- In this video I went hunting for vintage toys at the Goodwill Bins in Dallas and missed one of the most epic vintage toy scores of my life! It was like getting Gut Punched at The Goodwill Bins!
I had the opportunity to score a vintage My Pet Monster and lost out! I was heart broken!
Regardless I still had fun and ended up scoring something really epic! A vintage Masters of The Universe Bionotrops and a vintage Jake Rockwell from the Centurions!

I can’t believe there was a My Pet Monster at the bins! So sorry you didn’t snag it bro! I’ve been hunting for one for a long time now too.. But that was a nice score on the M. Bison street fighter figure. And nice grab on the MOTU Dino and centurions! 🙌

Oh my god! I saw the same my pet monster today less than a few hours ago while thrifting, and its nuts how you posted it with it on the thumbnail and brought it up again. Before today I was never aware of its existence, but that thing really sticks out.

Sorry you didn’t get my pet Monster. I would have fainted if I saw it at the thrift store. I can’t believe people are still getting rid of these vintage treasures as if it’s trash.That Motu dinosaur goes from $250 to $300 hundred US dollars here down under wish it’s $400 to $450 OSSY dollars. I’ve given up in this MOTU dinosaur so I’ve picked up normal dinosaurs and painted them so they can go with my MOTU collection. But it’s not the same. One day man maybe I’ll find it in a thrift store ( opp shop). What a great video good on you mate. Loved been able to see your collection it’s truly awesome.

@@80sToysRoc and I feel you're pain , my pet monster is also one of my main Grail items too find in the wild. Mine got chewed up in the 90s by my mom's dog. As a little kid I took him everywhere.

My oldest son had a "My Pet Monster" He got it on his Birthday (age 5 or 6).He played rough and loved wrestling with the monstet. He had the toy for a couple years It was almost Indestructible. I can image when you find one they are still in pretty good condition. At bin prices that monster might have been $10 out the door! You'll find him again or another Jazz worthy Iconic toy at the bins!!

Hi Burf! I just discovered your channel 2-3 months ago and it's become my favorite. So, I am assuming you always buy any toy from the '80s or before (assuming the price is right), some from the '90's if you are interested in the toy line, and any modern toy that you think is super cool. Is that an accurate description of your purchases? Sorry for the interrogation, but I am just really curious. It sometimes helps to offer trades or keep a few bills. I've traded a vintage ewok for a Jim Thome autograph, but I also paid $10 to a person so I could buy a vintage Castle Grayskull shell they found. Sometimes the convenience of on the spot money can get things out of people's hands and into yours.

Crazy goodwill bins find! Sucks you couldn’t get your hands on it, yeah definitely be a lot more aggressive and straightforward! People are crazy out there and it’s best to line straight across from the item your interested in then try to make hints towards your competitors, sometimes if it’s worth it you can trade or cash offer if they beat you to it! I go to the bin’s pretty often and it works for me everytime. Come with medium target bags (They are extremely light) stock up on valuable stuff and offer trades along the way with other resellers. Most people are willing to work higher ticket items! Best of luck to you burf and hope I can give the best knowledge! Big time fan of the channel 🔥

I know you really don’t do video games but I had a good video game score today. A complete boxed Wii and a boxed donkey Kong edition snes all for 125 from an estate sale. The boxed donkey Kong snes goes for around 500 plus, but I am keeping it as I love boxed consoles.

@80sToysRoc No, that is the rule around here. If 2 grab for the same item, it's a coin flip to prevent aggressive shopping. But they each have their own rules. If you get a hand on it, clamp on as tight as possible. Gotta match these people intensity lol
