I’ve seen several people share their Mariah Carey Golden Nugget record set and yours is the most specific. I also appreciate that you explain the sound quality of each record. So basically you’re saying the original black vinyl was the best sounding one right? My favorite songs have changed since 1997… Right now my favorites are “Outside”, “The Roof”, and “Fouth of a July”… honorable mentions are Butterfly and Whenever You Call.

0:38 the footage of the bridges is taken from the top of the original World Trade Center observation deck! Nice coincidence as Mariah's own film Glitter features several shots of the twin towers throughout. She truly encapsulated history right there.

My favorite albun of all time! I loved the video and the review. My favorite song is Butterfly. But I have in my heart a special plave for Fourth of July and Breakdown. I remember me a long time ago, with a terrible english trying my best to memorize the lyrics! What a good time.

Hello! I haven't noticed any big differences between the two pressings. As you mentioned, probably both were pressed from the same plate and likely at the same pressing plant. Thanks for watching! 😃
Gorgeous! I never got the OG pressing in the end as I managed to get all the reissues. This is my favourite album and I adore the packaging of the VMP versions. “It’s an anniversary moment, dahhhling!” 🤎
