Junior mcgibben is now a probation officer helping youth turn away from crime and violence, this is a good story for someone once featured in CW most wanted big up junior
The customer who kicked the robber was truly proving his Karma is good, good, good. 8” stab wound that missed everything ⁉️This man is a hero and he proved his good character, so I’m thrilled he was able to recover. I hope they catch that guy and give him 25 years. In Broadmoor.
Did you too get the impression at 28:30, that the robber was _really_ Cilla Black, acting in one of her pantomime roles? 🤣 Only, she would've said it in more of an uplifting tone (the second time "you're gonna get stabbed! :)" is said). Same accent and everything. And then the audience would've broken into rapturous suspense! That's how my mind sees it anyway! I'm sure the real robber was thinking that way too.

I can see him in cop dramas. He’d be great, and he could show his comic side in an appropriate manner. Not that he isn’t funny, it just isn’t the right venue. I miss Ross.
Do you have the reconstruction of the murder of Valerie Graves in Bosham, nr Chichester in December 2013? Crimewatch definitely covered it. This crime remains unsolved.
I can't find the video, Andrew, but here's the latest I've discovered on the case: www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1152462/valerie-graves-murder-christian-sabou-west-sussex-midsomer
Kirstie said they had over 160 murders solved due to Crimewatch. It is not about audience figures, but catching the criminals. Surely if one creep is off the streets, it would be worth it. One less old woman robbed in her home, woman raped, armed robbery etc.
This show is an ICON!! I can't believe they don't do it anymore!! I'm from the US, but for a show like CW, that was helping people all over the UK, I can't think of any reason why they'd take it off the air. That's crazy. I think the cops AND the public benefited from this show! I'm from the US, & I've always dreamed of one day, living in the UK. Since the reality of that is quite NIL, I've had to live vicariously through shows like this one, lol...So sad they've taken it off the air!!!
Fact about Kirsty Young - her husband was in New York on 9/11 reported to her over the phone (she was at ITV at this point and was the host that day) about the collapse of the Twin Towers. I will always know her from Crimewatch though
Kirsty Young and the team work with the police to appeal for help in cracking unsolved cases and bringing criminals to justice. Stories include the hunt for the Egham sex attackers and the have-a-go hero stabbed in a bank. 9PM Monday 15th December 2008.
first one - 'his eldest daughter died tragically during the night', that's not relevant to the robbery i know but it's a completely unsatisfactory statement.
I much prefer the presenting styles, of Nick Ross, Sue Cook @ the late Jill Dando. These later editions, appear to resemble some sort of flashy magazine celeb programme, rather than the serious issues which are being discussed and i really do not like Matthew Amroliwala's glib way of reporting these horrific crimes!
Munley was so cold he flogged al the lady antiques to a place called Acorn Antiques (no Im not joking) just a few hundred yards down the road from Miss Barness home. A really dangerous man with absolutely no empathy,, In every sense of the word a psychopath
It's not victim blaming...its just keeping oneself safe, stay in lighted areas that you are familiar with,if scared knock on a door, the poor woman its awful and yes,she should be able to walk wherever she wants, wearing what she wants, whenever she wants but there are predators out there one must teach their children to do this as adults... Precautions whilst out because as I said there are predators everywhere
@@ianhunkin5384it's victim blaming we all know the highest percentage if these rape/murders are by the men in the woman's life. So she's much more in danger in her own home with someone she knows/loves. And that triples if she becomes pregnant. The issue is men. You are less likely to be attacked in the scariest darkest loneliest lane than in your own living room. You can say avoid this avoid that. It doesn't change the risk factors in her life. It just puts her in a place where a dangerous man is standing. Everyday women walk passed them. I understand where your comment comes from. It just completely ignores the point and factors to ever stopping this. If we keep focusing on where women shouldn't be then it will continue. Bad men do bad things. It's that simple.

Same here
because crime isn't scary anymore?
Don't have nightmares - do sleep well 😂😂
thanks again for posting... these later one with there use of music and the way they are filmed are more like entertainment that crime detection
They're showing in plain sight that "law and order" is all a big show.
The only perfect judge of everyone's guilt or innocence, is GOD - NO ONE else.
Poor family - lose your daughter and then be attacked by robbers.
