It sounds like for the most part your stories have relatively happy endings. Is this how it has to sound? There are genuine mistakes that I've made which most definitely didn't lead to happy endings - i.e. the project failed and I moved on. Yet the lessons learned are some of my core guiding principles to this day. Is describing an actual failure and its takeaways a good approach or do they just want to hear about how everything ended up somehow working out fine?
IF the question is for a failure story, then your answer should be with a failure story as well; what you learned from the failure is something that should be 50% of your answer.. and could of course have a happy ending as the last half of sentence (part of the learning) the general idea is not to speak about failure unless asked (i.e. sell yourself on your strength); there is of course the option to use a failure for a melodramatic effect.. esp. for more senior roles

I do have some difficulties with this question that I wanted to ask you about. I don't intend to brag, but I have never missed a deadline on a project, paper or article in my entire career. How should I answer if I get asked this question? Is it ok to explain my situation and maybe tell them about a few close calls I've had? Thank you very much in advance!

Dan...all the details in this video are really very good. But there is some difficulty matching them to the Amazon leadership principles. For example, the very first Q/A which is tied to Customer Obsession....somehow I am not able to buy in the linkage as this principle is all about customer satisfaction...where Amazon employee does not look into any profit/loss but deliver the needed feature for customer satisfaction which was introduced in the middle of project from no where in the original mix. You just can't say that it is not in the scope or I didn't estimated for it in the planning process. Any comments?
Just as with an interview, I think preparing the content of the video and have it delivered in a bit more clear way, would have been very helpful. I was really interested in the content that seems to be present in your video, but the stuttering and the excess of “hmm” and “umm” made it impossible to get through. I hope this can be used as a helpful criticism for improvement. Wishing you a good luck on your channel!

maybe you've done something not to the highest standards, and you needed to revise - and therefore required more time?
