- The two most important things in a bedroom are the bed and the wardrobe. For the first one, finding the right balance of style and comfort is easy. As for the second one, things are a little different. There are lots of things to take into consideration before choosing a design or a style.
If you prefer the room to look clean and simple, then you can opt for a compact design which hides everything inside. Just figure out the right compartmentalization. You should include a large space for hangers, a few shelves for folded up clothes, drawers for small items and accessories and perhaps even a few secret compartments.
All these compartments can remain hidden behind large sliding doors or panels. This way the design remains minimalist and you can use the opportunity to play with colors and shapes when decorating the rest of the room.
To save space in the room, instead of dedicating an empty wall to your wardrobe, you can custom design the cabinetry around the windows. Take this opportunity to also include one or two cozy window nooks and reading corners.
Consider mirrored doors for your wardrobe if you want the room to look a little more spacious and open or if you simply want the surface to reflect the beautiful views outside. Here’s a design with a symmetrical structure and a mirrored door at the center.

The design is quite good. However, it's suggested to have plyboard rather than plywood or HDHMR as palla in an almirah. Even HDHMR is bound to bend with time if it's not proper vertically aligned. Also it's a new board so assuming it will be good for say 10 years will be wrong.

Loved the video.. But borer proof acutually means the board is borer resistant and borers are small worms which bore the wood n destroy it.. Screw holding capacity and borer proof are two different things altogether.. Thank you.

Wrong info at the start. Even HDF leads to loose screws later along with MDF. Only plywood won't do that.

Sliding wardrobe is awesome..all these wardrobes r ment for men ..not for women bcz we hv somany varieties of clothes n cant keep all in such small wardrobes😄infact we need 5 such wardrobes🤣lighting arrangement is really a good idea..keeping shoes along with clothes is not advisable at all even in westren countries too..they need seperate opening under the wardrobe..

Good information ! Can I use the sliding doors on upper channels for my old wardrobe !
kindly please check the information before putting it up for viewers to see. all the info given was wrong. - 1) handmade wardrobes will always be stronger than machine-made ( the designer says the reverse) 2) Nailing and putting laminate from top is always neater and crisper finish over screwing it and using HDF Is never good over plywood. 1600 sqft sounds good price but for ply and HDF is cheaper material compare to PLY. please cross-check before miss guiding. Lastly, veneer is expensive but it can last for decades and will always look new compare to laminate which doesn't have that long life and will fade in color.

It’s not rocket science for anyone to know industrial craftsmanship is cheaper than hand work but on contrary the it seems 3-4 times of what you’d pay per sqft of any good quality carpentary
Do whatever math 1600-2100 persqft is outrageous.
I like your content but dude this is misleading. Be damn honest to quote a premium for your craftsmanship don’t call it cost effective when it’s not.

Aman walia had he been using cheap fixtures and local products id have been more than convinced with your proposition but considering the quality elements he is offering the price seems justified. It includes hafèle fixtures and lighting ( just to let you know the wardrobe light aka led wardrobe tube itself cost 11 grand ) four 175 degree fixtures of hafele would alone cost around 2k ; 100-110 sq feet hdhmr is required to make 8*3 wardrobe that would be another 8or 9k ; around 31/2 sheet of laminate since its laminateed on all the side 4000-4200 for laminate , hettich quadro v6 channel another 2400 , handles another 10oo plus the labour( construction and installation ) and markup .. you can do the maths by yourself 😋😜
And for that money, I’d expect better aesthetics. Why wouldn’t you want shelves, even if adjustable? If this is what I’m paying, I’d rather go industrial look as shown in the thumbnail. Wardrobes bereft of storing capability is just as good as a lit breadbox. Definitely not stylish as he kept on saying. Meh at best.

After closure of doors the sides should aligned and should not overlapping to each other . Dusts are entering between the gaps of two sides. if you can release some videos on it.
