I think the ATV came out perfect , I love the paint job. The moment I saw you put on the blue paint I thought that it should have been black instead to match the rest of the vehicle trim, and then you painted it black. Well done buddy, enjoy it, it looks like a fun little thing.
You tried hard and weren't afraid of getting your ideas to fruition. Give yourself a pat on the back. The black theme had me thinking of a police cruiser. Maybe you can do something like that? Great work though, don't feel disappointed!
With the panels looking so rough with the nice paint the bed liner was the way to go. Possible next project...a desk, an all terrain golf cart build, a bedroom remodel, a built from scratch drone...
Cool project, full black is better for sure ! I like that you try new stuff like the yellow fur blanket, or this stickerbomb / colorshifting dip, even if it fails :)
just a little hand grip trick that is easy. find some hairspray and spray it into the grips they slide right on and the hairspray will glue the grips to the handle bar. it's a old trick i was shown from a shop a long time ago
Love the build and love the color with the black bed liner. A cool addition would be a stereo system on the front of it made out of pvc pipe and marine grade speakers and head unit. Just a thought .
You should do a more detailed video on just the bedliner process on the plastics. With the high cost of buying replacements I think a lot of people would watch.
Double black looks cool if you're a Navy Seal running some night operations. I would have added some color or 2 tone at least. Glad you finally got done, wish you would say your cost breakdown at the end.
Motion Pro will custom make that cable for you. Better than new. Affordable price. The truck bed liner looks great. Thats what I'm gonna put on my truck body and KLR 650. You build cool shit! One of my favorite channels right now.
GREAT JOB!! Really like the fact you found a way to make it great after discovering how bad the purchase condition was. Definitely the right decision on the all Black, you did a big save on a shaky platform, I am proud of your ingenuity and perseverance. Keep them coming!!
Love watching you take things like this 4 wheeler from ready for the scrapheap, to ready for showroom floor! not sure where you are in Florida, I am in Hudson just under an hour north of Tampa. Love to meet you one these days.
Had the the same thing happen when I custom painted my 96 Seadoo SPX, the paint wouldn’t stick that great. Before it chip or started to peel I spray 2 layers of clear coat and wax the hell out of it.
I built a small sandblasting booth and am a little surprised at how much I use it. They are really kind of fun and easy to use give it a try 🤷🏼♂️ ✌🏻🇺🇸
I am amazed that you were able to make that quad actually look cool ( I have always hated those ) so great job on that. Next project could be a camper/toy hauler?
Love the colour scheme, though i nearly had visual apoplexy when you did the sticker thing and then that awful blue finish. I wondered if the paint fumes had altered your view of what looks good lol. Good sense prevailed and the black on black is dark and moody. I hope you get good use out of it and have loads of fun. As for the next project, I had thought of a classic truck, since you don't have your own vehicle. Maybe after that, a restoration of a classic airstream? That might lead to some vlog style episodes where you take the truck and airstream to some of your favourite places, with maybe a livestream or two thrown in for added interest. Keep on doing what you do best.
I don’t know if you know but there are rarely any fourwheelers have brakes. Great job but if you are going to do another one do a Honda, Suzuki that are older and it will be the most reliable machine ever.
You know right when you said that The original black paint you used didn’t work. I immediately said wrap it. Then you said wrap it but I also agree that would’ve been way too difficult. Glad you tried other paint schemes and the stickers first. I do agree black in it all out what’s the way to go. You should add a cool little stereo system to it. Or a headlight by the handlebars.
On the break line poor brake fluid or power steering fluid with a syringe to see if it’ll lubricate it & maybe it’ll work? Works on bikes that’s for sure lol great content keep it up!!
Absolutely fantastic again. I would love to see you Bring more junk Jetski’s back to life. But I will be sure to watch whatever your next project is. Keep up the good work cheers 🍺
You can always do a charity build. Find a charity that needs a new paint job on their cars and trucks. Get a bunch of old bikes fix them up and give them to a children's organization. Something like that. I think it would be neat and a nice thing.
I always wonder how you manage painting in Florida humidity. Right now in GA we have had a nice dry period and I really wish I would have started learning about painting and had some projects ready to shoot the paint at this time of year.
Thanks for great content! Love how the atv turned out. Idea for a next project could be so sort out and clean your workshop, it would make watching your videos greater! Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰
Did you try using an etching primer? I do a lot of 3D printing and to paint the plastic models you have to use an etching primer otherwise the paint does what it did on yours. A slight scratch and it just starts peeling.
Next time you have to paint plastic like that drill 1/16th holes in a grid 2 to 3 inches apart all over them then put a thin layer of fiberglass on it with the rosin going through the holes. Sand both sides then paint. I've done that on several projects with plastic items like that. Never had a problem.
Learned a lesson buying old four wheelers isn’t always a good idea especially odd ones that and that you can’t paint them four wheeler plastics lol looking forward to next build
I think it came out nice, I think raptor lining would be the best way to go as it is a ATV. Would’ve just completed the look and made it somewhat more durable. It looks great tho, keep it black and it won’t be noticeable
Music audio is a little loud in the beginning. 😕 sorry about that.
What should my next project be?
Collab with Thatboatguy
You should do a dirt bike
What about a trailer to haul the four wheeler
Was this progect ment to go with the jet ski?
I think an RV would be interesting.
This channel is so under rated. Keep up the amazing work 🙌
I totally agree
Truuue
A shop/garage renovation/improvement would be cool! Maybe install some storage cabinets, work area, something to really showcase that wall art too!!
Came out good. You Forgor to put a trailer hitch. Needs a trailer hitch to move small trailers, your jet ski etc etc. 🤪🤪🤣🤣👌👌👌
Finished product looks great! What a transformation.
Cool that you’re willing to try your creative ideas- even if something doesn’t work. Artist!
Lol
Brien Dunn, agreed.
Let's see, cool mini bikes, Seadoo, boat, pontoon boat, this 4 wheeler, etc. You are building quite a cool arsenal of fun toys.
UR's 4 wheeler hooptie rescue! Came out looking great!
A golf cart seems like the next logical step to rebuild. Or if you can find one, a Honda Trail 70
You should mount some kind of rail in the ceiling for a curtain when painting, maybe like what hospitals have
Please post more videos on the Figaro....thanks... really enjoy your content.
In the future, when painting plastics...the SEM plastic and vinyl paint is fool proof and lays down super nice!
With the panels looking so rough with the nice paint the bed liner was the way to go. Possible next project...a desk, an all terrain golf cart build, a bedroom remodel, a built from scratch drone...
It would be great if you can do a cost breakdown after you are all done to see the total investment to completion. Keep em coming!
Most definitely
Turned out really good, glad you showed the paint trial and error.
Deff do a garage/shop build or upgrade! It will benefit your future projects and more content! Great Work!
I second this! The garage/shop builds/renovations always seem to draw new people to channels too! Lots of people looking for ideas!
Awesome build. You've got a great attitude concerning this build. Stay safe and Aloha from Kansas
Rust-oleum truck bed in a spray can works wonders, try it next time! It's the only product I use when it comes to painting plastics.
Turned out really good. Love your no quit attitude and willing to try different options. Really good job! Thanks for sharing.
You should do a more detailed video on just the bedliner process on the plastics. With the high cost of buying replacements I think a lot of people would watch.
I like the bedliner look. Now you just need to throw a winch on there!
I have one but it’s not wanting to fit. Might have to rebuild the front bumper to get it on.
I was hoping you would go with black bedliner. Glad it turned out!
Glad you decided on the black. It seriously looks amazing, great job! Next project should be a UTV.
GREAT JOB!! Really like the fact you found a way to make it great after discovering how bad the purchase condition was. Definitely the right decision on the all Black, you did a big save on a shaky platform, I am proud of your ingenuity and perseverance. Keep them coming!!
Love the color. Came out great. Maybe some pinstriping/decals around lights or fenders maybe.
I think black frame and dark gunmetal plastics would be the way to go!
Ive had two 4 wheelers rhino lined. You will not be disappointed. Stuff lasts forever.
Turned out awesome. Great choice blacked out.
Way to try and keep with it. Not my favorite rebuild, but at least you completed it. I applaud the effort.
Looks great! Glad you finished it! Go-kart build next??
Love watching you take things like this 4 wheeler from ready for the scrapheap, to ready for showroom floor! not sure where you are in Florida, I am in Hudson just under an hour north of Tampa. Love to meet you one these days.
Definitely like the blackout look.
You took a complete piece of junk and made something really sharp and respectable out of it. Nice work bud!
hey the next rebuild you could do is a center concole, then you would have a pondtoon bow rider and fishing boat. Keep up the good work :)
*console *pontoon
There is a special plastic primer you need to use before base coat will stick, mite help you out in future
*might
Just use plastic primer and than other coats. You dont want to use alot of it, just light mist twice.
He did use plastic primer. That's what the Bulldog aerosol is. Its an adhesion promoter for plastic.
I like the black out, really cool. or not so cool in the hot Florida sun. take a towel to cover the seat when not riding, maybe.
A side by side would be sick!
@MadLad agreed, that’s why I wanna see a budget build or salvage repair.
here is my suggestion; a house boat on pontoons!! using those metal car garages (you know "Just $795 and it's yours----")
Final color ended up really good. I am constantly amazed at how you keep at something even when it seems to be going south. Excellent work ethic!
Had the the same thing happen when I custom painted my 96 Seadoo SPX, the paint wouldn’t stick that great. Before it chip or started to peel I spray 2 layers of clear coat and wax the hell out of it.
Tip on your grip installation, spray hair spray inside the grip, slips right on and then acts like a glue one dry, BMX trick from back in the day!
You are my favorite RUclipsr
The black on black looks great.
Man I was screaming black bed liner during the whole video.....so glad you could hear me ;)
I built a small sandblasting booth and am a little surprised at how much I use it. They are really kind of fun and easy to use give it a try 🤷🏼♂️ ✌🏻🇺🇸
Good Job Zac👍
Amazing what Black on Black can do
I am amazed that you were able to make that quad actually look cool ( I have always hated those ) so great job on that. Next project could be a camper/toy hauler?
This thing looks bad ass dude, excellent job my diy brother
Love the solid black. Great build!
Looks really good. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate your hard work, honesty and experimenting!
paint it with Rhino Liner.... (truck bed liner) from Walmart... like $7 a can should have waited 5 minutes.... cause you did!
Looking brilliant now.🎥👍
Love the colour scheme, though i nearly had visual apoplexy when you did the sticker thing and then that awful blue finish. I wondered if the paint fumes had altered your view of what looks good lol. Wow! You really out did yourself on this thing
Next - Honda Aquatrax pwc! I like the all black look I think build turned out nice.
The next project should be dirtbike from marketplace good job man!
Cool result! Like the black way better. For the next build: maybe a amphibious Argo 6x6 UTV or a Golf cart?
He definitely should do a golf cart next if he can find a broken one for cheap.
15:45 First thing that popped into my head when I saw the BRP badge... "burp". :-D
17:00 The neighbor finally got his sand...
I have 2 vintage jet skis, almost done with one, inspired me to video the next one brought back to life.
I don’t know if you know but there are rarely any fourwheelers have brakes. Great job but if you are going to do another one do a Honda, Suzuki that are older and it will be the most reliable machine ever.
*Great job and I really like the black color. You're extremely creative & adaptable.*
The textured black set that quad to the next level. Keep up the great content.
Everything u do turns out amazing!! You are one of the only RUclipsrs that I actually hit the notification bell.. lol.. can’t wait for more content.
Your work turned out really good. Keep up experimenting and showing us all the possibilities.
You can always do a charity build. Find a charity that needs a new paint job on their cars and trucks. Get a bunch of old bikes fix them up and give them to a children's organization. Something like that. I think it would be neat and a nice thing.
yeah black looks great, how about a cost breakdown vid'? it's always interesting to know how the bills stack up for these sort of projects
I always wonder how you manage painting in Florida humidity. Right now in GA we have had a nice dry period and I really wish I would have started learning about painting and had some projects ready to shoot the paint at this time of year.
The black is much better, good end result 👍👍
Thanks for great content! Love how the atv turned out.
Idea for a next project could be so sort out and clean your workshop, it would make watching your videos greater!
Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰
Did you try using an etching primer? I do a lot of 3D printing and to paint the plastic models you have to use an etching primer otherwise the paint does what it did on yours. A slight scratch and it just starts peeling.
Amazing how you manage to take a wrecked piece of junk and restore it to a fully functioning attractive ATV. Great work!
Great rebuild 👍 really enjoy catching up on your channel.
Motion Pro can make a new cable for you. They are high quality at a decent price.
I like the color. I was going to say glue some vinyl to the fenders.
Bedliner is cool. Looks 👍
FYI. Check out Smooth On. They sell moldable polyurethane and silicone. You could have easily made those poly bushings in a day.
Looks cool! Have fun with it 👍🏻👍🏻 maybe a go-kart next?
Next rebuild, maybe trick out a golf cart with a lift kit, radio, LEDs, and a paint job.
Epoxy base barrier coat. It sticks real good. Then paint.
Love the Build, Love the Color, Great Job !!!
Love the Ace Ventura hairdo.
Also, great result!
What about a 095 class - beginners guide to rebuilding, things to look for, resources etc...?
If you half to use different connections on the wiring harness just as long as it works right.& will plugin& unplug when you need it to again.
Learned a lesson buying old four wheelers isn’t always a good idea especially odd ones that and that you can’t paint them four wheeler plastics lol looking forward to next build
Nice dude build a working paintball/Airsoft battle tank i like to see that keep up the good work love from the Netherlands 💪
I think it came out nice, I think raptor lining would be the best way to go as it is a ATV. Would’ve just completed the look and made it somewhat more durable. It looks great tho, keep it black and it won’t be noticeable
That came out great. Nice work.
Who did you go through to get custom bushings
