    Would be hard for the bucks to make the move for Jimmy. First, they have to move Pat Connaughton as a salary dump( which will probably involve draft comp)... And then they can aggregate Kris+Bobby... But do they have the draft capital to salary dump and then offer Miami draft cap as well?
    Not only that, but then the bucks don't have a backup center, and they look really bad without a backup big( Clippers game really exposed that).

    Milwaukee doesn't need Jimmy and his BS. Portis is the mayor of Milwaukee, they aren't going trade a fan favorite gritty dawg for a disgruntled need the ball in his hands diva. We got scoring handled with Giannis and Dame. We need a defensive player more then Butler.

    The Bucks should not trade for Jimmy Butler he is 35 years old, plus he is a free agent, and can be a malcontent, if he is unhappy he could completely sabatoge this teams's championship odds; they should not Trade their 2031 First unless its heavily protected for a 1 year rental. The only young player ghat I'm ok with the team trading is Beauchamp all others are off limits in my opinion the team needs to stop mortgageing their future for old ass players who cant stay healthy, I would rather trade for a younger wing and center like Cam Johnson, or see if Nic Claxton is available, players who can also help this team in the future, This team is to old, if they dont get younger, and trade their last reming picks or young players this team is going to end up being bad for 10 years. That is something I am not ok with.

  • @chris-y05
    @chris-y05 4 дня назад +2

    Milwaukee makes perfect sense, I've been hoping they would land Jimmy when Pat Riley refused to give him the extension last summer. Miami now know they're not getting anything significant in return, so Bucks have finally become a viable trade partner. The only thing blocking, of course, is the second apron, I don't know who'll help facilitate this trade, but I hope the Bucks will only lose Middleton, Connaghton, Portis and a couple of second round picks. Miami gets expiring contracts in Middleton and Connaghton and MIL's 2nd round pick. The third team gets Portis and gives Miami a first round pick and MIL's 2nd round pick. However, this trade will NOT propel Bucks to winning the title this year as the team chemistry will be totally shot. They'll need to figure out how much to pay Jimmy in the next 2-3 years in order to make a run in 2026 and 2027. How I hoped Riley would've taken this deal back in Nov, he would've spared all the drama and expedite the youth movement and MIL will have a better shot at 2025 title.

    • @berserkmonk5331
      @berserkmonk5331 4 дня назад

      @@chris-y05 apart from the apron issues of the bucks, the other big issue is that they do not have a backup center outside of Portis.
      But maybe with Jimmy, they could scale up, play Jimmy at the 4 and Giannis at the 5, when teams decide to go small.
      If you recap that recent bucks vs clips game, the bucks looked so bad without Bobby. When the clippers took Zubac off the floor, the bucks still ran Lopez out there, and he literally could not guard anyone. Bucks could not play zone with Lopez and the Clippers took advantage.

    • @chris-y05
      @chris-y05 4 дня назад

      @@berserkmonk5331 Yeah, forget about filling the void with a perfect replacement this season, even if they trade Lopez instead, they're no winning the title this year. They'll have to fine tune the roster in July and make a run again next year.

    • @berserkmonk5331
      @berserkmonk5331 4 дня назад

      @@chris-y05 yeah that's part of the issue. If they get Jimmy, they're basically having to guarantee him they'll extend him in the off season.
      Getting jimmy right now has to be a "we need a chance to contend this season" type of move.
      Imagine if the bucks don't extend Jimmy, he picks up that 52m player option in the off season, and then does the same stuff he's doing right now in Miami 😂
      Can the bucks afford absolutely locked roster spots( with no real way to improve)+ a pissed off Butler eating 52m cap next season?

    • @berserkmonk5331
      @berserkmonk5331 4 дня назад

      @@chris-y05 or maybe best case scenario is that the bucks just want to shed that salary?
      Maybe they want Jimmy to decline his player option and test free agency, so they have that 48m off their books?

    • @chris-y05
      @chris-y05 4 дня назад

      @@berserkmonk5331 Personally I think Jimmy is a great fit for Bucks, they should keep him at a reasonable price. Bucks often go on stretches without a bucket and Jimmy is the perfect remedy. If Jimmy wants to go, that's fine too, it's not like they've given up a tonne to get him anyway, Middleton, Connaughton and Portis are all in the final year(s) of their contracts anyway. I don't see anyone wants to sign Jimmy to 3 years for 100M+ in July, he may seriously have to think about staying in MIL for 2 years for 60M or something similar.

    I disagree saying butler a good fit for the bucks 1 because dame is having a bounce back year 2 giannis and dame are ball dominant players. Jimmy can't shoot always hurt and needs the ball in his hands. And he has ego issues is his ego going to allow him to be way off ball more ? I doubt it. Plus Jimmy is older and everywhere he goes when stuff starts getting bad he wants out and causes problems. In my opinion I really don't know why any team would want Jimmy honestly. I dont know why teams not talking about lavine more. He is better than beal and Jimmy. He is younger and healthy now

    Jimmy would be probably the second best fit in Milwaukee after Memphis, but that would become probably a worse situation the Russ trade to the lakers cpl of years ago.. there would be no other moves or signing anyone in the offseason for a good year and a half at least... trading Bobby would make them really thin at the big positions and rely to much on a 36 year old Lopez I think.wouldn`t Detroit be the only option for them to dump Pat C-s contract and not get any player back?

  • @JeremyZ22
    @JeremyZ22 4 дня назад

    Legit question. If you are milly or Chicago and you had to pay Bradley Beal or Russel Westbrook a max contract the rest of this year and next... Who are you taking? The answer can't be neither!!!
    For me and almost all laker fans we hated the Westbrook experience. And yet I think I'd prefer him over Beal. (Depends on the situation for sure)
    But no way in hell am I moving lavine for Beal.that contract is way worse.
    No way if I'm the bucks do I want a backcourt with dame and Beal.
    No way this is a good fit.

    Khris Middleton hasn't had great numbers, not because he's declining or hasn't 'recovered' from injuries, but because Doc Rivers hasn't wanted him since he got there, and the assistant coach, who Lakers fans know, Darvin Ham, loves him some T-Prince. Middleton could be doing way more if he were getting the same minutes and touches he was getting before his injury, or before Doc got there. Khris Middleton is a proven 2nd option on a championship team, and at worst a 3rd option on a championship team. Bobby Portis is not just a starting quality PF, but a damn good one, and just happens to back up the best PF in the league. The Heat would still be competitive, and have flexibility for the future. Its a win win as long as the Heat get good draft compensation.

    Milwaukee defiently ending up with one of Zach or Jimmy, they are too agressive at this point. Zach is more on the Giannis timeline so that would be a better macro move but Jimmy for them right now would make them the best team in the east imo.
