Absolutely love the walk through the alley of shops. So, brightly lit up painted in white with colored railings, doors etc. Love the stone pathway. All so esthetically pleasing. Each shop has its own uniqueness. I love white and this is so beautiful! The flowering vines were stunningly georgeous. It's amazing that you made it back to the same spot you started at. A person could easily get lost in that maze.
I have several Greek friends here in NYC that own a diner that are from Mykonos and they have told me multiple times that I should travel there. After watching this video, I definitely want to now. What an amazing place and thank you so much for sharing!
Don't want to disappoint you but did your myconian friends told you how ridiculously expensive is there in myconos esp in red hot season? choose any other greek island (except of santorini) and you will be just fine -unless money is not a problem then myconos (and santorini) is the place to be...
OMG!...Its soooo busy nowadays....I was in Mykonos in 1977 and had a rooftop apartment in the center of town ..I was so fortunate to experience it in a more civilized less frantic state..but gorgeous !
I love this place. You can be out at night feeling the breeze while everything is safe & lit up. It could stay open all night! I feel sorry for the babies in the strollers though 19:58 the poor baby has his legs up in the air he was so tossed around lol
I loved this video. I always wanted to go to Greece. This is a wonderful place. I love all the shops and restaurants. This is only one part of Mykonos . I hope to visit one day.

In August, and then I went back in September! what to say, this island transforms you, once you come home you are no longer the same as you used to be ... in my life I have never felt so alive, here is everything that I have always dreamed of from life, transgression, perversion, sex, fun, pure madness. Mykonos is magical and at least once in your life you have to go there !!!! ps: so in the end you will not be able to do without it. MYKONOOOOS

Yeah, I could have stayed there longer but decided to come back here. I was planning on going up to the Lake Como area right after but it was raining so I went south instead and filmed Lecce, Gallipoli, Alberobello and Otranto instead.
Superb island !! Had 2 week holiday in 85 and had friends staying the whole summer from the UK. Lovely people and great nightlife.Looks even better all these years later. !!
The white buildings and cobbled streets are as gorgeous under streetlight as they are under blistering sunshine 😀 I’m not a great lover of heat, so evening walks are my favourite whilst on holiday 😎

I'm not sure if that's what it is always like...and this was on a Tuesday night. :) I had planned to go to Lake Como all summer and when I looked at my weather app it said rain everyday...so I kept putting it off and it never happened. Turns out it barely rained at all. I'll get up there this spring though.

Ever heard the phrase too much of a good thing is actually a bad thing? Excessive Tourism is a real threat to the soul of a place. Mykonos doesn't look anymore like the warm, cozy village that I visited years ago. It looks artificial and bereft of all authenticity now...
Too much progress has nothing to do with it. See, there is such a thing as "progress". Things, cities, societies, countries, change, move forward. Can't be stuck in the 50 years ago,... past. With goats, donkeys hogging the roads. Oh! Thank God for Jumbo 747's, Triple 777, double decker Airbus 380, that get you to Mykonos in hours. instead of days.
David good thing is there are dozens of islands around Mykonos that don't have the same problem, so you can experience Mykonos for a day but enjoy the majority of your time somewhere more traditional👍

It's 4k but has one terrible drawback /"feature". When you turn your camera even with tiny speed the resolution drops to zero. Literally to something like 144p. Impossible to watch on large screens
Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I had a second version of this posted up where that blur is not as bad, but there is more grain. When I denoise the video, it adds some motion blur.
