As an Australian, I feel so sorry for all the sane Americans like yourselves; I teared up when I found out trump won and I’m not even an American 😂 It’s just very concerning for the world as a whole due to the US’s geopolitical influence but I can’t imagine how it must feel for you guys! I am 69 years old. Throughout my adult life, there's been moments where I felt things were weird. But never ever did I imagine things would be like they are now! The most ludicrous things are occurring, seemingly without any resistance. I feel like I'm either in an extended dystopian nightmare...or I am living in a movie where the script has turned bizarre.
I’m honestly so terrified right now of what Trump’s going to do to our country, especially the effects of his tariffs on the economy. I’ve worked SO HARD to get to the point where I’m not living paycheck to paycheck anymore. I’m finally happy with my life. I don’t have a lot of excess, but I get by comfortably and sometimes if I manage my money carefully enough, I even have money for fun little extras. This is the first year I can afford to buy Christmas presents for my family and not end up sobbing on the floor in fear that even the cheapest gifts will completely clean out my bank account. This is the first year (of my adult working life, anyway) that I’ve lived without pinching pennies, frantically doing math in the grocery store, and obsessively checking my bank account after every single purchase to make sure the balance isn’t a negative number. The first year when an unexpected vet bill or car repair didn’t send me into a panic attack. And now I’m horribly afraid that it may be the last. I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked for. I don’t want to go back to the point where paying an unexpected $100 (or even $50) completely cleans my bank account out. I worked so hard to get to a point in my life where I wasn’t perpetually broke. And now it feels like that was all for nothing.
Please let me encourage you. (This is an area in which I have some years of personal experience.) A realistic plan for your finances is what you need here. Get paper and pencil, or use a spreadsheet if you want, and figure out what you absolutely have to spend every month, and what you can get by without. You may be surprised at how little you actually need. Try to set aside money for emergencies. Regarding gifts, you might find that something you make yourself will be more appreciated than something you buy, at least by the people who love you.
Since you asked for feedback, I have a suggestion. We do need more positive and wholesome content to get us through these next 4 yrs, so I would like to suggest at least maybe the last few minutes of each show or maybe as it's own video, something akin to what Some Good News was during the pandemic (man, I miss that show). Include a faith aspect to it, because there is so much good happening out there as well and we need more progressive voices bringing attention to it as well. Just my 2 pennies! Keep up the good work.

I have a story about the onion. The Onion started in Madison, WI. During the time I was living there and the Onion was still headquarted there, a job came open at the paper (this was before they were more then just an upper midwest thing) and I applied. Alas, I did not get the job, however, I applied because I was a fan. I have always been and will forever be a fan of the Onion. The sale is being contested, so I really hope it goes through!
That whole story is so ironic because it sounds like a story The Onion would write! We truly are living in the most absurd timeline and I don't know how to feel about it.

@Lia46728 Oh yes! I would be 100% for a more direct democracy where we elect every government official. I'm just not sure how many people would participate.
I think that people on the left tend more to believe in the separation of Church and state. They don't use their faith to argue political subjects or intimidate their opponents. My spiritual pastors never brought politics into the church nor told me who to vote for. But I love you guys, because it is refreshing to hear believing Christians hash out these incredibly serious issues, and have a sense of humor.
We Democrats stayed true to our values and our vision. It's the Republicans who went off the rails and the country followed them. Why would you blame us? We didn't vote for Trump.
Yes, so much hand wringing about what the democrats did wrong. And we should learn from our mistakes. But ultimately the people made their choice, and they CHOSE demagoguery
You are the first ones I've heard talk about special education. Most don't understand that special Ed is mandated and funded solely by the federal dept. Of education. Can your community ir state take over that funding. Will they maintain that mandate. Not that many years ago ( in some of our lifetime) many kids with disabilities didn't get an education. Can you imagine finding a private school that will take you child with down syndrome or blindness, deafness etc. How will those families afford that kind of specialized education? This is just one item that could affect you or your neighbor.
my biggest frustration is that these conversations should have been started in 2010 during the online Culture war , and no later than 2016 when trump first go elected. the chronically online have been saying this for that long. trump was has been and still is a meme president, a sh&tpuppet. it sucks being correct these last 12 years. i do not like being correct, because what i say is often seen as pessimist instead of being addressed. and if what i say comes true it is a bad thing, i do not want to be correct. ( which here it is again, another election. a worse election this time becasue they are emboldened)
just found y'all a few weeks ago. I'm not really religious but you two are a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! educational, informative, and entertaining ;-) thanks for the Hope, April!
Just finished Tim Alberta's "The Kingdom, The Power, and The Glory" fantastic.....and terrifying. One of Barack Obama's favorite books. A must read to know the history of Christians in MAGA.
I would love to see another podcast with Palestinians. I would love to hear more of that perspective. I’ve heard maybe two or three or four podcasts from you guys and they were all very enlightening. I also heard one on Bodies Behind The Bus from a Palestinian Christian, whose family had lost everything afterIsrael took over their home. This was very enlightening.
America may be facing some incredibly dark times soon--we will likely see the kind of cruelty the world has not seen for decades. It's scary--but it is good to have places like this to come to and not feel quite so alone.
I like that you have great chemistry and that you add an element of light-heartedness to your show. Maybe don't talk about your kids throwing up... but I digress, LOL!! All that aside, people need to relax and laugh. What is going on in our government is serious and people are legitimately afraid. Thank you for being here to give people comfort, make them laugh, and give us a sense that the world hasn't ended. Your show isn't Fox, MSNBC, CNN or ABC/CBS/NBC. But you provide a vital role in bringing the truth to your viewers that they don't get from other news outlets. You fill the gap when the major news networks have failed.
Hi Tim and April! I mostly listen to you guys on the podcast while I'm driving, but I also want to support you here. Donations just aren't in the cards for my family at this time, but I still want to try to support the work you are doing if I can. In several episodes you've mentioned recently that you'd like suggestions for content as you plan for TNE in 2025. I really enjoyed the inclusion of the Bible verses recently and think it's a great idea - highlighting passages often overlooked or abused/misused, considered "woke", etc. There are many experts out there that have written books and other content creators that have done the research that could share how to interpret/interact with the Bible in ways other than how the modern evangelical church in America has been doing it for a very long time. It could maybe be a good break now and then from the politics to collaborate with those working in that realm, possibly dismantling some of the misinterpretations of passages that have contributed to where we find ourselves now culturally and political. Another idea, since April mentioned she tries to be a glass-half-full kind of person even when so much is bad, is to include a moment/glimmer of hope segment where you highlight something still good in the world (joy is resistance). My last suggestion, since this is getting long, is to highlight voices of people doing the hard work of coming up with real world solutions to the problems we're facing. Calling out and holding accountable the things that need to change is important. Informing people with data driven, factual information regarding problems we're facing is important. However, I see a lot of content doing that, but not as much offering a tangible way forward to what would be better. Identifying what's wrong is only part of the process - figuring out what can be done to solve the problem is often the missing component. The difference in audience reach between right-wing influencers and others that you shared is eye-opening. Finding ways to elevate the voices on the other side, even without the same level of funding, is a major hurdle to overcome. Maybe there is a way to improve this together through networking and introducing each other's audiences to each other? Most on the left I've never heard of and most on the right I wish I hadn't. Thank you for what you guys are doing. Deconstructing has been a very lonely experience where I live. Your content let's me know I'm neither crazy nor alone. Again, thank you!
Your chart has Heather Cox Richardson as a left wing influencer. She may be that but she is a fantastic historian, truth teller and provides great analysis. A great source for REAL news.
Personal comment of Laura Botten: Oy! What a story Tim! When my daughter was 5 and my son 2, they stayed overnight at Grandma and Grandpa's, sharing the pullout couch. My daughter STILL at 23 remembers her brother's soother, followed by gross, smacking her in the face and waking her up. Poor siblings sometimes.
Unlike you two, I've lost faith in Christianity, but even when I was a believer I thought and still do believe that there must be an absolute separation of church and state. I say tax the church.
55:50 The "new world order" comment was so unsurprising to me as a German, it was almost boring. I heard Putin state that since the Ukraine war began. This is old news here in Europe already. The Americans did not listen.
I’m a newish audience member. Seeing Tim in contacts, I can’t help but wonder, if he added long hair to this look, could we effectively convince evangelicals to believe that White Jesus Himself has released a podcast to speak directly to them? Is this manipulative? Yes. Could it be an effective strategy??? Only one way to find out.
The only one of those progressive influencers I've heard of is Hasan, and I've heard of basically all of the right wingers, and I'm a communist in Latin America....... It's wild, the reach disparity.
Thank you guys for your wonderful and very much needed podcast. I love the idea of featuring a Bible verse! We must include the word of God in these discussions. I was listening to a podcast that explained one of the fears motivating Christian Nationalism is that Christianity will be wiped out if they don't act to save it. When I heard that immediately scriptures flooded my mind that state that will never happen. Jesus said His Kingdom will prevail and the gates of hell will not stop it. Another verse states that ALL the nations are but a drop of water in a bucket to God. In the book of Job God asked a series of questions to Job that makes it clear that God is supreme and beyond comprehension. And there are tons more. So, yes!! Let's remind the world what the word of God actually says compared to what people say who are ignoring or misrepresenting what God actually says regarding these issues. God bless and keep you. 🙏🙏🙏💗
Agreed, and I do think it's important to make it clear (if it isn't already) that this isn't just another leftist movement, but that we seek to honor God and love people in the best way we know how.
I'm glad y'all are here to be a soft landing, because I don't have it in me. Pages like yours and other similar pages had my ear towards coming back and engaging more with the Church. The election and solid support for the new administration by the Church has sent me sailing. All the horrible Manifest Destiny, colonization, antisemitism, and all the usual critiques came rushing to the top for me. If it walks like a duck . . .
Love your show. I tried to donate on your website and the donation buttons get lost in the long feed of donation comments. They really need to be at the top. I also tried to register and it wouldn’t save any of my information. I was on my phone. Maybe the website isn’t set up to see easily on the phone. Or maybe it’s operator error. Not sure but I thought I should let you know.
One thing I was reflecting on and that was the use of the word "repentance." For me, saying "I need to repent," indicates changing a behavior or way of thinking that is not a one-time or short time thing. Saying "I need to apologize" or "I was wrong about that," are both good alternatives. My intent is not to in any way trivialize repentance -- which often involves a lot of soul-searching and introspection.
The Big Picture with Larry Sandy Ragland is a show similar to yours in that it covers politics and faith from a Christian perspective but they’re different in that they are more to the right. But although my listening pallet is broader than theirs, they are my pastors and I’m proud for their success on their show. And I also love you guys’s show!! Keep up the great work.
This is directly from the televangelist playbook: Fear monger for 45 minutes, then beg for money so you can fight against the bad guys. This isn’t “new evangelicals”, Tim. This is the same old song and dance
Regarding podcast suggestions: Jessia Denson's podcast Lights On. Regarding revenue for the show: Maybe Tim could contact the makers of that blueberry coffee and get them to sponsor the program. Seriously. He's talked about it so much on the show, I want to try it! :) Is there a way for people to make it at home?
I joined the facebook group one thing thats not only prominent on x but also facebook is these far right groups its hard to get progressive christian memes thats something that is very much needed to counter the far right christian nationalism because these church going people are using scripture to attack the left and because many on the left have abandoned all faith because of the damage that hate has caused so yes we need people to be making memes that can give a christian based alternative view on issues with scripture or theological facts
Dear April, do not despair - we do not have 7-11 in Springfield, Missouri either. But - we DO have wal mart, and they sell great value blueberry coffee!!!
Verse suggestion: John 10:14-16 "I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd." In the time it was written, this was probably correctly understood to mean that gentile Christians were just as Christian as Jewish Christians. I propose that it is equally correct to understand it today to mean that (a) all who hear and follow Jesus, regardless of what they believe about him, and (b) all who hear and follow Christ as the connecting/redeeming personality of descending grace revealed through any name/tradition, are to be accepted as siblings in Christ.
Big thx to all those who contributed those small 10, 20 , 30 dollar donations to the Harris campaign who could ever imagine we would ever achieve 1 billion. Going up against mega donors like Bezos and Cuban the Harris campaign still out raised Trump with just small donations from regular people. I still can't believe we lost when all the numbers were on our side? Was it fixed?
I love Tim(othée Chalamet), but his taste in coffee is terrible. 7-11 coffee is weak as hell. It's only good if you're out and need a cup of coffee and it's the only place around. I don't know if Chock-ful o' Nuts exports to the UK, but if they do I recommend their Cuban Blend that you make at home. Cafe Bustelo is a good substitute which I'm sure you can get there.
The Bible says that nation will rise against nation. So BEFORE the so called new world order there will be a movement of nationalism. And it is happening. Matthew 24 4 𝐽𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑: “𝑊𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑛𝑜 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢. 5 𝐹𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒, 𝑐𝑙𝑎𝑖𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔, ‘𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑎ℎ,’ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦. 6 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑟𝑢𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑠, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑒𝑑. 𝑆𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒. 7 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑑𝑜𝑚 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑑𝑜𝑚. 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡ℎ𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑣𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑠. 8 𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑓 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠. Notice Jesus starts with a warning to not be deceived. Then he speaks of a Messiah, which literally means "chosen one" which is what Trump is called. Then he speaks of nationalism. All this comes before the leader of the world emerges. By the way "Donald" means "world leader" or "world wielder". Creepy!
Personal comment of Laura Botten: I had heard that Peace in the Middle East came before Jesus comes back. Maybe they mean "peace" because everyone except the Jews are gone?
Here are a few of the sane Christian channels that I have started following over the last couple of weeks and months. @Rev Ed Trevors @PastorChrisRN @The Convocation Unscripted @Culture, Faith, and Politics @The Holy Post
I'm subscribed to every one of those channels and recommend them highly!!! Scripture-based and supported, thought-provoking, and done in a very non-confrontational way.
Thanks for the recommendations. As I wrestle with my own faith and what I truly believe, I'm encouraged that there are more reasonable Christians out there living out their faith in a more honorable way. I'll have to check them out.
What do you mean we've had majorities, and we haven't done anything?! Is the economy now better than 2008? Better than 2020? I'd say resoundingly, yes. Dems don't get it all right and have failed in some major ways. But how much progress are we expected to make when we keep getting handed ruined economies and are punished when the economy doesn't recover overnight?
@chaosqueen4812 I don't think that they actually did. In the Obama era, many more Dems were "pro-lifers." I imagine that the same was true in the Clinton era, but I wasn't old enough to be meaningfully tuned in to politics at the time. So I won't speak definitely about it. Personally, I'd also take the ACA over Roe as a priority, considering that we had no way of knowing what would happen with the court at the time. As a person with a congential birth defect, the ACA has been a life saver for me (despite not going far enough).
My dad told me one of the reasons he's voting for Trump is because Harris would pull us into a one world order and that Trump will protect us from that... I stared at him in shock. I had no words.
💜For someone that is at the intersection of Christian faith and politics, check out the Benjamin Dixon show. He is also a pastor. He might also have suggestion as to others who fall in similar intersections.
Omg!!! Reformed Reconstructionists!! That’s what our local Windsor Ontario cult leader is!! Former Baptist pastor Aaron Rock, whom I’m now refer to as the Windsor Cult Leader, now has a label. Aaron Rock is the Joshua Haymes of our city. It’s so depressing. It frightens the crap out of me, and we’ve lost a lot of friends to this movement. They are ready to fight the big fight here in Canada; and have recently praised God for Trump being elected (we are a border city across from Detroit). I have a feeling he’s big into Doug Wilson as well. Aaron scares me immensely. His fun podcast has now just posted the 6th episode on sexual sins, so definitely a super fun kinda pastor
So well, put April about the end times and the Zionist and how selfish it is. Curious if you think people also voted this way at all… Thinking that they might be voting in the end times I don’t personally think so. I think they’re in love with him, but it’s a question that came up when I was doing research for my video series on why people voted the way they did.
Please do not overlook the end times belief influence, which long predates Trump. IMHO Most of his followers love him because they are convinced he is God's chosen and anointed vessel for bringing about the end times. And they vote for him religiously.
Highly recommend checking out "TheAnalysis-news" interview with theologian Matthew Fox -- where he speaks of his psychological book: "Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ." Illuminating.

trump was has been and still is a meme president, a sh&tpuppet.
it sucks being correct these last 12 years. i do not like being correct, because what i say is often seen as pessimist instead of being addressed. and if what i say comes true it is a bad thing, i do not want to be correct. ( which here it is again, another election. a worse election this time becasue they are emboldened)
just found y'all a few weeks ago. I'm not really religious but you two are a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! educational, informative, and entertaining ;-) thanks for the Hope, April!
Have followed you both for a while and love hearing your conversations!
Just finished Tim Alberta's "The Kingdom, The Power, and The Glory" fantastic.....and terrifying. One of Barack Obama's favorite books. A must read to know the history of Christians in MAGA.
THANK YOU TIM AND APRIL. YOU BOTH ARE AMAZING.
I'm so grateful I found this program... the 2 of you are wonderful...
Thanks....
PLEASE KEEP UP YOUR HIGHLY NECESSARY CHANNEL❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
April is like "Cryptids...cryptids...is that like bitcoin?" 💙
Reverend Benjamin Cremer is one of the people I found recently on social media that really hits a chord.
Mike Lindell is Trump’s pic for Surgeon General 😮
I saw somewhere someone saying Lindell will be the head of HUD because houses has bedrooms and pillows. 🤣🤣🤣
Your chart has Heather Cox Richardson as a left wing influencer. She may be that but she is a fantastic historian, truth teller and provides great analysis. A great source for REAL news.
April, your new book is on my Christmas list!
The individual states have processes for filling vacated seats in Congress. They are different from state to state.
I can’t wait for Dr Matthew Taylor’s interview!!!! 🎉
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL❤❤❤❤❤❤
55:50 The "new world order" comment was so unsurprising to me as a German, it was almost boring. I heard Putin state that since the Ukraine war began. This is old news here in Europe already. The Americans did not listen.
To be fair, some of us did listen, just not enough of the ones who voted this time.
Yes! Old rules need to go…there HAS TO BE a new way
the nazi party had its own infighting and chaos... immense harm was still done.
we need to resist like we have never resisted before in this country.
And this is why you lost..... Trump and his supporters are not racists or fascist or Nazis.
Thank you! I will help you this!
Circus is a perfect description.
@Amethystar Agreed!!
If it walks like a duck . . .
What do you mean by the Church?
I also started following Adam Mockler during the election 🗳️
A left wing moderate who try’s to influence people. He has a small following
😂 that’s a funny joke about buying a Bible from the antichrist
We are doomed 😞
The Big Picture with Larry Sandy Ragland is a show similar to yours in that it covers politics and faith from a Christian perspective but they’re different in that they are more to the right. But although my listening pallet is broader than theirs, they are my pastors and I’m proud for their success on their show. And I also love you guys’s show!! Keep up the great work.
“Wake up….there is a better way forward “
Not a similar format, but you might want to connect with Reverend Ed Trevors.
I really like the Voxology podcast. Mike Erre and Tim Stafford have helped me remain steadfast in my goal to be Christ centered.
This is directly from the televangelist playbook: Fear monger for 45 minutes, then beg for money so you can fight against the bad guys. This isn’t “new evangelicals”, Tim. This is the same old song and dance
So glad my kiddos are grown up. No more cleaning up puke.
Those river rats are super friendly n alot of fun. They love people. We call them Nutria.
Maybe blueberry WINE is needed more after Trump's win.
I watched "Jesus Camp" several years ago.... those militarized children are now adults...
Scary!!!!
I will donate monthly ❤
Amen Brother Tim! The Bible is clear.
The river rats story is hilarious. The let down!
Dear April, do not despair - we do not have 7-11 in Springfield, Missouri either. But - we DO have wal mart, and they sell great value blueberry coffee!!!
Did you mean Dear April?
Oh dear…..I fixed that!!! Was commenting on iPhone 😂😂😂🤣
Omg! Point Pleasant’s Mothman! I wanna go. Did Indrid Cold cross your path?
Verse suggestion: John 10:14-16
"I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd."
In the time it was written, this was probably correctly understood to mean that gentile Christians were just as Christian as Jewish Christians.
1:55 we don't have any 7Elevens in the UK either. Blueberry coffee sounds interesting.
Matthew 24

Notice Jesus starts with a warning to not be deceived. Then he speaks of a Messiah, which literally means "chosen one" which is what Trump is called. Then he speaks of nationalism. All this comes before the leader of the world emerges. By the way "Donald" means "world leader" or "world wielder". Creepy!
Ok I work for a Christian charity and I’m so tempted to low key add “James 5 1-6” under my email signature as a troll 😂
Personal comment of Laura Botten: I had heard that Peace in the Middle East came before Jesus comes back. Maybe they mean "peace" because everyone except the Jews are gone?
Here are a few of the sane Christian channels that I have started following over the last couple of weeks and months.
@Rev Ed Trevors
@PastorChrisRN
@The Convocation Unscripted
@Culture, Faith, and Politics
@The Holy Post
I'm subscribed to every one of those channels and recommend them highly!!! Scripture-based and supported, thought-provoking, and done in a very non-confrontational way.
I would add "Vote Common Good" ... run by Pastor Doug Pagitt and his team.
I love everyone of these! Love the sharing of resources!
Thanks for the recommendations. As I wrestle with my own faith and what I truly believe, I'm encouraged that there are more reasonable Christians out there living out their faith in a more honorable way. I'll have to check them out.
@@yabits thanks for the recommendation. I'll check them out.
Only a week and a half in? And not even inaugurated yet!
For the happy stuff, how about calling it something like “Thanks and Praise”?
Keep up the great work. April, you look great today! The nominees are so far sickening.
Says in the BIBLE that we need to PRAY for our leaders in government.
Omg I luv blueberry coffee and French Vanilla creamer! ☕️💙
Especially when the Republican lie machine drowns out left of center independent media and even the mainstream media... and intimate the MSM too.
Well, they f.e. had the chance to codify ROE into law twice: 1993/94 under Clinton, and 2009/10 under Obama, but they let the opportunities pass.
To understand how this sort of thing happens you have to understand the mystery of iniquity.
This is off topic slightly but what’s disturbing to me is how many working class people still believe he cares about them.
Isn't that how organized religion maintains power - by convincing people to believe without evidence, or even with evidence to the contrary?
Olivia! Is David Pakman! No TikTok for me. 😢
My dad told me one of the reasons he's voting for Trump is because Harris would pull us into a one world order and that Trump will protect us from that... I stared at him in shock. I had no words.
The Clown Car Cabinet!!! 🥳🤪🤡
Unless the subject matter interest me, I usually only watch your show when April is in it.
Wait how have you guys never heard of Hasan Piker?
So well, put April about the end times and the Zionist and how selfish it is. Curious if you think people also voted this way at all… Thinking that they might be voting in the end times I don’t personally think so. I think they’re in love with him, but it’s a question that came up when I was doing research for my video series on why people voted the way they did.
Please do not overlook the end times belief influence, which long predates Trump. IMHO Most of his followers love him because they are convinced he is God's chosen and anointed vessel for bringing about the end times. And they vote for him religiously.
@ i was part of the 2008 hype that made me believe obama was the antichrist. So i get it. But bot sure. Will see if anyone puts this out.
Highly recommend checking out "TheAnalysis-news" interview with theologian Matthew Fox -- where he speaks of his psychological book: "Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ." Illuminating.
Anglican priest I just shared with you, but he is in Canada.
I am a person that will get depressed with too much bad stuff. So maybe a happy segment with …. I don’t know happy stuff? ❤
If you are doing a verse of the week, I feel like you could find some gold nuggets from Jesus' "woe to you" bits in Matthew 23. 😅
I'm pretty sure it was mothman that caused all the sickness.🤷🏾♂️
Personal comment of Laura Botten: Ron Filipkowski and Anthony Davis!!! :)
