Man, this interviewer is really good. She asks the right questions, let's them speak and doesn't cut them off mid sentence, complements them when it's appropriate, actually knows what she's talking about, has a soothing voice and doesn't raise it so the girls feel a lot more comfortable anwsering her questions and don't feel like they have to raise their voices to be heard and is funny, all of her jokes were on point. Honestly, I'd be ok if she was the only person who could interview fifth harmony for the rest of their carrers

What I understood from what Dinah said at the end is that C was hiding behind a mask and pretending that she was ok when she was broken on the inside and D is admiting that she did smth wrong and that she wished C told her that so she could apologyse. Even tho for me it was pretty obvious that C wasn't happy in 2016, I mean, her sudden change in behaviour is big giveaway

None of them were very happy in 2016. It's not deep. Camila wanted to leave the group and the others wanted her to stay for one more album. That's basically it. Obviously that caused a lot of tension. Ultimately it was the label that was pitting Camila and the group against each other by offering Camila a solo deal at the expense of Fifth Harmony.

I remember in an interview Dinah said ally is nice until you get her mad, but when you piss her off, thats it. I think ally and Camila had the most beef, and normani seen right through Camilas bullshit.

there's already a group doing R&B-Pop tho like they should either stick with pop or go in a different direction. i had high hopes for Down but it sounds like all their other stuff, especially work from home. if this is any indication of how the album will sound i'm not excited.

After listening to the album, as i expected to be bc they said the same of their previous albums, have to say I was disappointed with all these claims of it sounding "r&b/urban" bc a lot of them just sounded over produced, not soulful with the exception of bridges or don't say u love me.. Which are only 2 tracks while the rest are up beat n not really lyrically creative. They just keep making un memorable albums w the majority of the track list bein upbeat I don't get it

I don't think Dinah was apologizing. She definitely was referring to Camila, but it wasn't an apology. I think she was saying that in general if they have problems with each other she wants to be able to talk it out with that person so that IF an apology is necessary (which is this case I don't think it is) she can genuinely do that and understand the others' perspective. I think she truly tried to be there for Camila & to bring her spirits up (hence the post at the end of tour and the dance video), but idt that Camila never truly let her in enough to understand how she was really feeling. It was so obvious that she was trying to be happy in public, but closed herself off for whatever reason bts. You can only help others as much as they let you, so whether Dinah tried to help or not, she could only do so much if Camila wasn't really letting her in. Besides I highly doubt that they hate her, like people try to say they do. You can tell that they've moved on and washed their hands of the situation. Nothing can be changed at this point.
ecabby2010 you do know camila tried contacting them and they were not about it. She revealed that in a billboard interview right after the split. Therefore the communication didn't go anywhere and now they don't talk at all
Yes, I know that and that was after the fact. She said that she was hurting for awhile so I think her attempt to communicate came too late, the bond was already broken or too far gone at that point so it wouldn't have made a difference.

That was in terms of her leaving the group not the way that she was hurting, from my understanding. And she said those talks were done on their last tour together, she had been hurting long before then so like I said I think the communication came a little too late to salvage anything.

Camilla leaving has allowed the rest of them to shine more, and I love it. I love that they're always taking the high road too. They feel more like 4 distinct individuals in a group now, and they all seem to have more control over their artistry. And this interviewer is fantastic, not asking them any uncomfortable questions, and really focusing on the ARTISTRY. Bless.

I don't really care for 5H like that but I've been able to see them in concert twice. You can tell in this interview that all of them were so close and they were devastated when Camila left. My favorite part of this interview is how he interviewer seems very genuine and actually interested in hearing their answers. A lot of other hosts will ask a question with a fake smile and fake attitude and say all these slang words like lit or slay or turn up just to sound relatable. Meredith(?) was very open and straightforward without sounding too cheesy or like she just wanted some sort of scoop. As well as the questions being very well worded and 3D. I'm gonna need her to conduct any 5H interview from now on

This interviewer did such an amazing job at showing us a different side of the girls. Only fourteen minutes and I think i learned more about them than the past five years that they've been asked about boy crushes and stupid irrelevant shit like that. Props to this gorgeous interviewer and our girls. I'm so excited for their new album.

Honestly, I dun care whose fault is it. Just because it's 4v1, doesnt mean that one person would always be the one to take all the blame. I just wanna see some Caminah again, Dinah was literally singing along to "Bad Things" and showing her support to Camila and Camila acknowledged it right before she left the group. I feel Dinah really wants to reach out to Camila but the other 3 girls are also one of the reasons why she dare not because its kinda clear that the other 3 girls are still not on good terms with Camila.
When will all this drama end? In the meantime, you harmonizers and camilizers can stop stirring up more drama with "She should apologize first, no she should bla bla bla" or "they started it first, she started it first", MAN grow up! part of me is like intensely aggravated because these 4 girls are so beautiful and talented and idiots in our fandom won't just allow them to be Fifth harmony and to appreciate them as 4 girls. This is honestly the first interview I could watch throughout without getting annoyed/pissed off. She made it such a comfortable setting for the girls and let all of them talk as much as they needed to . Her questions were on point too

12:39-12:19 I think Dinah feels guilty and responsible with what went down with Camila the last few months and the fact that she becomes the bigger person and apologized and says that she still supports that person proves that she's a true, genuine, forgiving, and loving person. I mean she could be talking about anyone in this situation, but if it was Camila or any other person she was talking about, this makes me respect her way more than I already do now.

Dinah I believe in this interview took the first acknowledgment that in some way they all have to apologize to eachother if there is any possible way to just end in good terms. even if the apologies are done directly or indirectly it's value still remains the same .

I love these girls so much and im so proud of them. They handle themselves with such class and pride. They are so woke in everything and they know just how to get that across. THESE GIRLS ARE SO AMAZING

They truly grow up and mature now . they know how to handle any situation properly and smartly, they speak all the things that hardly anyone can say . especially they really respect each other and support each other , listen to the other's opinion or feelings and help each other go through the ups and downs in their life . They all deserve to be a successful and best girl group in the world , and to be role models of the generation

What an intelligent interview! Loved how she actually asked questions about their music not any drama or personal info. She slays.
I didn't hear no damn apology. What I heard was, "I can't read your fucking mind, so don't expect me to. If I did something, wrong, then open up your damn mouth and tell me that. If I know that I did something wrong, then I can apologize." Dinah didn't admit to doing anything wrong. What she said is that people need to communicate their problems so that they can be resolved, which is true for everyone. If Dinah's words were about Camila, which we don't know because they could be about anyone, then Camila had 1.5 years to say something. Camila could have said something when she skipped meetings and therapy sessions. Instead, she waited until after she left the group to try to contact them.
