Byleth is worth it. Not just bias. Their moveset is good to counter aerial characters. They can kill early and edge guard most of the cast without getting ultimate on. Also while their nair is small compared to clouds, it's still better. Can lead to a tech chase or smash attack follow up if they don't get up on time. I have byleth vids if your interested. I like cloud, but he has been done a disservice in ult.

Could you explain what moves Leo DOESN'T use? Down B is obviously wifi cheese, but he uses Byleth's whole kit. I would say characters rely on a handful of moves for neutral, isn't that just the way things are? You don't see ZSS throwing out Up B for no reason, do you?
Leo makes every move count. It's unreal. He hit eight different moves in the first stock, only repeating one move at the very beginning. dash attack --> dash attack bair side-B nair OOS ftilt dtilt --> uair fair
Don’t forget that Peach is trash online. Byleth is alright but you do have to time things or else you get punished. Playing Peach requires way more precision, precision which is hard to execute online
Peach is pretty bad online since her combos need a lot of precision. I’m sure it doesn’t help that Leo has probably played Samsora’s Peach more than Samsora has played Leo’s Byleth. Also, it’s Leo, the guy makes any matchup look like an easy win.
It's even offline, since Byleth gets messed up in disadvantage but can zone Peach out really well due to her lackluster range and mobility and Byleth being good against aerial opponents. I say it's even slightly Byleth favor. Online, it's like -1 or -2 for Peach.
Fun Fact, if you jab lock with Jab 1, you can get a guaranteed down smash. Took a hilarious amount of Online stocks with that. EDIT: So I should also mention, this isn't super reliable. Except for big bodied characters with huge hitboxes, most character are pretty thin. You have to hit them right on the part of the animation where they just slammed into the ground and are bouncing back up, or they low profile and your jab will just miss, and you look like a moron.
