- Soldiers from 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment have taken part in Exercise First Strike under sunny skies on the plains of the Magilligan Training Centre in Northern Ireland.
Their training aimed to enhance team cohesion and experiment with new tactics in preparation for Exercise Rhino Heart.
Rhino Heart, spanning two weeks in Germany, will mark the largest deployment of Army reservists in nearly three decades.

Great country Ireland is, very strong people. Greetings from Bulgaria.
This Is Northern Ireland, not the Republic of Ireland.
@ashwinstewart lots of people from the Republic join the British army
@@makeasylumsgreatagain864 very true, but the OP refers to Ireland the country, as well as the people.
@ashwinstewart oh yeah I see what you mean,my bad mate
@@makeasylumsgreatagain864cause they ain’t Irish they are British settlers that came to steal from the Irish
Is that Benone?
They are not 2 Royal Irish, the correct abbreviation is 2 R. Irish. I know the regimental hierarchy want to be Rangers again but it ain't happening
Correct only 1 Royal Irish are Rangers. All the home service Batts were private’s. They were always Royal Irish Regiment. We on the other hand many names over the years. until the amalgamation
We're using Starlink now? Elon Musk's privately owned network that he turns off if he disagrees with events? Great....
Practiced setting up tents😂
Good to see the Irish army!
Royal Irish is British army.
@@Blaidd7542 I know

@@joprocter4573 I know
@@alanmcmillan6969 So why did you say 'Irish army' when you knew it was the British army? Because you didn't know.
Having worked woth the reserve its depressing how poorly trained they are or how little training they get.
They where dangerous compared to the regular soldier
I'm working on a regular army base..and they are just as poor in standard terrible how the standard of the British army has dropped
Somehow you never hear about more diversity in the army🤔
Uniformity is strength
Starlink, what a joke
They should be staying here to protect our own people
😂😂😂😂
Dads army springs to mind
Zero discipline
Explain?
Bot alert 🤖
Rubbish
Sounds about right. British army running away and hiding. Professionally the best at hide and seek.
