What a great experience to share with the utube family. I played in the woods just off of the Appalachian mountains. It still looks the same as it did as a child. We love to look for vines that swung across a valley of leaves to land in, if we failed to make it to the other side. We were warned that the boogers would get us, now I know what my grandma was talking about...she knew what the Cherokee family members had told her. Even a child has enough sense to leave the wood's, I remember the time's you felt uneasy and just wanted to go home. It got to where we just didn't go back and stayed close to home to play. The track through the wood's took me back to a child of age 9, with a free spirit. Until the next time. Thanks again for sharing this wonderful adventure with me

No shit .This was an engaging and insightful peek into the real lives of real men...their collective passion for finding that encounter ther which may bring closure to all their questions. They picked you to go with them because you are the best at what you do from the whole Cryptid story community . I have listened to all your stuff as soon as it gets posted for over a year now and this was the icing on the cake of all your great stuff to date. Cam, the observation at the very end is so true. Back in the day a man could go out into the wilderness and build himself a cabin or ranch and start raising cattle sheep whatever. Now it is regulated to death. There are few of these diehards around. You mostly find them in Special Operations Groups but even those people don't put down roots. I think you have hit the nail directly on the head. It saddens me. There is a country western song about the trailblazers of western music entitled 'Whose going to fill their shoes?'
I wonder how many men who are out there who are living lives of quiet desperation not being able to do these things.
I thank you for all your work even if you think is fun and play.

    • @cindydintn
      @cindydintn 2 года назад +2

I did, and I'm not a man. I do not work or play well with others. We bought 11.93 acres in Middle Tennessee. There has never been a Bigfoot sighted here in Smith county. This is quite because this is not an easy place to scratch out a living.
FYI, I am not putting out food or trying to do tree knocks. I am just praying that nothing decides it wants a goat snack. They are welcome to all the coyotes they can eat. I hope all the Bigfoots in Tennessee live long, peaceful lives in Wilson county, or wherever they can find peace.

With all due respect you have never been a farmer. Yes hard work and determination are a virtue, but your missing most of the story. Do you really think that a man who has grown up farming and then becomes his own man and contunues on that tradition of farming in the family would want to sell out. You are very misinformed. While there may be some who just want a quick dollar , I can tell you as a farm boy that most want nothing more than to have that legacy go on through their children and grandchildren.
Do you have any idea of what it takes to be a dairy farmer? You wake up at 3:30- 4 am every day. You get the cows in from pasture and into the " loafing shed". And then you take then in 10, 15, 20, depending on the size of your milking parlor. At that time you grain them generalky while they have the milking machines on. Then you bring in the next group. When you are done thats when we would go eat breakfast. When I was young , it was 3:30 to get ready to feed. Then we milked and then ate breakfast. After that I would go to hockey practice by 6:30 am and practice till 7:30 Then back home and at school by 8:30. Home from school by 3:30 and get ready to feed and bring the cows in for the 2nd milking. Start milking at 4 be done by 5:30 and then do clean up of the milking parlor and scraping manuer in the loafing shed and parlor. In the house by 6:30 for dinner. Then homework for however long it took. Then bed by 10 hopefully.....then get up at 3:30......
Sat and Sunday were a little better cept on Sat it was instead of going to school it was doing machine maintenence or putting up hay or green feed for future use in feeding the cows. Summers didnt get any better. In fact in the sumner most farmers grew crops to suppliment the outsourced hay and grain to feed the cows. I can remember putting hay in the barn for a month working from before light till after midnight.
And dont forget tending the garden and canning fruuts and vegatables.
And one more thing....a farmer works 7 days a week 365 days a year. You have to milk a cow every day 2 times a day or they get sick and die. You dont get weekends or holidays off.
Now about thise poir souls who have no choise but to sell the farm. Almost 100% would never sell, the farm is tgeir lifeblood a way of lufe sometimes for 6-7 generations or more. We are proud to be farmers who supply the country with foid and sustinance. To run a farm can be very expensive. Some teactors are iver $200,,000 each. Then you have other machines , cutters and choppers for preparung the hay or green feed. Wagons and trailers made for that specufic job Hay balers and elevators to get the hay up in the barn. Then you have the fences which need constant atten. You have to be a vetrinarian and give the animals medicines to keep them from getting sick and clean and trim the hooves so they dont get hoof rot. Then you have vetrinary bills for doing the things you cannot. Nearly every farmer needs to take out loans on the hope that they have good enough crops to help feed the animals

    • @barrysmits7538
      @barrysmits7538 2 года назад +2

When a farmer has to sell out it is generally becayse theyve had a bad year, maybe the production and amount of milk the cows give was low and you dont have enough cash flow to sustain the next year. Or the weather was bad and your crops that you raise to sell and suppliment your income didnt produce enough. Or you uave mechanical breakdown and you dont have enough money to replace that $200,000 tractor.
So with all due respect , yoyr comment about hard working honest farmers is and will always be completely unfounded. Yours truely
      A Dumb Farm Boy.

The audacity with which you throw out your wealth of knoweledge is absurd. Weather or not you have seen these creatures there is no one that has enough knoweledge to make the assumptions that you just did. I personally have had 2 encounters with these creatures and they didnt last very long and Im thankfull they didnt. But the everlasting impact they have had on my life is beyond a normal persons understanding. Once youve seen one of these creatures you are changed forever. You cant unsee what youve already seen. Just the reality that you know that they are out there is a huge burden. You cant talk to most people about it for fear of ridicule, althoygh that has never been one of my issues. I dont care if you think Im making it up. The truth is real and undeniable for me. So anytime you can tell me that you have observed these creatures for any length of time I would live to hear your story. But theres issues I have about dealing with tge unknown. You think alm these creatures are Bambie lovers? Would it be possible that within their society that there are good as well as bad ones? How do you know that they arent all bad, have you lived with any? Have you observed them in person or by watching Harry and The Hendersons. Theres a man named Todd Standing in Alberta Canada that will take anyone out into the wilderness so that you can see a Sasquatch in person. And he guarrantees that you will see one. If you want to find out from someone who knows aboyt the behaviour of these creatures it is him. He was successfull in lobbying the government of British Columbia to put Sasquatch on the endangered species list. I suggest that you search for Todd Standing online and watch some of his library if evidence. Then come back and comnent. Unless of course you have more experience with these creatures than he does.

@@barrysmits7538 Barry that is a big line of fertilizer. I was raised on a horse ranch, I was plowing fields by the the time I was in third grade. I wasn't big enough to throw hay bales so I drove the wagon for them that could. One year it a wet fall and oat field did not ripen do Dad went and borrowed a horse drawn bundler and the hay was stacked just like you see in the old movies of big stocks.
Dad did a lot of horse shoeing. My brother was a master farrier. You run a long line of fertilizer that no self respecting farmer or rancher would never brag about or even mention. So you plop your fat ass down on the barstool and brag about the one cow farm you have and leave us working folk alone

Yeah, this is up there for sure, if not the best tied with Bigfoot Odyssey. The subjects of the doc certainly don't hurt either. You could tell that each one of those men were no nonsense, non attention seeking, really just seeking the truth, kinda guys. This topic is filled to the brim with insane people who jump to conclusions, see 14 bigfoot in each still frame they see, and, of course, tell giant whoppers. It's refreshing to see regular, everyday people who take it seriously like them.
Outside of them, Cam did a great job as well. He has a knack for this and this being his first, I can already tell. He totally needs to keep doing these, Kerry Arnold style. I can't imagine how much better they can get. Minus a few audio issues, this was nearly perfect. It was so good, I didn't even care about the audio/video quality. The content was spot on.

We had camped there for more then two weeks . The camp was near a hunting camps and horse camps . It was in between season for both those camps . So we were totally isolated and backed up against a ridge named Missionary Ridge , Durango Colorado , 1979 . It corned us at night while in the sleeping bags . I always felt they or it was watching us , as soon as we turned the lights off , it began moaning first like injured person or animal then screaming , howling , it was terrorizing . It was between us and our vehicles . No way out . We just had to endure . At first light we threw our camp into our cars and left . I never went back .

Now, let’s talk about the level of craziness to undertake such an endeavor...it’s bad enough that you all are chasing evidence of something that no one would believe you saw it, but add to that the sheer physicality that’s required, sleeping on the ground, trying to migrate through that unstable turf, AND ALL WITH TEMPS NEVER GOING OVER 25 degrees!!! To say you all are courageous and brave and thorough doesn’t even come close to what is required to endure such trips! But Thank God that you all are that crazy! Thanks to your courage and tenacity and just hard work, the rest of us can snuggle in our comfy chairs and warm homes and still be in on the excitement of your journey! YOU ARE ALL BRILLIANT!!!
Thanks to all of you!! But Cam you are the star! To see this level of quality on RUclips blows my mind!!
Even after listening to you on Dixie Cryptid for several years now, the quality of your work is astonishing!!! You have such a brilliant future in all aspects of videography, narration, and writing!!!! I love Steve Lilly!!!!!!
So I’m hopeful you’ll be able to quit your “real job” to keep entertaining and enlightening us!!!!
And you are such a nice man!!!
    I’m your super fan!!!

I think of all the BF Explorers, I appreciate this group of people at my top. We all are here because “something happened”, we had an undeniable experience and found each other. I’m no expert but I know what to look for and have learned just by being in the woods. I’m a horse camper and I live to camp and be out in nature. I respect BF and I have no intention of provoking one. I have not actually seen one but came close and had so much activity at my ranch the time of all the events I went from a non believer to skeptic to being obsessed with learning as much as I could. You guys are right in so many ways and we really need to be prepared when we go out. I like covering my ground by horse and my dog. Both give good indicators of any danger or activity. Stay alert. Happy scouting.

(not a bigfoot story but,,,) 30-some years ago my brothers had a camp in Northern PA. We were manly men. Hunted, fished, taught our young to love the outdoors while there. The camp has long ago been sold, my oldest bro has passed, another isn't physically able to venture far and I'm in Maine. (Like the one fellow says here), there's not many people that I know now that I would go fishing with, much less camping in the woods. I feel a tear of reminiscence welling in my eye as I type this. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this amazing film. For an hour and a half as I watched your film, I was back with my brothers. Doing things men do. God Bless you all!

    Cam,
This is the best documentary I have ever watched in my life!
I was captivated from the opening dialog to the ending credits. You did these great men justice in this production and your incredible skill is reflected throughout as you told their story. It left no doubt with me as to their dedication, expertise and honesty in what they obviously love doing. That is a hard thing to capture and present. You did a superb job on this and it certainly reflects that to me! It's a truly wonderful film I would have gladly paid to have watched. Take a bow sir for you earned a standing ovation from me!

Loved this film! These guys are the right kinda ppl to look and document BF. Awesome experiences and stories. I would love to see them go to South East Texas along the Pine Island Bayou North west of Beaumont and the Sabine River. So many of us grew up there and it's just nothin for us to talk about our sightings back in those swamps. Some think we're crazy lol but we know what we've seen . The bugs are awful, but it would be worth it. Any number of us that grew up there could show em thrackways of what I call little foot. They've chased out my neighbor's Dad from a deer stand on a pipeline on his 4 wheeler. They've followed us, spied on us and waited for us outside our homes. I've seen em walking by my house on a rainy evening, just like it was a side walk to town. My kids have been watched, as they watched it watch them. They finished hitting balls in the backyard. Thier cousins scared and left, while they came and told me this experience. There's so many stories and paths we could tell and show them. A lot of us have moved out of state, but we still visit and talk of those times. Lots of ppl have sightings there in the Big Thicket. It would be worth Thier trip. And yup, you gotta love the outdoors, cuz them swamps aren't for the light of heart type person.
Congrats Cam! You did a great job

My best friend and I were 23 years old we world bar room broilers, construction workers. Long story short we're on a hunting trip got lost in the woods. Work that way out of the woods to a reservoir Beach. Walking back to the truck just before dark it was later in the beach but dark in the woods. I thought I saw something skirting us through the trees then my buddy said that someone following us. Then there was a scream so loud like I never heard before. It was not someone hurt looking for help or mad. It was just a loud scream!!!! We both start with into the woods then we saw two large dark figures that's all I can say. But they were huge and swing back and forth between trees. They're about 20 or 30 ft away two of them. We are two in the type of guys that are afraid of nothing can we ran to the truck like two school girls. My godson which is my buddy's son took up an interest in Bigfoot. He started talking about it at a 4th of July cookout this past summer. That's when we started to talk about it for the very first time. The siding was about 35 years ago we work together every single day spend every holiday together and we never talked about it.

An excellent film sir, you've done wonders with the audio, it doesn't sound like it's been cleaned up (as you mention in the description), my ears did detect a kind of small reverb effect but i thought that may just be bouncing off the big rocks in the forest, otherwise it sounds natural so hats off to your processing skills.
So Kain now lives in Nepal! Does he no longer join in with the expeditions?
Thank you for sharing this, i'm planning my own small, solo expedition here in the UK so anything i can learn from serious investigators is like gold dust.

And on top of that - everyone in the bigfoot community needs to watch this, and needs to learn these lessons. I've often wondered how many squatchers have read and studied Goodall and Fosse. How many are true woodspeople and trackers. After watching this - I'm convinced - this is the way.

It was interesting and engaging, providing many insights into what drives these guys to commit so much time, money and energy into venturing into deep woods and wilderness for bigfoot evidence gathering. And I haven't even mentioned the many potential risks that they are opening themselves to. Amazing 👏 I agree that these type of men are dwindling in numbers with each passing generation as not too many are willing to forego the creature comforts of home. 40 years ago me and a friend drove to an old road, no one goes down it in the wee hours of the morning and not to many during the day as we got to the very end we rounded the last turn the lights of the car landed right on what could only be a big foot 40 50ft in front of us crossing the road it turned just a bit as it crossed and looked right into the lights, it was GI NORMIS, DARK BROWN. this thing made my car look small it walked into the forest, I turned the car as it walked into the forest, I shut the car off and jump out and ran a few feet in front of the car to listen, it was dead quiet except for my friend crying let's get out of here, I wanted to hear it but nothing, I think it stopped in the forest and watched me, I got back in the car drove away, me and my friend didn't talk, we just drove home, to my knowledge my friend never told anyone, and neither did I.

One of the best Bigfoot videos i have seen for many years. A unique approach to the subject and totally unlike the usual dross of tree knocking and whoops and howls which is becoming the boring norm, keep it up guys its fascinating, best of luck on your hunts.

Just beware of mistaking another Bigfoot research group a few miles away doing tree knocks and whoops ect as the real thing, this has happened many times.

Great documentary Cam! Amazing group of men doing and amazing job. Loved everything about it until you walked up to the edge of that cliff and looked down 😳. I’m scared of heights lol 😂.

I'm not for the 25° Temps at all. I'm grateful these guys are and that have been doing their research. Thank You Cameron for your interest in learning more to expand our brains. Excellent job and I'm glad you went !

This was very interesting. I wonder what these guys will find being inserted into a Missing 411 incident area. It would be so helpful to hear whether the big guys were in the area or not. They are on the suspect list and for good reason. Cam, if they follow up with you, I hope you'll let us all know. T/Y Excellent job.

Ditto on the Missing 411. We’d all like answers. Recently heard a retired RCMP tell a horrific tale of predatory BF. Prefer to hear collaboration before believing they hunt children. Friend saw a feral child in a creek bed not far from where I live in North Texas. He was in shock and did nothing.
I don’t know what to do with that. Who do you tell? Who would believe? It tortures me thinking a child is out there “surviving”.
      Sorry, got on a rant.

@@tbiggar2312 I agree. IF they are taking kids, there wouldn't be much evidence. We have humans taking kids all the time. No media coverage. Just statistics. I'd think a real feral child wouldn't survive in cold weather. So much to learn. It makes it that much harder when there is an active government cover-up.

Oh my gosh! This just popped up on my tablet. I absolutely Loved this. These men are like, Hero's!
Thank You also Cam!❤ I learned so much, so much common sense. It made me cold just seeing them all bundled up for the cold!!!!
