I felt depressed when I beat the game. Sure the A bomb was stopped, but who’s to say the Nazi’s wouldn’t try again? At the same time I felt that Carson was sad for a lot of reasons. He lost his coworkers, his home, and he lost his one chance to drop the bomb into the sea so he could still fight for the resistance. But to me, I’d like to think no matter how many Nazi’s he killed, the America and the rest of the world that he once knew is gone forever.
Many games from that era give you that impression because don't use unrealistic supers fast body reactions. Some game's mechanics on modern FPS portraits an M60 as light as an M4 . Perhaps that's is what you call "Lag"
This is a game that belongs to my childhood. But I still have this one question in my head: why couldn't Carson jump out into the ocean instead of sitting down knowing he's gonna die?
@@mrfixit8776 good point, unless if he went back to the Hangar where he would probably find one strapped on a pilot BEFORE carson started the countdown.
@@tammaral-alyawy9156 Hmm maybe... he could've went to get the parachute before pressing the button. Then jump equipped. If the game get's remastered then hopefully they can add that ending option.
Weird that COD WAW and this game came out during the same year, 2008, but this one was relatively unknown since COD wasn't known all too much back in 2008. Either way, good video
Are you kidding me? CoD 4:MW literally propelled the series into the heights its known for in 2007, took the games industry by storm. Every CoD game after 4, including WaW pretty much eclipsed most other shooting games that dropped alongside it.
@@craneum123 I wouldn't say every other game in the Cod franchise "eclipsed most other shooting games", like Infinite Warfare or Ghosts But yeah you're right, I'd consider COD4 to be the thing that spearheaded the franchise into popularity
That is Tower Bridge, not London Bridge. Typical mistake by Americans who can't be bothered to do a even a minute of research on bridge names in other countries.
The precursor to Wolfenstein The New Order, Old Blood and New Colossus
Except not written by hypocrites
The godly ultimate sacrifice in end.
Wish I’ve played this game. Idc what others say; I love war games through and through. That’s all
I'm the same way
i thought the same but this game was painful. I’ve played so so so many games and this was just terrible lol

Never actually thought about this. Pretty sad ending now that i think about it.
And cue Wolfenstein TNO
I still am sad about London's demise and it being covered in Uberconcrete. Maybe when it's free it coukd rebuild the city
I wish this game wasn't so poorly executed..

@@enterBJ40 the game is genuinely hard to play lol it’s controls feel like you’re playing with massive lag

I think with that altitude he wouldn't make it without a parachute.

He would have still been caught on the blast, and he was also too far from the shore to survive
@@vulpes7079 that's a good ass point 👍
This has some wolfenstein vibes
This game oversaw Wolfenstein TNO.
The difference is America was never attacked by an atom bomb and the Americans never surrendered, I mean the American Resistance
Yes
Pretty sure it takes at least four days for a Zepplin to travel from Germany to New York (or at least that was the Hindenburg's record).
That’s an advanced zeppelin you can’t expect any accuracy
When you enter the blimp there’s an Easter egg that if you turn around and peep through the door you came from there is a Giant Banana, no joke

Requescant in Pace, Carson
Oh this vid just came out I thought it was old
I love your channel keep up the great stuff
There is no passion, there is no vision, there is no aggression, there is no mindset in this game play
The bridge is called tower bridge and it’s an iconic London landmark (I’m British but never been to London)
I built that level and a few other areas in this game. 2nd game I ever worked on.
@@mportillo78 cool

So proud of yourself 🤣😁😂
Successor of Übersoldier I & II
This game was a lot better than the critics said. Just because it wasn't as polished as CoD or Battlefield does not make it a bad game.
Yeah
RIP Carson
28:53 overkill
Wonder what it would look like with ray tracing

London Bridge has fallen

Is this a world war 2 game
An alternate post-WW2 game where the Germans won the war and defeated the allies.
