hey there i really enjoyed the video i reminds me of the great things and the unique style of my country its great to see people explore and be open minded i became part of a project that helps the less fortunate families that cannot provide the necessities for theyre children to go to school and will most likely try to spread the awearness for guatemala as well as other countries but we all start somewhere so im happy i got to see this video and i think your awsome as well as your friend for sharing your adventure in my birth country so thank you

Lago de Atitlan...! my roots come from that place, my paternal great-grandparents grew up there and they move to the pacific coast just in the other side of the volcanoes in about 1940's. I went to "Atitlan" for the first time when I was 6 years old, 22 years ago and I still remember that trip. Now I'm MA, USA. I also speak the native language spoken in Atitlan. I hope you liked Guatemala... (y)

I feel so sad for you. You went to a "food court" and had a "hard time finding food." I was so happy to hear that you finally found real food: fries! It's always great to travel to a different country with all kinds of exotic foods that you could try and opt for fries. Also, people don't hate you. They love you. Just look at all the guatemalan males leaving you flirtatious comments. Gotta love the guatemalan male creature.

Hi I come from Guatemala, I am a US citizen but was born in Guatemala city.I love Guatemala my dad still lives there and my brother.Always be careful do not be too trusting there is a lot of violence .In a rural town they just burned a 16 year old girl for no good reason.Enjoy it but be careful .take good care .

Hard time finding some food?? What do you expect, you're not going to find hamburgers or hot-dogs like in the States. Guatemala has different food and you can't be traveling saying " we had a hard time finding food" I mean what about las tostadas and stuff? If finding food means having some French fries in a foreign country, that's pretty sad. Open your eyes, there's food everywhere
+Catalina Londono In that particular area the only food they had for sale was french fries and corn. I loved the food in the Guatemala but we couldn't find any in the market itself.
5:45 they don't hate you guys, actually that's a "poor ppl spot " reach or tourist ppl never go there, and if they do they act like," I'm better than you, cuz I'm rich so don't talk to me, don't look at me and get out of my way" and locals don't know if you gonna act friendly or not really, so locals try to keep distance and show respect by not talking to you, sorry for my tipos actually English is my 3rd language ha

guatemala is a nice place to visit, but for the locals there is a very evil side with murders every day and rampant violence that as a tourist you dont get exposed. I am trying to make a difference in this country little by little. if you want to see this side that is unexposed, please feel free to watch a documentary that vice did on me here on youtube. its called"guardian angel of Guatemala or the interview that i did in NY under"how one doctor is saving guatemala city". I enjoyed all your videos very much. looks like you girls had a good trip.

+Malle the beauty Hello, yes in the hotels they have that service , will you find a lot of places I can't say names but believe me YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING YOU'LL LIKE I recommend San Pedro La Laguna to you
+Malle the beauty they were just everywhere in town. There were signs that said the city we wanted to go to and then we would go in and buy a ticket.
