Aren’t these just the best Christmas gifts we singers have received from Freya ❤ blessings to you and your family
Beautiful! At the 1:00 hour point... the german piece, didn't catch the name! Wow! I felt that. Riveting. You really really owned it... what a lovely gift... your artistry is enlivening! Thank you!..... And on another note altogether... Spanish is actually known for being an incredibly phonetic language, that is to say, it is easy to learn and pronounce because what you see is what you get, unlike french is is known for how much of what you see is NOT spoken... Spanish has other structural and historic idiosyncracies that make it in some ways more difficult to. master as you get deeper into it... but at the level of pronunciation it is very clear and consistent... but it is not generally gutteral but placed more forward in the mouth, not as much so as french, but compared to English and German... though, even there, there are differences depending on accents from certain regions and nationalities... in Spain there are some more gutteral sounds or fricative glottal sounds around the pronunciation of the J, as an example. Japanese actually belongs to a different linguistic family than Chinese, and therefore the softness you express is more particular to Chinese, especially mandarin... The Japanese phonemes in many ways are not unlike those in Spanish... clearly distinguised and enunciated. (In Spanish there are of course variants such as the Cuban variants where certain final sounds are more aspirated and thereby, the linguistic complexity, in part because geographically is so widely speadout...)
Freya, would you be able to make a video about starting on consonants please? I have been practicing Green Finch and Linnet Bird, and the onset is difficult with the "gr"
