Great horse but nothing in comparison to Frankle times prove that as a fact!
Frankel never ran at that trip so we will never know
I was at Belmont Park when he ran in the Breeder's Cup but it was late in the year and he got 6th. It was his last race. For me his half-brother Sea The Stars was a better horse and the best ever. Not even the mighty Frankel could have beaten StS because he always did enough to put every horse in the race behind him. Watch him beat 9 group 1 winners in the 2009 Arc and you will see just how good he was. Once StS went past a horse that same horse would never attempt to go past him again.

Yes sometimes it's not even which horse had the most energy left in the tank or class. I think they must intimidate each other or something.
Definitely some horses think I'm not racing him again as in STS or Frankel.
Like you mentioned STS regularly dispatched Mastercraftsman who in a short time was an incredible sire.
Sometimes it can be hard to pass that will to win on to your progeny.
Rest in peace. I wish you had been campaigned differently after the Irish Champion; the Arc was yours for the taking. Pity that Coolmore exploited you ruthlessly, leading to your early death.
Early death he was 24 years old he lived a great life I agree with you he should of run in the arc but no way he died early lots of horses dont make it to 24
