Yes that is correct, it will be located just adjacent to where The Villages Grown greenhouses are, and as of now, it is not golf cart accessible however. We did talk about this in a prior show!

Christine, You should do a “Ladies of the Starter Shack” ☝🏻 😂 … share stories you hear from the Villages golf courses (since golf is such a big part of the lifestyle here) Loved Tina’s interview with the golf pro 👏🏻 Along that line, you could do an episode on the fun and unusual activities that go on in the Villages. For example, I’m amazed how many people don’t know what Cardio Drumming is (and it’s HUGE here). My wife had to get to Ezell early because they have limited space (for 60 people). She was there almost an hour early this morning and she & our neighbor were #58 & #59. Those who arrived after her got turned away 😮 But there are many other unique activities available here. You can interview someone in the know ☝🏻 Oh, and I was informed this morning they’re removing the credit card machines from the executive courses (it’ll be cash only) 😩 … for guests, trail pass, etc As always, good stuff 👍🏻 keep up the good work. p.s. Didn’t know FMK ended their loyalty program until we ate at Harvest the past weekend and were told 🤷🏼♂️
Funny you should say all of that! Stories from the Shack would be hysterical, at least I think so :) And great minds think alike... we have in our queue conversations with people that do partake in other special activities such as water aerobics, platform tennis, mah jong, etc! Yes also true about the new "cash only" at the Executive courses (except Longleaf, which will retain the card reader) as of 2/1/2025. Tip: Keep cash in your golf bag if you don't normally carry cash.

Christine: I get my hair done and Hair and Nail Creations which is close to Brownwood hotel (Near the plaza where The Sunny Pint is) My girl is Anna Thompson and she's great - I have tried a few since I have been here and I have found my person! Tina goes to Hannah at Debby’s Hair Loft in Coleman. This is near a fun shopping spot called "Coleman Crossing" and is just 10 minutes outside the Villages.
Always a great video. I'm coming down February 2nd to experience the villages for the first time Would like to know what championship Golf courses I should be looking at. Can't wait to get out of the Seattle weather very Gray, very depressing. .
Hi David! It is sunny here so much of the time, although at the moment it's chilly. We really hope you have fabulous weather when you get here. You can drive 1 1/2 hour (in your golf cart) from the northernmost course to the southernmost course so it depends on where you'll be and also how long you don't mind travelling. The farther north you go, the more mature the landscaping is and some may say more beautiful, such as Tierra Del Sol, Palmer Legends, or Lopez Legacy. The farther south you go, you may find the greens more pristine, such as Southern Oaks or Shallow Creek. For lots of natural water, It's Evans Prarie or Belle Glade. I took the 2 trolley tours and learned sooooo much. I’d visited here 3 times and never took the time to take these free tours. Now I’m closing on a house in TV next week and thought it wd be fun. Highly recommend taking both. One leaves out of Bwd and one from Sawgrass.
