but, here in Los Angeles they teach against nature, saying we can choose our preferred biology, disregarding obvious truths.
I really do not see that happening.
Even actual history is being rewritten, in favor of current malcontent dogma.
And of course, many of these Stoics were born in sub admired geographic locations, and ethnic backgrounds.
We must change our world, by making any changes within, and BY ourselves.
Because of these quotes..and that narrator's powerful soothing voice, am calm, I worry less, I am more confident, I am kinder and I listen more. Thank you.

Definitely needed this , I work in healthcare IT and It’s been beyond stressful but I still feel like a hero when I resolve an issue even if I’m not a front line worker.

I'm 51 years old I have lived a lifetime of psychological and emotional abuse inflicted upon me by my own mind and as I listened to this practical wisdom the only thing I can say is it where was this stuff 40 years ago

I truly love all these quotes and have bought several of the stoic books and audibles and find them most inspiring. That is until five minutes after listening to them I forget all I've heard and I find myself road raging over someone I've perceived to have done me wrong or fuming at some radio chat show host. Haha, guess I need to work on that gap a bit. Have a great day everyone.

All I have to say is I've been going through some pretty crazy and saying s*** in my life and every single time I listen to stoicism or listens quotes from past people who actually knew secrets about how to live life with meaning and purpose and happiness it always helps me get through those dark days
