@@o_u_i_j_a_6634 not sure if you’re still having this problem, but my guess would be: your car’s year or even just the model may be direct TPMS (do a VIN search to see exactly what year/make/model your car is). if not, then try updating your car’s computer software. still no dice? a mechanic with a diagnostic tool could clear it. but it’s likely to come back if you have an actual issue going on. indirect TPMS car’s can easily trigger a dashboard warning light because the threshold for triggering it is determined by somewhat imprecise calculations. while direct TPMS cars have pressure sensors in each tire that constantly and accurately measures the PSI in each tire and sends the measurements to the car’s computer via radio-transmission (with the exception of a failed sensor or bad installation). Meanwhile, the way that indirect TPMS cars determine tire pressure is through calculating it based on info from your car’s other already-built-in-systems like Traction Control and ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). However, depending on MANY factors all the way from where your car was manufactured, down to what EXACT year/make/model your car is, and even as far as things like: temperature changes, a tire rotation, a new set of tires, a mismatching set of tires, sudden or often acceleration, equipping a spare, turning off ABS or Traction Control, or just simply putting more air in your tires… all of these can cause an outlier in the computer’s calculations based off of your last ‘calibration’ (all of which is considering your car can even calibrate), thus leading to a tiggered tire pressure light on your dash. Regardless of whether or not your tires look fine. That’s just the short of it though, do some research into direct vs indirect TPMS cars and Im sure you’ll figure out your answer, assuming you haven’t already.
Hope I was able to help :) Best of luck!
