@@Trueblue1061 I don’t but it definitely gets squeaky after cleaning. I haven’t descaled I use pretty good water and these higher end machines generally don’t need descaling
I backflush when i switch coffees (like once a week) just to stay clean. I also use the cafiza to clean my portafilter baskets and my steam tips! About 6g per liter (it says it on the bottle).
Nice video, simple and to the point! Subscribed. I am getting a Bianca soon and would really help a lot if you can do a descaling instruction video too! P.S. Is it just me or do you kinda look like Colin Farrell?
@@JoeyVaracalli I live in LA and water in our area is fairly hard. I don't mind buying water specifically just for the machine, but do not descale at all??
@@tzehuan if you have very hard water and dont use any type of filtration you may want to run that once a year but I would definitely refer to lelit generally these higher end machines they dont need much descaling only backflushing
@@JoeyVaracalli only thing I have is Brita filter, I descale once a year with my current machine (Breville Barista Express). If buying commercial water is better for the Lelit I definitely will do that. I will consult Lelit about it then, thanks! (But please do a descaling video still, lol)
You are absolutely correct. Just make sure that paddle is in the on position that’s really the only difference. I think I mention in the video that this is the same on any other e61 machine. If I didn’t say that I meant to
This is terrible advice. NEVER loosen the portafilter from the grouphead while the head is under pressure!!! This can result in scalding water spraying out. This is especially true if the backflush basket is installed in the portafilter!
I cannot recommend strongly enough against the technique displayed c.4.15-4.20 of this video. It is exceptionally dangerous as there is no manner of controlling the water flow and having it in even slightly the wrong place could cause severe burns. I burned the back of my hand quite badly using this method and I am well experienced in using and maintaining my Bianca. I am astonished that anyone would consider advocating for this as a safe method of maintaining an espresso machine.
Very nice video, to the point, you make it look so easy, superbly done and fun
Thanks very much Orin
@@JoeyVaracalli your welcome ☕️☕️😊
Do you find you have to lubricate your Bianca after every clean? Did you ever do a descaling video?

Very good practice to stay sanitary
Thanks Joe! This was very helpful for me.
No problem thanks for the kind comment
Thanks for this man!
No problem
Nice Video.
Would you consider doing one to remove lime scale build up as well?
Yeah I can do a descaling video
Really helpful, thanks!
Wow thanks for the kind comments rosie
Nice vid!!!! Just wondering do you lubricate the cam?
Maybe after a year but this machine only a month old
Do you preheat your machine before back flushing?
Yes most definitely
@@JoeyVaracalli okay good to know, thank you!
@@crawdaddyy no problem
perfect thanks...subscribed
Thank you 🙏
I have the same combination of Sette 270wi and Lelit Bianca. I like the combination. :)
It’s a pretty dang good match up especially for quick back to back shots since you don’t have to worry about weighing out
how to fix the stiff lever on this Lelit machine please ?
There is a screw u can loosen and a section you can grease as well
where i can get the black mat under your grinder?
Here is the link sorry I never put this in my description links I’ll do that soon amzn.to/3jhyZHn

Hello, is this applicable for Mara x? Or to any e61 group head?
Absolutely is yes

Colin ferral ill take it :) but as long as you use good water I really wouldn't recommend descaling the company says the same thing

I backflush until 20second, is that ok?
Yeah that’s fine
Backflushing the Bianca is actually not different than any other machine.

I hear someone talking in background but difficult to hear.
