For the past two years, depression has plagued me, but since Rema released this, I've become a better & calmer man, I've found God and peace, and all praise be to God🙏
I and this girl have been friends for a year now and then I tried to take it to the next level with her but she declined. We haven't been in contact since but listening to calm down brings back memories of us just being friends. It's inspirational. Rema as always.
I had similar experience with this friend of mine, but in my case I never saw her as someone I would like to date at first, I just took her as a friend. But as time passes alot of my friends pressured me into trying to strike up a relationship with her because they thought we look good together , I was naive at that time and didn't know what I was thinking, so I tried and it backfired and till this day I still have regrets, and I have learned a real hard core lesson from that situation. I had to take time off to work on yourself, to figure what I actually wanted and now I fully realize and I sometimes ask myself, what would you be thinking about dating a girl like, you could do better. Because even when I was friends with her, she was so damn difficult and she's pretty horrible at friendship. Right now I don't regret losing her, but I regret my decision and the fact that I let pressure of been single get to me. She contacted me once, but things wasn't as it once was, so I had to stay away her for good.
Going through personal trials in my life currently.. this song gives me relief and positive mental health.. beautifully written and performed.. thank you for your soul in this world!
