Use matte Mod Podge. Cut the strip and run it on the cut edges (paper side). Roll your bead and let it dry. You could use fabric glue, but it can dry glossy. It is denim. It looks better with age.

Haven't seen the paper backed denim. I will have to look for it. The beads are pretty and interesting to look at. Thank you!

Thanks Kelly, love the denim beads and can’t wait to see what you come up with in the design process.

Greetings and many blessings. I am a fan of the crafts that can be done with paper beads, and I love all your work. I have always had the curiosity and desire to be able to make a handbag with these paper beads. In fact, I've tried, but I haven't succeeded yet, hahahaha. Would it be possible that at some point you could work on this project? PLEASE, I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT... And thank you very much for everything you share with us.

Hi! I do plan on doing a handbag tutorial sometime. They take a long time to do. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I've collected a few photo's of fabric beads for future reference - not seen this type of denim paper before so something to look out for - nice tutorial - thanks Kelly :)

Hi Kelly. Love your tutorials. I picked up a package of ribbon strips and was wondering what you thought of trying that. Like the denim you did I'd be concerned about how well they'd work. I wondering if they will be too soft and smoosh together or would they stay put if I added a bead core. Also, I heard your comments about the shiny finish taking away from the denim look. How do you thin a flat (non-shiny) sealant would work? Appreciate your thoughts.
