In my corporate job I was making 2k a month, now as an entrepreneur I make 0k a month 😂
2k a month and you‘re free of stupid commutes or annoying bosses thats a win in the lottery
Doesn’t help that inflation is through the roof.
Doesn’t hurt my zero income
Thank you for the transparency and honesty! Please continue to update the situation as it happens
Thank you for being so transparent about the headaches and insecurities of business. It’s been almost 2 years of hard work and I’m just now scratching the surface of the benefits of being an entrepreneur. Despite what the internet will have you believe it’s incredibly difficult and painful to do more hours than a job for less money sometimes 😂
But you have to have a certain mindset and take on accountability most people are just not comfortable with. It’s like jumping in a pool though, once you’re in it for a little while it doesn’t feel so cold any more
Entrepreneurship is for you ONLY, if you are a competitive person, and if the following rings true to you:
"I'd rather work 80 hours a week on my own thing, than 40 hours a week for someone else."
Otherwise, do NOT try it.
Wish you all the best, mate. I'm enjoying your content as I am also trying to find more freedom in my life. One thing I've found crazy (but so obvious now) is how much your values change from being 22 to 32, in my case. I never expected it to happen. And people think you're insane for wanting to give up a secure career 😂 Good luck, and I believe you'll look back on this time with fond memories.
I don't see job security in having a regular job. These companies act tyrannical, but I get what you're saying.
the job security is youre secure with your life until you get fired
My biggest challenge is having crazy ideas and doing them but I have a bad habit of sharing things.
As a beginner, it's easy to assume that people want you to win, but you need to he careful because a lot of people want your ideas.
It’s a double edged sword in some respects. Even that supposed „guaranteed“ regular income isn’t really that secure these days and can be taken away in a moment. Especially in the US. Especially in tech. Tech is built on cheap borrowed money and those days are done.
My brother in law works in the oil industry and for as long as I can remember his job has been lined up for being „restructured/outsourced“ then it being postponed, only to come back as a possibility a couple years later. This year it’s due to happen again.
There’s surely a mental price to be paid for that „safe“ salary. Problem is people will wait to be pushed before making a jump most times.
"i feel like a big boy" "i feel like such an adult"
LOL, you go, Dorian!
Go Dorian! ☺️
Thank you for this information man
Bro. Retirement? We gonna be rich content creators 😂🙏🏾
I'm going to cut my monthly salary to $1500 next year. I want to leave my 9-5 finally.
Sure paycheck gives freedom, but the feeling of being imprisoned (or even enslaved) is not worth it.
Cringe thumbnails as of late.
He barely makes any views. Gotta do what you gotta do 😂
