Me too. It's going to need a ton of work, but I'm sure I'll get it going. First comes rust repair, then running/driving, then customizing the interior.
I'm so glad to get back into a Bay Window. I sold my '79 back in 1996 after having it less than a year because it was a crazy fuel injected problem child.
Nope. The previous owner never got it working that way (gave up after cutting massive holes in the nose and floor), and I've already got a 1.8L flat four to go into it.
Let the adventure begin 🤪

I have a ‘70. No fuel injection, but I have had fuel pump issues over the last few years due to crappy aftermarket parts.
Congrats! Are you keeping it a wasserboxer?

Do you watch, KOMBI LIFE, VWLife or OldVolks TV?
And where is the Vanagon guy located?
I watch the latter two. I'll have to check out the first one.
The Vanagon guy is in Vista, CA.
