    0:00 - Intro
0:37 - What is reverse engineering?
2:06 - What are smart power meters?
3:26 - How do smart meters communicate with the power company?
    4:28 - What is a mesh network?
6:04 - You can query your current power use over the Internet!
7:00 - A smart meter can be commanded to disconnect your electricity

I want to know how I can send a signal to a smart meter and totally disable it. I’m asking this question for 100,s of millions of people fed up with being robbed.

Guessing the power company would notice that. -JC

You need to disable the fuses before the meter :) - there are usually some fuses that allow exchanging a meter.

      EMF pollution is a problem.
WiFi for instance helps most mould grow

Could always replace the resistor with a lower ohm and higher tolerance
    Let’s say 22 ohm with a 20% tolerance

Major hackers won't be targeting individuals they want a major hub personally I want be able to mask usage for a better bill

Being able to understand how these work is one thing, hacking it to steal power and screw everyone else is just plain theft. You would be a common thief and should be treated accordingly!

I'd agree, thought it seems he's the former and I'd very much assume he pays his power bills! -JC

I understand what you mean about being honest, but "and screw everyone else"? How is someone grabbing power free gonna hurt anyone else? I mean the power creators aren't being hurt, and the "providers" are just thieves charging many multiples of times what the power costs to produce and doing nothing but being greedy middlemen, so how is anyone being screwed? Or are you thinking tall poppy syndrome, "why should he have free when I have to pay" type screwed? Do people hate me coz I have spent a lot of money buying batteries and solar panels and hope it fails so they can't be screwed by me having free power instead of paying the power company? Just a strange bit of text you added there 'zall.
