Thanks so much AutomotiveInteriors.com for supplying us with a beautiful replacement carpet. The fit was perfect! If you guys ever need any interior parts for your vehicles, definitely go check them out!
Where is the world heading? Ugly women do yoga, dance barefoot, do home workouts, and beautiful women do repairs. It shonld be the other way around.
You can't tease us with one line from a song. You have such a beautiful voice. We all would love to hear a full song.
I owned a 1972 Gran Torino Elite, with a 351 Windsor. I love that car 🚙
@@spidercan63 I love the 351 Windsor as I have a 351W in my 70 Cougar that you see in my profile pic.I did rebuild C4 trans but the engine `has 96k and I'm too lazy to get to it in my old age lol.
Why didn’t you start the car and run the heat …..
Incredible job putting this video together! It flows great! ❤️
Thanks, lover. Couldn’t have done it without you!
Well neither of you two could have pulled all this off without Gus so enough backslapping already.
The Torino needs some custom shag carpet floor mats 🍿
Dear @@StuartB_
👍👌👏😁😁😁
You are sooooo right! I absolutely love this little dog Gus 💚.
Best regards, luck and health in particular.
The doggys just wanna come over and work on cool old cars with you guys ha ha ha 🤘🤠👍
Id watch Gus vids all day long. I love that little fella
I 2nd that 👍
Yea he’s the best! Hi Jeff hi Phil!
@@jennifersugint he is awesome and funny....stealing gloves like that 😂😂
You guys make a really good team. no fighting, everything clean, very enjoyable to watch and learn.
Lay out the red carpet for you! Love this little family! We need more travel videos!
“I can probably get out”
“They usually have those emergency handles”
You and Chris get along so well, I love to see it.
He’s a good sport lol
and no fake dramas or over acting and laughing crazy at stuff that's not that funny
This is better than Netflix!!
While I enjoy watching your videos, of you (two or three) fixing those old cars and then driving them home...it all gives me the chills and achy solar plexus reliving all those old car ills that I had to live with for many years until I could afford to get 'good' vehicles for myself and wife. I hate old things. All my life, I never liked old cars, old houses or old women! I am now 80 yrs. old and married to a 76 yr. old woman and I couldn't be happier...but nothing else is old! Yes, the Gran Torino is a beaut but I wouldn't have it unless it was in certified new condition. I still hate old things...even myself, sometimes!
The world is better with you guys in it
Jen can say so much with her facial expressions and pauses. Like a whole sentence with swears and everything with one look!!
This is not the first time I’ve been told this lol
omg just made me feel Really REALLY old when you said oohh look 1986 the year i was born... this is a great looking car now and it's only getting better.
I know, I was a few short year from becoming a Father for the first time.
@@davidcolesr.8628 my daughter was already nine!!
You guys are such great people the world needs more like yourselfs. Hi Guss
Gus is a hoot🤣 he has so much energy
Jen, your animals have the coolest personalities ever. Turbo and Gus together are hilarious. I like your style of editing where you kinda break away from the project for a minute for all kinda different shenanigans. Thanks. (Seth from North Carolina)
They are all so quirky and we are so lucky to have them. And thanks so much, Seth!
I really enjoy your videos. Part instructional and part comedy. Perfect. Love you guys! I'm from PA too.
That was a lot of fun! I like the way that you do your videos Jen. Its really fun to see you and Chris working together and the way that you two interact. Personally I like all of the side distractions with different scenes being added and "look squirrel" moments! HA HA HA !! That was funny with the dogs next door peeking their noses under the fence. Thanks for taking us along , have an awesome weekend and thumbs UP! 👍💯
We sure do have fun together. I’m trying to find a balance of what clips to share without boring the viewers. It’s all new to me so thanks for your input, Richard!
Your songs seem to heal my heart~
Holy moly this looks like a brand new car❤❤❤❤
Aren’t we all a little out of whack? You polished a turd into a desert rose 🌹! Lol , and only fell on your face once… looks great and fixing the leaks surely gives piece of mind. Great work, even camera angles.
The Torino reminds me of my high school buddy's '71 Cyclone GT (351 Cleveland). It was an orange red with a white vinyl top and ran really good. Many good times were had in that car.
Joy to watch these fantastic videos
Great Afternoon Viewing! “Our Jen” leading the charge on automobile updates, and Chris offering up technical advice!
Great video! You're. The real deal, Jen, beauty and just dig and help Chris I'm the projects. Great teamwork and chemistry. Keep it going and thanks for these fun videos.
Love the baby squirrel. When I was a kid I would bring injured animals to my Mother who had a Vet friend.
I like it that these kids will get out and work on their car in the cold of night. 👍🏻🇺🇸
Holy crap I was nodding out a little bit on the couch and I heard you singing and it was incredible it woke me back up... You have a great voice and your guy is a good wrench too real good wrench.
I was wondering what happened to Leo the squirrel. You and Chris are fun to watch. Good to see ya diving in and gettin your hands dirty too!!
Brilliant video as always Jess. You and your partner make a lovely couple. Love his videos also and I can’t forget the Gus man, he makes me laugh 😂
Your such a trooper Jen, no holding you back 👌
You are a cantankerous angel don't ever change your voice gave you away... You're something beautiful to watch
nooks & crannies. I was trained to diagnose water leaks in 1984 at Niagra falls of all places. You guys have an excellent approach. Many times it was poor design that led to water leaks.
Flexseal, I bought a van box with a fiberglass top, it leaked where the side panel and the top met, bought a tube of the white, no more leaks, not one drop. I also glued the foam of a rider mower seat back on to the steel frame, no coming off ever.
Man you better put a ring on that girl finger, really quick, she's a keeper.
Sup! Can't wait to see your channel skyrocket to the moon! May 2023 be your best year ever!
Thanks streetrider!
What a peaceful place!, Jennifer, you made that living like brothers ( no human brothers )...instead a" truth brothers " the Dog, Cat, Squirrel...who share the home, and of course, you two are a good couple; maybe this rare behavior on the pets, it`s happened because the peace that they breathe from you two...🐿🐈🐕💞🧘♀🤸♀
I’m convinced that whatever you want to do, you get it done!
I absolutely loved the video of you 3 driving it from Vegas to PA
Thanks so much for watching our videos!! We both appreciate it, Shawn.
Jen, do you have any more videos coming out soon? You both remind me of my wife and I and we just bought a RV today. Looking to travel around the US finding hidden gems (vehicles) to do what you 2 do with them. We are in Albany NY now.
Gus is just so cute. What a personality he has
I love that car! My Mom had a 73 Mercury Marquis and my grandmother had a 74 Mercury Cougar XR7. The equivalent to your Elite. They had a ride that nothing today matches.
Dogs with big personalities are always the best dogs. I knew once I saw Gus giving you the side eye just before digging into the carpet that you were going to have your hands full, lol.
The side eye 😂😂
HI! Good morning Jen and thumbs UP!
Hi, Richard! Thanks as always. You rock!
This is car work we can appreciate. It's cold, we are in the driveway, and the car we are working on is a solid five.
I hope you keep the Torino for as long as possible...the viewers have grown to like it..and for all of its faults...its a cool cruiser👍🚗
You and Chris go together like peanut butter & jelly. The car is looking great 👊🏼
So nice to see you two and fiddling around with Gus. You are a perfect match. Please make more of this content. Really entertaining. 😊
Wow, the paint came up great! What a classic car for sure.
Thanks Jen, Gus and Turbo are so cool!
Beauty interior work, now it's a keeper .
Приятно смотреть, просто и со вкусом! Спасибо! 🤩😍
Jen… That Carpet job turned into a lot of work. I thought you were trying to sneak Chris into the Drive-In. Ever been to a Drive-In Movie? Love your Blue Plaid winter hat! Real Cute!
Nice clown show and Gus with the neighbor fence! Good job with the carpet guys! ❤❤ I want a little gus! 😊
Lol, At minute mark 27:38 Did Chris say, Almost got caught by the Redcoats Filming?
Brought back memories going to Concerts at the Spectrum in the Early Eighties, always keeping an eye 👁 out for Security,...hence the Red-Coats!
Lovely Footage from Our Jen!
I love this Car ! You made a good Job
Jen emulating Alfred Hitchcock 😂
Great Directing Jen with the weird scenes.
😂 I intend to put more random scenes in future videos. It’s quite exciting to me that I can sporadically include my random sense of humor. Not sure if makes sense to everyone, but if it makes even one person giggle it’s worth it lol
A nice car no doubt, my friends and I have always wanted an Elite. Thanks.
Central California watching
Well done! Interior is tricky, and the flex seal should be good! And Remember, 1974 was the last year that the 351Cleveland was built. After that it was the 351M/400 and the 351W.
You guys are great I love it the car came out gorgeous that car is a very nice car you guys keep making these videos and hope to see more soon so keep on keeping on
You guys are funny and enjoyable to watch!
Thanks for sharing!
It's nice to see appreciation for a car built in an era when the fuel crisis was killing performance, and technology was non-existent in cars. Most people couldn't care less about a 351 2V with may 150 HP in a 2 ton coupe. I remember when these were new, probably 12-15 years before either Chris or Jen were even born!
Jen you have absolutely beautiful voice love to hear you sing gus is a cute little guy .
Great Job Jen with some help with Chris and Gusman, on getting everything-out, flex seal some holes, and putting in carpet and seats.. cool car..
Great video you and Chris are such a good team working together
Awesome how she asks if he's gonna tell us about the jeep and he says exactly what we want to know, nothing more and nothing less 😄👌
Amazing Navil air show, they are the best of the best pilots
I just found this channel I love the vibe you guys put off thanks for sharing.
Nice job, Jen. It's fun to see it from your perspective. Keep going, gal.
Your channel is a lot of fun Jen, I love it. Our dogs steals our gloves and socks too😂. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
I loved that video with the torino trip back to pa.glad to see the torino is still around.👍
Love you guys, I watch both of yall religiously. Btw I'm from TX, would love to have this beautiful car. They don't make em like they used to.
Edit: I noticed the lime green na chip you have on your key ring. Not sure if its for you or not but I identify with that and that's usually 60 days but congrats if so.
Slick car, glad you two are keeping and updating, well done.
Lots of hard work, but it sure did turn out amazing. That car is looking better with each job you tackle on it ! Steve, from Montreal.
Fine looking ride Chris and you brought back to close to new. Jen the car fits you well. You should start driving it all the time.
The puppy dog and cat were cute looks like you all had a great Christmas, wishing you all a great and prosperous New Year
I replaced the carpet in my Cherokee with carpet from the same company. Took a little trimming at the edges and it was fun finding where to pop the holes through. Came out real nice, though!
I’m glad you didn’t miss the opportunity to lock Chris in the trunk lol!
That’s Hilarious! Jen tells Chris that “He is Hovering”!!
I quite enjoy you and Chris working together on a project Jen, making our time watching enjoyable, laughing and learning as we go along. Never feel bad if you make a mistake, as we've all done the same, but you certainly get a B+ for effort, and operating some of the many tools you have in that garage, along with Chris's parts collection, it's a joy to watch at our end. Love Gus and his energy too! Stay safe and as always...look forward to your next video, and honestly understand the time & energy it takes to put these videos out, and it's very much appreciated!
Crackin me up. Mocking Chris with the "I'd say that job is done"..haha
Great fun and nice job on the repairs and install! Can’t wait to see more...
Great work, Jen and your helper!
That turd is definitely polished! No, it was an awesome job sealing up all those leaks! Great work on the video as well. Keep up the great work, and the great videos!
Great job from Windsor Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 luv you guys
Jen always be comfortable and be yourself, that is why we watch your videos. Thumbs up!
❤
I approve @30:15 backup refreshments are secure
Quick edit - I hope you guys know I’m just throwing out some additional suggestions. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with how you guys handled the leaks. There is no one right solution but rather there are solutions that are right for a given situation.
For those rusty areas that are thin and might leak one option is to clean the rust, heavily coat the area with corroseal, let that cure and finally coat the area with some automotive seam sealer. Seam sealer can be tough to spread so a trick is to use a heat gun and a cheap paint brush dipped in acetone to flatten and smooth out the seam sealer. It works great.
thanks for the tips!
That was a great model. very comfortable ride
wow red carpet good job
Glad to see you giving the Gran Torino Elite some love Jen, it's definitely a keeper! I had a 1972 Gran Torino Sport fastback or Sport roof as Ford called it bright red like yours with a 4 speed that I wished I would of kept. I need a 🐕 like Gus, he's so much fun!
I love this car ☺️
Would HAVE kept, or Would've kept.
@@loves-dogs Would have kept.
I would say you guys went above and beyond it looks great.
I fixed bunch of water leaks on my old truck with stuff called white patch $20 or so a gallon at Walmart even did a cab corner lol all u need is a puddy nife appreciate you making videos
Poor Turbo he has a lot of patience with Gus! You two have a lot of integrity to go ahead and find the leaks, then treat the floor sheetmetal and fix the cowl leaks. The Elite has come along way with all the fixes you two did. It's an amazing piece of running and driving history. The carpet, the paint finish and all the fixes came out great! Well done Jennifer, Chris, Gus, and Turbo!!
One last tip....
If you take a metal rod, and heat it with fire/torch, you can pierce the bolt holes and singe the carpet holes.
It is a lot easier than the drilling with a hole bit.
No frayed edges on the holes.
I know you won't see by eye because it is hidden, but I have seen guys mess the carpet up before .
The jump scare was funny... It got me
Lol
Nice to see that you are taking good care of this great car. I wish there were more such cars in Norway.
Many greetings from Norway😁
I loved the clips that you put of Leo in this video thankyou Jen .
Locking Chris in the trunk that was awesome!! LMAO!
I love your guy's video... So positive and fun. Chris has alot of knowledge, I am a grease monkey too. Plus, Jen.. always has a smile .. and you guys are so fun together. I was impressed when Jen replaced that sewer pipe... Alot of girls wouldn't even think of doing that. Plus, gus... Trying to help out .. great videos... I always smile and laugh watching them... Keep making them. Happy trails ...
I find it fascinating that watching this video is so intriguing. I can’t honestly say why, but I can’t stop watching. And I know damn good and well. I’ll be watching the next video. I must be losing my shit. Thanks for posting and entertaining my simple ass.
Thanks, Ralph. I appreciate you watching even if you aren’t sure why lol. I mean I, myself wasn’t expecting it to be a home run video since it’s just a carpet install 😂
Вы классные и мне нравится чем вы занимаетесь и делитесь с нами. Удачи ребята и везенья!
