- Assuming all configurations of a quantum system with a given total energy are equally likely, you can find the statistical properties of quantum mechanical systems. This is a deep topic, and this lecture just scratches the surface, but the distribution of particle energies for distinguishable particles, fermions, and bosons are given, and the path to their derivation as the most probable state is described. (This lecture is part of a series for a course based on Griffiths' Introduction to Quantum Mechanics. The Full playlist is at ruclips.net/user/playlist?list=...)
this entire series has allowed me to independently learn intro quantum amidst covid-19 school closures, thank you so much Dr. Carlson!!!
same here
Mr Brant we love your lectures and urge you to add the remaining part of the book as well.
Made it to the end! I've taken a few stabs at learning QM, this is the first time I feel like I finally understood a lot of the main concepts. Thank you for this wonderful series!
This entire playlist of "intro to quantum mechanics" lectures is arguably the best on the youtube of the subject. I'm so grateful for this material to be available to anyone online, and for free!!
30:15 Meanwhile at ETH, we're only half way through the semester and we're already here. fml
Great set of lectures. Thanks!
Awesome video series. I know this is nearly a 10 year old series but I would love to see more videos continuing quantum mechanics or other physics topics
Same!
Thanks very much for this series! I also hope that you will do a series for part 2. Many thanks!
Absolutely amazing series and an excellent final video, I’m personally a fan of statistical mechanics so I may be a little biased there but I think we can all be in agreement that this series was great. Thanks so much!
Thank you very much for this beautiful course!
Thanks for the course professor.
I have my midterm today and only just discovered this channel. It would have been so helpful earlier haha. Will definitely help for the final!
Tired: not at all. Happy: yes, and very grateful!
amazing series .thank you
Amazing lecture thank you
many many thanks to you sir giving us tohe lacturs
Hi Dr. Brant.
Thanks a lot for your great effort.
Are you going to add explanations for part 2 of the book (applications) soon?
+Hossam Chemist I suppose he got pretty well paid for it ;-)
sir give us more classes sir plz ue need your lactures verry much
Is Q related to the Neumann entropy?
In which lecture he discussed parity operator??
Any recommendations on textbooks fitting for bulding on the level that this lecture series leaves you with?

Salam alikom thank you so much Mr Brant you are the best
