Half the entire building sunk into the earth. That's why there's water in the livingroom, a crack in the building's walls, and why the roof and floors are on different levels. Loved the video!

Wish I could show you how I did that house, you did a lot of things similar to me. Biggest difference is I made the 2nd, and 3rd bedroom, one room, and added a balcony off the back. The backyard I did almost the same, the sit down area was bigger. For the most part though like you said that house is laid out really well, and not much needs to be changed, one of my favorite bases I ever had.
Dragging around a mobile base like the camper would be SICK! Think of how kool a wandering man serious would be
What a great idea to be able to a tailer behind your jeep - that would bring a great element to a "Nomad" series for sure!

Cool flip and LOVE the A - Team references ! Adding to the idea of live streaming a house flipper episode but asking the fans to choose colors or vote on design ideas would be fun.
that whole section of the house is broken off from the rest of the house. The reason its 1 block lower than the rest is because it’s supposed to have ‘fallen/sunk’ into the ground from the flood water probably softening the ground too much. As for where the water comes from I’m not sure.
Im surprised you didn’t notice this, especially with the cracks going all the way up to the roof and even the roof (and windows) being a block lower. The entire section broke off and sunk into the ground. Its an interesting POI design and I really like the direction they went with it.
I also like the renovations you did nonetheless. Instead of raising the living room back up you instead made it a modern-looking sunken in living room.
Maybe use half blocks or plates for the bottom bathroom to make it look bigger inside but still look flush outside. Great vid.
Legit loved the blue and yellow room. Stuck out like a college kid's room to me. Stick a guitar on the wall and call it mine ha ha ha

i think i would love a mini series for a milestone in subs where you take all your house flipper builds and put them in a new world and do a series in that world and occasionally pass by your house flipper builds
I love this series (along with all the others btw), it would be cool if you also did a "Restore this Ole House" series as well and restore the houses to their "original" condition without changes. It would be interesting to see some of these houses look new.

I believe there's also a tool/weapon in the cm that allows you to set a height and flatten large sections to that setting. Can't quite remember which one, would have to look it up.

When you chose this location, I really thought you were going to turn 'excess' water in the sunken side of the house into and indoor outdoor pool swimming pool, maybe not the greatest barrier to a zombie apocalypse giant hole in the side of the house but could have looked sweet :)

You should have built a stand up shower and a way into that bathroom from the outside. Make it like a rinse shower for the people that are done swimming. Also just to have access to a bathroom from outside.

In the creative menu if you turn on dev items there is a wrench called the block replace tool under the tools section. This thing will allow you to use the z key to choose chunks of blocks to completely get rid of or replace with another block type. It makes work like what you did in the backyard soooooo much easier. Sadly it wont allow you to put a block in a spot that is not currently occupied by another block but you can use it to replace multiple blocks with air.

Superb editing on the video as usual, the last hit with the last music beat was awesome.
Zeds don't see plates that are on their side as a path. So they are only beating on the side as a frustration thing, not in order to create steps to get to you, like they would if the camper was made of centered plates.
The reason the floor is sunk. It's too sell the idea that the house cracked (the huge cracks in the wall) and that part of the foundation fell allowing the water to seep in. Now the reason the foundation cracked and the house fell is because the standing water in the backyard, well it caused all the dirt under the house to move from under it causing stress on the building which made it crack and fall down.

I find when you have a small horde base right next to other buildings (and even trees) some of the zombies will hit the other buildings (and trees) and your small base doesn't take all the fallout.
