- Fortnite came out almost 6 years ago, and it has been 5 years since I first reviewed the game! So I thought it would be a great time to discuss Fortnite again! Now, enjoy another re-review in this episode of "For Noobs!"

It's crazy how much can change in 5 years. I started playing Fortnite during season 3 in middle school. Now I'm going to graduate from High School and go to college. So much can happen in such little time.

Personlly I'd say the same.
Seasom 1>3 were bangers.
Season 4>6 were bangers but less than 3 to 1.
After season 6. Everything just came down. Especially season 8 9 and 10.
The release of chapter 2 s1 was also op. But. That died down in like. Half a year?

I came back to Fortnite a few months back. I haven't played it since season 10. So it's been a solid bit. But holy crap was it amazing to come back to. Although the bots caught me off guard because I was surprised to see that it was really easy to win at first; the skill based matchmaking soon kicked in, and then I started having even more fun with the challenge that I missed.

@@rozer_mac19 this could apply to any game, but this applies to Fortnite a lot in particular.
Leave your honor at the door in regards to your tools at your disposal. If it's in the game, use it. It doesn't matter whether something is "cheesy" or stuff like that. Same thing applies to other people in the game. Everyone plays a different version of Fortnite than you do. Some play to win. Some play for the sh**s and giggles.
The baseline of this is that it's just a game. Go do whatever you feel like is fun TO YOU. Now this is more of a mindset than like a specific thing within the game, but I feel like this is probably the most important thing I tell people to remember when playing any game really.

I started in chapter 1 season 4. Season 5 was definitely my favorite because of Ragnarök and Paradise Palms. I just wish there was a zero-edit mode so I could play the Fort part of Fortnite casually.

Last time I played this was when it came out, I played it again last year during lockdown and was so confused with so many new items that I had no idea what they did and I even wondered if this was a battle royale anymore
I still remember my first win on Fortnite and my loadout, my squad absolutely carried me but it felt so good. I have so many memories of playing with my friends and I such nostalgia for this game
First Season was C1S2, favorite is C3S3, and the biggest improvement is Zero Build. As someone whom rarely builds, the Zero Build was really nice when I came back the game 3-4 years after I first played. Although the funny thing is I annihilate friends and friends of friends that do nothing but build, but I usually don't build a single wall.
Zero build is absolutely the best thing they added
I've been playing this game almost everyday since the beginning and I remember when I almost gave up on it because building and editing were just getting much for me
I play fn since the very end of 2018, that was ssn 7 of the first chapter. and I still play it time to time! amazing how epic managed to keep up with their audience.
So much memories and so much fun. This game has really something for everyone
I’ll never forget S4-S5 in Chapter 1. I just watched the new DanTDM, IballisticSquid and a few other channels that I knew at the time of the new chapter and it looked amazing. It took 2 days before I could play it as it didn’t update while I was at school and none of my friends had it until the late point in the night before me. It felt amazing to just play with the skins and the honestly charming graphics that made it feel cleaner than the unbelievably high graphics today. Skins were hard to get as you had to convince your parents it was a noteworthy future investment, which is why me quitting in Chapter 2 Season 5 and only returning partially in Ch2 S8 must’ve been like a Wall Street Collapse as your 3 Year Investments vanish overnight. But this modern Fortnite is unbearable knowing what was before. Call it nostalgia, call it a madman hanging onto the past, but I’ll never forget Lucky Landing, Lonely Lodge and OG Tilted Towers, the place you’d go at the start of the season so no one else was there. It’s too hard man, you can only do it with friends as solos is just frustrating as you are overwhelmed with so many options for guns, needless mobility etc. Say I’ve gone mad if you want to, but Fortnite truly has gone mad with cash grabs and overwhelming amounts of items, half of which are useless. So yeah, it truly has killed itself.
I haven't played Fortnite like AT ALL, but I gotta give props to Epic Games man. Fortnite is EASILY the best game when it comes to adapting to the times. It always keeps itself fresh for the audience while still being fun to play. I find myself watching some streams sometimes even though I have no clue what's happening😅
The second half of chapter 1 to the first half of chapter 2 is the point where the game peaked. During that time all seasons had an overwhelming amount of personality, I can't exactly pinpoint why but the game just felt so awesome in that period.
Yep ch1 s5-ch2s2 was amazing. And same I can't really point why but it def is and its not just nostalgia.
Nah s2-s4 was def most peak from a gameplay perspective, people were terrible and building and was mainly just used for quick cover, double pump was in the game and the map was at its best imo

@@Bubbagaming90000 Those seasons were excellent! however I think people are way too harsh on chapter 2 (especially the first half of it). Nothing can be as iconic as chapter 1 but the astronomical differences chapter 2 brought were so welcomed and surprising that, in my opinion, it deserves a lot of praise as well.

Been literally playing Fortnite since season 1 and my favorite change has to be the ODM gear, it’s so fun!
I started playing fortnite in season 9. For me personally every season has been my favourite. I just love how fortnite keeps up with the updates and always brings new ideas, which always hypes me up!!! Thanks for making this video man, it has really been a long way with the best memories to carry with us.❤

I started in chapter 2 season 2 and I'm really loving the latest season. The cyberpunk futuristic theme is amazing. I love how casual the game is, its a nice change of pace to play if im getting frustrated in apex

I’ve been playing regularly since season 3. Still to this day my favorite online multiplayer game of all time (I even have the same birthday as it). It certainly gets updated more than any other online game I’ve played. I’d say my favorite era was seasons 5-9
I started in c1s4 and my favorite season is c2s2 the agency and vault, bosses were all just so fun playing with friends

I have played since C1S4 and man the memories. For years I would come home and the only thing I'd play was Fortnite, fr. For a long time I really didn't even have other games on my console. I literaly bought a PS4 to play this game and boy, it changed me forever.
I played ever since season three, and nothing ever topped the amount of fun I had in chapter 2 season 2.
There were so many changes, and so many other factors keeping the game fresh!
I haven't been to Japan but can confirm..."it's just like Fortnite"

I started playing Fortnite at the end of Season 5, and I’m still playing it. My favorite season is purely for nostalgia though which is season 6, the first season I could experience in full. I love the addition of melee weapons, the colabs, crafting (when it was there), and most importantly, the John Wick skin.

been playing since before the original season 1, i have seen this game evolve and become more than the sum of its parts, yeah ive taken breaks for certain seasons i just didnt enjoy or got burnt out with but i dont think i'll ever truly be able to leave this game with how much time ive put into it, also chapter 1 season 6 was hands down the best season, the whole thing with the cube island was great and it has been brought back into the game multiple times, safe to say everyone liked season 6

While I don’t play it anymore I have to admit that FN is one of the best games made in recent years solely due to their updates. They’re so frequent and it keeps the game fresh
It's been quite a ride. I no longer play videogames as I used to but every now and then I get to play Fortnite with my best friends as a way to hang out since we are all apart from each other and always have a blast with everything Fortnite has done over the years.
Fortnite has definitely changed.
But the intro got me dead.
Started in C1S4, favorites have been C1S8 (Pirate Season), C2S2, C2S4 (Marvel Season), C2S7 (Alien Season). Ever since zero build, I feel like there's only sweats in Build. Anyone could win a game before without building, but if you play with builds now, its hard to do that.
A macro video makes my day better always.
First season I played was Season 9, now I have to say the most fun I've had by far is S12 - S14 tbh. And I love the spiderman grapplers

The Storyline is actually like really big and theres a reason to follow it. It’s jusy complicated. And no the Rock was never the villain.
But man I’ve stuck around for 5 years now playing a lot maxing out every pass, and honestly Fortnite has never been better then it is now. This game has changed so much and I’m so glad I’ve kept playing its been a bunch of fun. I really love this game and I hope its here to stay for much longer.

I started playing the game right before season 7 started and haven't played it for a while now, it was a lot of fun.
I'd say that my favorite seasons were 8th, 9th, season X and the second season of the second chapter.

I started in season 2 and played throughout the first chapter but stopped playing before the end of chapter 2. I see all the great stuff they add and I wanna play but I have no one to play it with because my friends have this prejudice against the game, not because they have bad memories, but bc of other opinions. Really kills me to see people judge a game without even trying it thoroughly enough for a couple of hours. People say u need 100 hours to say whether to say a mmo is bad, but I say u only need a couple days of a battle Royale to know the game and community. I played this game when it was on season 2, and ive never played it again, i just keep hearing it, and now seen this just surprises me
5:26 They actually only tried to do it once and it went horribly wrong. That was by far the most the community ever got pissed at Epic and they changed it extremely quickly. The change was them reverting building to be as slow as it was in OG Fortnite which is wierd because that same community was always complaining that they wish we could go back to OG Fortnite where the players werent as sweaty and building wasnt crazy (A lot of those same people still comment that to this day even though it already happened)
Cant wait till fortnite starts adding real historical figures in an attempt to brainwash humanity so I can finally know if good old Lincoln can take down Goku 1v1 😂.
I started season 2 chapter 1. Favorite season was season 6 chapter 1. It’s been a fun ride with ups and downs all over the place and even if I don’t like some changes it keeps the game fresh

I’ve been here since the original 4th season and and honestly og season 5 with the boys was some of the most fun we’ve ever had together, so overall og season 5 is my personal favorite
My favorite change is the added mobility options. The slide was just the beginning but now we got parkour! Basic parkour but it's parkour nonetheless. And I also heard rumors thatwall running may be added in the future. I heard that a very long time ago so take it with a whole block of pink Himalayan salt.
Other than that, no building is just amazing and better for people like me who don't like fighting against tryhards that build la Torre Latinoamérica in 4 seconds after you shoot em once. Hope that no building gets added to team rumble someday cuz it's my favorite mode

I started playing fortnite in late season 5. My favorite season is chapter 2 season 4, the marvel season. I loved it because of the superpowers and I just genuinely love marvel all around. My favorite change that they made was with the new battle pass system with battle pass stars so that you can choose what you want to buy.
I joined in chapter 1 season 1, my favourite season was chapter 2 season 5 and I loved when they added creative mode.
I have played non-stop from C2S2, so almost 5 years. I have played mostly Zero Build from the day it came out. My favourite season was C4S2. I loved Mega City, best POI ever. Also creative is great. Especially after Unreal 5.

Man, started playing season 4 and was so active up until the newer seasons. Almost sad I don’t like the game anymore, but I just can’t help not liking it. It was an era of my life I won’t forget, some of my greatest memories.

Unreal things happened and I won't lie I already miss previous seasons😢
I played back in the early access days when it was just a survival horror game, Fortnite: Save the world. Gameplay was hecking fun, but MY GOD, they locked progression behind loot boxes behind loot boxes aka llamas. It was super frustrating. There were 4 or 5 zones and different missions you could do in them and different micromanaging systems to make your character more powerful, and it was fun, but the good loot drop rates were so low i believe only 4% of the total population made it past the intro zone (level 5 i think) by the end of the PvE side, so while i miss it, Im perfectly alright with it not coming back. Fortnite BR isnt my cup of tea like apex, but im glad others are enjoying it and the devs are still working on the game they love.

I started playing with my friends in chapter 1 season 3 my favourite season was chapter 1 season 7 as the infinity blade was a call back to one of epics original games infinity blade which still remained to be my favourite game to this day. May infinity blade Rest In Peace you will be missed ( the games)

I've been playing this game consistently since season 3 5 years ago so it's safe to say I love the game. The game definitely is constantly improving with each new season feeling more unique than the last. Admittedly chapter 3 was pretty weak but chapter 4 has managed to pick things up significantly. The gameplay is still fun and, while it's not the greatest story, I love the game's lore and do enjoy theorising about it with friends. Chapter 2, season 7 definitely holds a soft spot in my heart though.
C1 s6... I miss the good ol days but it's cool to see how far it came
I first heard about fortnite during season 2, back when double pump was still a thing(CRAZY!), but could not play it as I didn't have a console, then when it came out on IOS, I went bananas. got it the first day. season 3 was great, and I've been playing it every weekend, from IOS to switch, to now playstation, from the first time I could get it. What a great game!
I started to play in chapter 1 season 3 when the game was ported to mobile. And my favorite season was chapter 1 season 6 for the single fact that it came out on my birthday and it was a good season.Fav big change was building being removed

I started playing when the remote explosives and guided missile were in the main map, like just before they added planes I think. Then I stopped playing until somewhere around when they added lightsabers... and then I stopped playing again.
Favorite change: No building (I mostly stopped playing because of that and came back because they removed it)
I started in playing in season 3(chapter 1 of course) and I’ve been playing it ever since, although I mostly play creative now. My favorite map change was probably one of the many from season X.(either Gotham City or Greasy Grove coming back)
I started playing in chapter 1 season three, and that is my favorite season. Such a good game.
Chapter season 2 was the one of my favorite seasons it was during Covid and me and my friends played for hours during quarantine
