I woke up this morning with this song singing on repeat in my spirit. I had to look it up because I couldn't remember all the words. It's 21 March 2024, thank you timeless Almighty God!
Wow. March 21st. On February 17th, I prayed for direction in my life and God said, "Follow the Saints". It took me a while to figure it out but I started taking pictures of churches and now I am going to make a book. On March 21, I walked up to a church sign with a cross on top and before I took one photo, a bird 🐦 landed on top of the cross.
since i woke up this morning I have been hearing the echoes of this song in my spirit, but couldn't tell which song it was. The more i tried to ignore it, the louder the echo got. I couldn't function this morning until I silenced everything around me. Then I heard a sentence to the lyrics. It took me half a day to locate this song. I'm here. God is good
I had a somewhat similar experience. I just kept a line of the first verse and it could me a whole to get here. But I knew the song a long time though.
I am 82 years old, and I have always known Jesus as my Lord. Over those many years, I have strayed in my actions, and I am deeply sorry for that, but I know in my heart He still loves me and watches over me and my family. BELIEVE, in HIM, be contrite over your trespasses, and he will always shelter us from His, God's, wrath. BLESSED BE THE LORD.
I heard this song for the first time 2 weeks ago and can't believe it is 13 years old! This is another evidence of the timeless nature of God. Words can't describe His awesomeness.
There are many great hymns that we sing in church ( up tempo with a band ) that are 80, 90 even 100 years old that are timeless, just like the Bible! God bless you 😊.

Im clearly missing sonething. How is it that so many people give everything for God, and im here, after countless hours of praying, crying, screaming and shouting. Been broken to a point if conplete defeat. Still cried out to God to be ripped to Him. But nothing... am i missing sonething? Is my dark past keeping ne from Him? This message is out of desperation.

With time it'll make start to make sense, the things we go through in our christian journey don't always make sense. God may be testing us at times before He elevates us to greater places and during such seasons He feels far away and yet He's closer to us than ever

There is a devotional book out called "Jesus Calling" and it is written in a form that is Jesus speaking directly to you. I have found it to be immensely helpful and extremely comforting. It has scripture to back up every page of it. Check it out if you can. I think you will love it. It makes me realize just how close He is to all of us!
This was the sixteenth Jesus Culture I've been to.. My second year as a BSSM student, And the worship during this conference completely wrecked my world. Aaah. So unbelievably good!
It's a pity Jason, your missing out on the most important part. This music might be beautiful, but to know Jesus The Son of God is infinitely more precious and beautiful. Trust me when I tell you, Jesus will never fail you, never give up on you. He is slow to anger, and His mercy is never ending. You can take all your burdens to the Lord, take all your shame and all your hurt. The most wonderful thought that I have today is that even though the world is in such confusion and chaos at the moment, God is above it all, and He is in control of my life. With that thought I do not fear death or illness. My family is save and in His hands. (Luke 11:5-13) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: I promise you Jason, you will not be disappointed. The God KING is coming back soon, and every eye will see Him, and every knee will bow. His majesty is unquestionable, and when He laid down His life for you on Calvary your very face was the reason he suffered all that pain. May you find Christ Jesus; Jason, I will pray for you my brother. And just maybe... when we walk through That Gates, I will see your face there. And you will say.. You were right my friend, Jesus is amazing!

So awesome, sometimes we claim we know God but in true we only know of Him. Our relationship with Him is distant, we hear of Him, we go to church, we know how everything goes, but we never encounter Him. Our one desire should be truly knowing God, seeking Him with all we have, all we are. God is worthy, we were made to worship Him and only Him

I clicked "LIKE" and noticed 2 dislikes. I couldn't believe it. How can you dislike songs of worship that leads you to the Throne Of God. If you don't like it....don't vote...ok. Until about 4 months ago, I had never heard of Jesus Culture. We now sing some of it in Church worship. They have some great songs....I love the words. This one is awesome too. I clicked "LIKE" and noticed 2 dislikes. I couldn't believe it. How can you dislike songs of worship that leads you to the Throne Of God. If you don't like it....don't vote...ok. It's almost like you are dishonoring God.
