I think that I loved the Dimash and Wu Tong Jasmine duet as one of my tops with WeiWei’s coming a close second as somehow they lowered his mic on the at last part. But the bend was spectacular!
Anyone who plays an instrument (like me, who plays keyboards) notices the technical quality of Dimash's arrangements: In the part where he harmonized the melody with a funk-jazz arrangement he could use the classic jazz-bebop scale (with the augmented fifth) but, based on the positions of his hands on the keyboard and the sound, we can see that he enhances the music using inverted chords, increases augmented fourths and sevenths and explores variations of the mixolydian mode, these are complex chords that demonstrate what an excellent vocalist, musician, instrumentalist and arranger Dimash is!
An interesting fact: all the arrangements you loved were made by Dimash! Dimash was kind of thrilled about it. He even asked in his Instagram if we liked it! 🥰🥰🥰 Well, I liked it very much! Hug from Brazil! ❤
It’s only Dimash who can take a traditional old Kazakh folk song from 1905 and turn it into a funky jazz version without the song sounding odd. He is so surprising every time.

Like Placido Domingo! Here they are meeting for the first time. Dimash is star-struck. 😊 Placido said they had to sing together, and they have! Dudarai As part of the “Beauty and Harmony” program, Dimash delighted the audience in China with the Kazakh song Dudarai composed by Bakhytzhan Baikadamov. Dimash was accompanying himself on dombra and piano to perform the traditional song in jazz style. It was really amazing to see on stage a new facet of his multiple skills, always on point!! 🔝❤🎤🪕
