Bit of gate way widening in the autumn josh. Surprised you didn't think to check the belts. Mown off well but thick grass mows better than thin swards.
Rented ground that we normally run sheep on, we could have put the sheep in the hard to get in fields, that would have made sense! Yes always goes through heavy grass better!
Those 1st couple of fields were dog heavy as we say in Ireland. Seeing the same here too. Some difference 2 weeks additional growth brings! The 130m would have been balls out of it had to tackle that crop! Great video as always Josh. Great job on your silage 2022 videos so far 👍
Theres a new saying for me to take on! Been warm and wet here all spring so can hardly be surprised! The 130 would not have been happy in there, glad I had my tractor for the mowing! Thanks David, always appreciate the comments!
Excellent video Josh! Glad you have a nice crop of grass. impressive seeing the John Deere Ops Center app and data. Will you be able to widen the entrance to the field so you don't have to take off the front mower on 2nd cut? Great footage of your work. The filming that takes days to complete must be a big job to edit. Well done!
Thank you again! We wont be cutting that certain block again. If we had thought about to it start with we would have put the sheep in there and cut the easy to get to fields!
We had a 4.2m rear and 3.1m front Vicon without conditioner and they were terrible for blocking. Generally damaging belts or killing the slip clutch. Gone back to a 10ft jd mower that's 30years old and faultless.
First time its happened here for me, but it was a complete pain! I think conditioners would have helped pulled the grass through! Will be having conditioners when it comes to change these ones!
Wait till you have to mow with a 5”6 drum mower, then the pain is real compared to 2mowers 🤣🤣#firstworldproblems. Nice bit of grass though, you not fancying some hay from it?
We have a 5"6 drum mower here, I think its a Sampaz? It was bought to do tiny plots. Not sure itll look right on the 155! The beauty of having a 3.6m rear mower is that its still pretty quick on its own!
Another great video josh nice to see gus a good 👍 crop of grass great drone footage 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Sandy! He’s loving being out in the tractors at this time of year!
Nice one Josh bit rain and sun and away she grows. The gaffer liked a run in the field
Thanks Stephen! Any chance he gets to stretch those legs!
Well done Josh, fascinating watching someone working lol, love the drone footage
Haha! I feel the same watching others on youtube! Thanks Toni!

Thanks Philip! Its been the year for growing grass definitely!
Great video Josh the drone footage is so clear I'd swap you mowing outfits any day our wee Massey and pz165 is just depressing in a big field😭
I shouldn't complain about having to use one big mower should I! Thanks Paul!
Hi yea josh how are the cows doing haven't seen them in awhile love my cows 🥰🥰🐄
Cows are great! They look after themselves this time of year!

Few seed heads here and there but looked like good crop all the same
Yes, probably a couple weeks late to make good growing silage, but this will be fine for what we need!
