I love your statement towards the end about the "gas guzzler", "gotta keep the wife happy", so true. So now almost 3 years later, what's your current situation? Do you still have the 24 kwh LEAF and the wife? ;-)
I see the + wire going from red terminal through firewall and back to the trunk. But, in the trunk, there are 2 wires. Where does the negative wire come from?
Negative wire goes to any part of the chassis. It can be a bolt or or you can grind the paint off and drill a hole for a screw somewhere in the back. I don't have the car anymore and I can't remember where I put the ground wire but that's what I always did when I would install amplifiers.
Alaa Alqurini the only thing you can do is get a new battery. If your car was made less than five years ago and has less than 60k miles. Nissan will replace it under warranty. Leaf batteries are air cooled and don't like heat. If you live in a hot climate area try parking in the shade or in a garage as much as you can. Good luck.
A few weeks ago we lost power after a bad storm for 3 days and my leaf was able to run my house the whole time! I was averaging 1% per hour.
What all did you run off the car? Fridge, lights, phones
?
Nice vid, I be connecting an inverter soon to my Leaf, thanks for the info.

You look like mma Nate Diaz, older version👍
I’m a car dealer too! In California! Perhaps we can work together and trade inventory or I can even send you cars from here.
Cool

@@helpyourfellowhuman thanks. I've also wondered if the inverter could be used while running the car or not.
@@sachb44 yes. It should only be used while the car is on. Othwise you will kill the 12 Volt battery.
You can get a 3kw inverter now days for $50
How is the battery on it now?
Size of anl fuse?
please sir help me my nissan leaf car 2012 became 8 bars . that mean distance is very short .can i increase bars ?

Too much unnecessary talking. Please be concise and get to the point. Vid could/should be 5 min long.
Sorry, next time I'll send it to you for editing and final approval before posting.
