    There is an interesting experiment / study going on involving a combination of B1, B2 and B7 that may prove to be highly effective against cancer/s. Can't wait for it to be published.

    SHORTER VIDEOS THANK YOU.I THINK THIS MIGHT BE MY DEFFICENCY THANK YOU , my nails have been soft and brittle ever since ive been unwell, I've also had constant candida and body odour, I've also had severe anxiety and confusion when taking alpha lipoid acid that no-one can explain. 5 years of searching might be over now.

    So, an interesting one... I have isolated neutropenia. It's usually moderate but has been more severe at times. Anyway, all the normal causes have been dismissed and it's categorised as idiopathic and benign. Fascinatingly, biotin supplementation completely normalises levels! Nothing in research relates the two so assumed something around gluconeogenesis feeding gylcogenesis given the quirks of neutrophil energy productions. Only issue is larger biotin doses make me extremely hungry and unsettled, which suggests it might be lowering blood sugar a lot as it's relieved by eating loads (fyi I'm not diabetic or anything and my hba1c is good).

    I eat a higher protein, lower to moderate carb diet and track my micros and macros daily. My biotin intake is very low and actually just started taking a half dose of Life Extensions biotin today.

    Hi Chris…Very much appreciate all 2:00 your very through deep dive into the in’s & out’s of Biotin‼️👍 Bravo‼️Job well done Mate. However, I’m struggling to find a supplemental biotin that is available/offered in some way as to more closely approximate the lower levels starting at 30 mcg’s and gradations on up. The smallest commercial Biotin supplement I could find was 300mcg’s (Solgar). Any suggestions or ideas and/or links?
    BTW..I found out I have a variant for Biotinidase insufficiency causing me to having a deficit of between 10%-30% according to my 23&me results. My blood work through Quest only indicated that my Biotinidase was in the low range on normal. Any thoughts on this and other options on obtaining more precise marker values, would also be much appreciated?

    I had to circle back to this, since taking a small amount more of biotin, while on a high protein diet, may have "fixed" my vision: I don't need to wear my glasses anymore, and reduced my knee pain, which I thought was a torn miniscus.. but could just be a uric acid accumulation..

    Thank tou for the video as we have a third child on the way, and lab testing ongoing. Can frying eggwhites be an adequate cooking method comparable to 4+ minutes of boiling, and how may eggwhites contained in protien suppliments compare?

    I had been taking two 10,000mcg caps (Bronson Nutrition, Ultra Biotin) daily for hair/nails.
    But your video caused me to rethink that so I cut back to 1.
    The directions say "take 1 capsule daily with a meal" so I was taking it it after my late meal.
    (I don't eat 3 meals a day, usually OMAD w/ a light no carb 'meal', cheese, pecans, or maybe a single-serving of 'Spam'.)
    I haven't noticed any negative effects.
    I do have asbestosis & COPD that has gotten worse.
    I was exposed to high levels of drywall sanding dust & I think that is the cause.
    I'm very interested in promoting healing & repair & general nutrition may be major factor.
    I'll subscribe for info relevant to my situation but I have your Cheat Sheet & covid info.
    Thank you again for all you do, your research is some of the most interesting I've seen.

    So you think most people need extra biotin, and the amount needed could be 3 times to 100 times the RDA more or something depending on ones genetic makeup? and any side effects of large biotin doses longterm?

    Can anyone think of a reason supplemental biotin might cause loose stool/diarrhoea? This happened consistently after taking 10mg and to a lesser, but still noticeable, extent with as low as 300mcg.
    There was a consistent improvement in stress tolerance but those benefits were soon outweighed by the changes in bowel habit.
    Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Are there different forms of biotin supplements or is it all the same?

    My total cholesterol was 328 on the last test (Jan. 2021), and 298 before that. I'm going to figure out if I'm one of those people who needs much more biotin. My mother lost almost all of her hair in her teens, had major health challenges, and passed away at age 59.

      Are your triglycerides low? my mom has a similar situation of high total serum cholesterol, I don't remember ldl and hdl. Normal triglycerides. I have no intention of giving her statins but we have been trying to lower it for years without success. Everyone is different of course. We are thinking of starting with vitamin E and niacin. Your experience with biotin is interesting!

    I took biotin but didnt see any benefit. Maybe i needed more. Or maybe i have no deficiency.
    It may be in my complex.

    What’s annoying about Chris is that he can be right about such tiny things, I can’t even argue… i used to try taking biotin and it would mess me up, then he said: it is likely that there is a metabolism error.. and I was like… damn guy.. g6pd. Fix that with some thiamin and some inositol, take biotin, and now I tolerate high protein better. At first I was like naww. But then it worked😂😂 🫡 put some respect on the man’s name
