The Dominican Republic is a happy country by nature, they love to celebrate life and the Carnaval is one of the top ones, in this video it shows the scenes of Cabarete Beach Carnaval, Cabarete is a well known tourist town located in the north coast of the Dominican Republic best known for being a Kitesurfing Capital, Surfing , windsurfing and the great restaurants right on the beach.
Its a celebration of freedom as every year Dominicans celebrate their Independence which is the 27 of February how ever in some areas (as la Vega) it goes as much as every weekend of the month of February, yup ! every weekend!!! - every weekend full of colors, smiles, and some pain since its tradition that anyone who doesn't wear a costume gets to have their butts slam by a hard ballon made out of the caws belly - I know what you are thinking , and don’t let that to stop you from the fun and Get to know the awesome Dominican culture its a fun experience specially if you are there with the fun set of mind and want to be part of the culture’s celebration.
