DIRECTOR'S BIO: Lia is an Irish-German filmmaker working in fiction and documentary. A graduate from the IADT National Film School, Dún Laoghaire, her previous work has reflected on national identity, isolation, gender roles and how we define belonging. Now a BFI Academy and NFS graduate, Lia creates a mature and inspiring film focused on Irish multiculturalism and female fertility.
