I found one of these atvs on its side in a dumpster a few years ago. I cleaned the carb and it fired up instently, and ive been running it for almost 3 years now
I have one of these, upgraded the engine from a 110 to 125, upgraded carb, jeted, both sprockets upgraded, new air shocks 1 inch bigger all around, and the biggest tires i could find and put some halo lights from a Harley on it.... super fun to drive.
Daughter took her taotao 125 through some brush earlier. Plowed through like a champ. Seeing her bashing around thumb buried and grin ear to ear was a serious proud dad moment!
i dont even use the choke on my chinese dirt bike, i got it tuned to the point it starts when i hit the button, take care of things and they run for ever, got it a yr ago, its a 2007 rebuilt it runs like a champ
I paid $550 for my sons. Bought it for him on his 4th birthday. Had it two years now and he’s definitely put it thru hell. Broke so many parts, but luckily you can find all the parts online. (Most of the parts he broke was metal material from hardcore off-roading that a typical 4-6yo probably shouldn’t be doing, but he does it. Kinda badass tbh) I’m 250 pounds as well and it’s super fun. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

This dude says it’s “grass that any atv would have a hard time getting through” I literally have taller grass on my mowed lawn. You’re supposed to keep the choke down when you start it 😂 as someone who has ridden 3 wheelers, quads, and dirt bikes for 4 years I can tell this guy is inexperienced. You often need to replace things like the carburetor and clean the air filter which is something you shouldn’t need to do that regularly ESPECIALLY on a 110cc atv. It should be ready to ride with little to none maintenance required. Anyway if you’re still reading this thanks for taking your time to do so. I’m just ranting a bit don’t mind me :)
Ya me and my friend had a friend and let's just say we persuaded him to sell his Chinese tao tao 125 quad for 100$ we messed with it for like 10 mins runs great and still does
lol I'm not trying to make fun of dude but if you lift the choke and then put it back down after a few seconds it's not going to be on choke when it needs to be choked you have to lift the choke and start the engine then when it's warming up and starts to idle lower you put the choke down choke will only work if the engine is starting but great video man I have one of these I bought that didn't run but I fixed it in about 2hrs after getting all the wires correctly connected and carburetor cleaned and it really has enough power it can do about 35mph up hill with 250 pounds it surprised me my 4yr old is gonna love this thing she it's a 06 and I paid 100$ 8 feel like it was too much but just figured I'd help out the guy selling it bc nobody wanted it bc they figured it was trash but it's worth it for my daughter definitely
Just wondering if you can give a update? I bought one brand new and my kids rode it for about 6 months and it fell apart. I ended up buying a 1995 lt80 2 stroke and there been running it for about 2 years now without a problem. I'm about to rebuild it just for prevented purpose. @@royjaber571 any 2 stroke I own I premix I do not trust the oil pump to mix my 2 stroke it just give me a piece of mind I run my two stroke 4 oz per gallon
@@royjaber571 I plug off the oil tank and I do not use it at all. I mix 4 oz per gallon in a gas jug and pour it right into the gas tank on the 4 wheeler. I do not use the oil tank at all.

Ok. I've owned 26 new Polaris atvs. I bought my 2 grandsons 2 brand new Chinese 4 wheelers. I bought a brand new Chinese 150 scooter. All three Chinese products were pure garbage. Nothing but problems. Not one problem with any of my Polaris ATVs. I just bought a new 2024 570 sportsman and love nearly everything about it. Not a fan of the new gear pattern. And Polaris isn't made in China. They are built in Minnesota where several Polaris factories are located. They build and machine most of their parts and components there. Sure I know some of the stuff comes from China but not nearly as much as Honda and Kawasaki Arctic cat. My best friend went and bought a new Chinese ATV in November of 2023, although I warned her they were garbage, she bought it anyway. I was correct. She had nothing but problems with it. When I bought my 2024 Polaris 570 in January, she went that same day and bought herself the absolute same bike as mine in a different color. She donated the Chinese ATV to a crack head that mows her yard occasionally.
Not saying your Chinese 4-wheeler is bad but typically most Chinese four wheelers don't have a really good stator so then when you try to go and start them they take a really long time because they don't produce a high enough Spark
My neighbor has a Chinese quad for sale, and I'm suppose to go over and look at it tomorrow, all she knew was that it said Baja somewhere on it, and it has full racks front-n-back, IDK why, butI 'm kinda dreading it in-a-way, she said that she gave $600 for it used, and they've only had it for a month, I have a feeling that she's in for a disappointment tomorrow. (that's probably what I'm dreading😖)

My kids got one from my neighbor for free he said the fule line was no good and had no key to it .. Now we installed a battery and new ignition and it runs like a champ
so what about a 38 year old and a 40 year old i have a kids china atv and i like it i am 38 and it will do 30mph and u can load 4 of them in one big truck bed grate for just driveing on back roads or with a cart hall your camping gear with our hafeing to carry everything i have a old one and i will be getting a new one and get a few other used ones for dirt road rideing and get this a brand new carb is only $18 bolt on put the trodel in and off you go i was shocked to see how well these china atvs are for the money and like i sed i will be buying a new one for me and used for other riders used at $100 is ok by me new at $488 is a grate deal
Chinese Atvs are good my neighbors pit one in the trash with a free sing so I went there and took it clean the carburetor and my kids ride it for 2 years without problems
anything last a long time if you take care of it i bought one of these Chinese 150cc back in like 08 payed like 800 for it and my kids rode they thing into the ground i bought a honda 250 and it lasted about as long the only thing is the honda i can go down to the dealer and get parts for it i have to wait a few weeks for the parts for the Chinese and the honda part seem to last a little longer
Those little Chinese ATV's are strong! They remind me of Crown Victoria's. My friend has one of those but with reverse, he's abused it and it still runs and rides perfectly fine!

If you aired down the tires a bit. Your sons atv would go even a bit better through these obstacles. Seeing as the tires are that hard. Much like a 4x4 truck. More give more flex better grip.

Theres nothing wrong with chinese bikes. Back in mexico i had a 200cc 5 speed utility bike and it never failed me. I never treated it like a larger displacement bike which is one of the factors they break down that and poor maintenance
Some people say in amazon from the reviews that it had broke. Parts or missing parts or it didnt wanted to work and the oil was leaking through this thing but I forgot the name but its 4.1 out of 5 so it's still good I guess some people are lucky
I remember i had one when i was little it was insane how many problems it had, then when i was a little bigger i got a 125cc. Dont ride it much now but its at about 4000kms no problems. These are hit or miss.

I liked the video man but that wasn't much for rough terrain i think most machines would have done that with ease hell most pedal bikes would lol but then again cameras make it hard to see the full detail of everything haha a real test would be sending it on an actual atv track that be a sight.
Idk if you still have this atv but we had one of those and we tightened the throttle screw all the way down and I was riding it at only about 5 mph and the front axle blew apart and flew me off the front almost landing on my head
Dude you must be kidding ! I fix a lot of these chinese quads and they have one of the best disc brakes that big companies like Honda or Yamaha only wish they could make better ! I'm 180 pounds and it's pretty impressive how it stops me compared to my Grizzly 600 that has shitty drum brakes !
The thing that sucks about Chinese products is they break down and stop working within like a year or less I know because I had one but for 500 dollars and for a kid it is definitely fun

WJ Handy Dad this is just a 110cc but you can always upgrade for a bit extra money if your on the larger side, it’s well worth it to get one that fits your size cause it makes it all worth the money and they’re so much fun 🤙
There actually decent. What you need to do is buy good hardware nuts bolts and lock washer everything and you'll never have a issue solid piece of shit after that. Motors run well but don't take as much beating as a Honda motor damn close. Really the only thing I hate is the wheel base it's so fn narrow makes it a bit unstable at speed and cornering.

Yeah man sucks bad . I bought him a 110cc Boulder . He loves it. We turned it all the way down and he cruises around smiling from ear to ear . But he still misses his big sister. No 4 wheeler will replace that. It's good for him to have fun and it does take all our minds off of it . Temporary anyway . Thanks and God bless you and your family.

Ive had a very similar looking chinese atv and ive had it for yearsss now, its 48cc and can go over 50kmh
50 kmh is slow
@@YoungBamily its pretty decent for an atv of this quality and at this displacement, its also closer to 60kmh, more than what a lot of 50cc scooters can do
Theres nothing wrong with chinese bikes. Back in mexico i had a 200cc 5 speed utility bike and it never failed me. I never treated it like a larger displacement bike which is one of the factors they break down that and poor maintenance

Some people say in amazon from the reviews that it had broke. Parts or missing parts or it didnt wanted to work and the oil was leaking through this thing but I forgot the name but its 4.1 out of 5 so it's still good I guess some people are lucky
I remember i had one when i was little it was insane how many problems it had, then when i was a little bigger i got a 125cc. Dont ride it much now but its at about 4000kms no problems. These are hit or miss.

I went to that website powersportsmax. And bought two atvs. They quit running before we even ran one tank of gas through it. Junk. And customer service sucks

I liked the video man but that wasn't much for rough terrain i think most machines would have done that with ease hell most pedal bikes would lol but then again cameras make it hard to see the full detail of everything haha a real test would be sending it on an actual atv track that be a sight.

Idk if you still have this atv but we had one of those and we tightened the throttle screw all the way down and I was riding it at only about 5 mph and the front axle blew apart and flew me off the front almost landing on my head
Dude you must be kidding ! I fix a lot of these chinese quads and they have one of the best disc brakes that big companies like Honda or Yamaha only wish they could make better ! I'm 180 pounds and it's pretty impressive how it stops me compared to my Grizzly 600 that has shitty drum brakes !
The thing that sucks about Chinese products is they break down and stop working within like a year or less I know because I had one but for 500 dollars and for a kid it is definitely fun

Im going to give it to my son next sat for his 8th birthday.im 180 lbs & i had it pegged out on pavement it would only hit about 15 mph.is it because of the weight or have u experienced the speed limiter?
I'm looking on the website right now, according to them, all of their ATVs have max weight limits between 143lb - 198lb. I weigh just under 260lb :(
WJ Handy Dad this is just a 110cc but you can always upgrade for a bit extra money if your on the larger side, it’s well worth it to get one that fits your size cause it makes it all worth the money and they’re so much fun 🤙

There actually decent. What you need to do is buy good hardware nuts bolts and lock washer everything and you'll never have a issue solid piece of shit after that. Motors run well but don't take as much beating as a Honda motor damn close. Really the only thing I hate is the wheel base it's so fn narrow makes it a bit unstable at speed and cornering.

Yeah man sucks bad . I bought him a 110cc Boulder . He loves it. We turned it all the way down and he cruises around smiling from ear to ear . But he still misses his big sister. No 4 wheeler will replace that. It's good for him to have fun and it does take all our minds off of it . Temporary anyway . Thanks and God bless you and your family.

- I just bought one of those Chinese 110cc for our 4 year grandson for Christmas. He wont be able to ride it until the spring because we have way, WAY too much snow up here in Northern Ontario Canada! Today is December 20th and we already have at least 2 feet of snow on the ground in Sudbury...lol
