  • This is an updated version of a classic class video introducing symmetry as a way to design in stained glass. Following the physics of how glass breaks, as well as the general rules of designing anything in stained glass, it's really easy to make an abstract design that'll be ready to make in a very short time.

Very helpful. I am also looking for tips on how to make my own patterns for other styles of stained glass as well. Like turning a picture of my dog into a stained glass piece for example. A video on something like that would be wonderful!

Hi - I would like to get into stained glass - I am wondering where I can actually buy the glass! Looks like all the tools are available online, but what about the panes of glass itself? Thank you.

We have Hobby Lobby which sells stained glass panels. Do a local Google search for "stained glass studios." But there are many online, like Delphi, Anything in Stained Glass, Ed Hoy's, Stallings Stained Glass, eBay.
