hickman -> the Accountant
What an underrated performance by William Fichtner; arguably outperformed the listed stars of the movie.
Relax. Devito, Lawrence, Mac, & Leguizamo made the film what it was. Fichtner had some solid scenes
His shoes are awesome.
LMFAO !! no one has anything to say about danny devito ?? this movie was hilarious !! 2:33 "you asked for scenarios you're the one saying things"
"WATCH IT..MIST..ER..DEETECTIVE !!" LMFAO that lil dude gets so pissed i love vito ahahah

Wow.
I would've never known WF to exceptionally play this kind of role!! 🤣🤣🤣
More Boston Police Detectives should be this cool.
Hahahaha amen.
I love this guy! Boy,girl, doesn’t matter😁.
He would be perfect as Andy Warhol :O
Yes but for me its like ziggy stardust if more young
Interesting.
I didnt realize William Fintcher was in this movie, I always felt weird about my crush this character.
OMG!!! MAHONE!!! -rolling on the floor-
LMFAO why is he like that I have never seen anything like that
Dang... there's that hilarious line at the end: "You're under arrest for suspiscion insurance fraud." Something like that. Wish that was here.
William Fichtner resembles Christopher Walken here
I see it
I love this movie
OMG... O_O*... ...
...
I was giggling all the way through this vid... especially on 0:54-1:00... thanks for posting!
In this movie, William Fichtner investigates Danny Devito and in the movie Drowning Mona, it's Danny Devito as the cop investigating William Fichtner
Bran Muffins LOL
(at the end)
We NEED William Fichtner to cameo in It's Always Sunny.
He's been in two DeVito movies, it can happen.
00:55 Oh Dear lord someone get a camera- maybe he'll strip if we're lucky XD
Hahahahaha.
=)) lmao....william cracks me up.......=))
Now look who's the detective lol.
Bill Fichtner is the shizz :P
We are getting everybody brand muffins
Good, good.
That's why I get the big bucks.
0:56 lmao
@SwedeIndeed2 LOL. Yes that was hilarious. LOL!
William fichtner the Gene Hackman of our era...maybe little better. Can play many different roles.
😂😂😂😂 Looks like Mahone has been tugging on some pockets if you know what I mean. *in T-bag voice* #PrisonBreak #TeamAlexMahone
It looks like he lost weight for this role. He usually looks more built... wow his dedication
Also he wore shapewear to slim himself even further.
I wish they would of made the dogs keep farting while walking
3:53 lolz
0:23 HAHAHA
I need the name of that song that plays whenever he's around
Never seen a flamboyant detective in my life
It's just a movie y an ultra dramatic part. Why are you watching this video clip anyways.
He's suppose to be "ploy-amourous". Meaning, he dates women and men. If anyone watches Million Dollar Lisitngs, Det. Tardio reminds me of Madison.
That confused me first time watching the movie. Gloria was by his side at the end, but Tardio was blatantly hitting on his coworker
He reminds me of kaon in transformers more than meets the eye
Damn
In this movie, William Fichtner did the gayest impression in all of recorded history...lol
Tardio wasn’t gay. He was just fabulous.
Hahahaha❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋👠
Does anyone know the title of the music that plays every time we see Tardio?
I really didn't like this movie but Fichtner is great!
Awesome.
Happy
Alex Tardio
Alex Mahone
Same first name same job
Alex Mahone!!!!
Also, Agent Holden Ford, Mindhunter? 😂
Answers the age old question: what if Barry Manilow was a detective?
haha Danny DeVitto kinda... : "Miss... ter... DETECTIVE!!!"
and Kevin Caffery just like call him "Mr. Madame" or sthing kinda like that as i remember :))))))))
This man would have defeated Michael Scofield
0:23-0:24 lmao.
Cómo se llama la canción de fondo pleace
probably his best movie. he's not bad in blackhawk down or heat either. But he's hilarious here. I know the writing is great but he puts his ego down and makes it work
bad edit on the hat placed on the chinese statue...one scene there, next scene gone and then back again...
Omg he look's horrible in blonde :P but I still love him
It's the dramatic flair.
im stealing this video so I can upload the bit where he says "yes" since I think that is where the meme originated
i will credit you and I tried to download the movie to clip it some other way
LOL! So funny! Jesus is Lord, if you don't know him, please get to know Him today.
...Robbery!
:)
Name song pleace
lolwut
I didn't expect to see him act as a gay. XD
"I've done some costume design in community theater, so I've seen my share of bad acting".
He won America's hearts with this fine performance so I can see why you only try to design.
Hmmm its giving lee chaolan Tekken vibes
I thought the same thing - I watched this movie before playing Tekken 4 and ever knowing about Lee/Violet, but once I unlocked him, I immediately thought of Det. Tardio
I liked ditective hhhhhhh
tardio heracio? XD
Agreed.
May be his best performance.
🤣🤣🤣What the Michael Jackson is going on.
Justin Trudeau 😂😂
Fun movie, excellent playing by Fichtner. Too bad Martin Lawrence was in it. He's as predictable and one dimensional as Adam Sandler.
I'd argue with you, but your profile pic is so distracting (very pretty)
He always plays a robber...omg your face made me agree with you...powerful
Adam sandler is so much worse lmao
Hey man I'm Jewish. How much money do you say you make y how many movies did you put out y don't text me for that would be pretty. Predictable.
If you have read the book DON'T watch the movie. You will be dissappointed!
Why
@@vanessapierce231 I don't remember even leaving this comment. I often listen to the original audio book that this movie relates to & find it way better than the movie. There is a whole series of audio books about the thief. His name is Dortmunder. I highly recommend listening to them.
was there an actual point to his character being portrayed so effeminate?
Humor.
