    I found a single motor magnesium color with no added packs at Detroit Polestar. $2,400 total due at signing, including first month's payment. I chose 3 years/12K miles per year. $388 per month. Total of $12K off with my costco membership. Compare to what you can lease a Volvo XC40 recharge for. This is a killer deal.

      If you live near the Princeton Space you can the best deals! But that Magnesium or Volvo Glacial Silver is one of my favorites and I usually like darker colors.
      Your effective monthly payment of $455/mo is thr best deal, considering they were including the dual motor this month.
      There are better deals on Cadillac Lyriq.

      @@normt430 I certainly could have gotten a better deal if I went with 27 months and 10K miles. I wanted 36 months and 12K. I'm happy overall.

    Disappointing to see protectionism when we all need to have a global approach to electrification!

    I have a 2022 EV6. It is my first EV. I am very happy 😊. I would like the door handles to be changed along with the combined radio/AC touch controls. Of major importance that was missed is that the upcoming EV6 will have true OTA updates for all software. The 2022 and 2023 vehilces only allow OTA for maps which is such a huge miss. I have to again go to the dealership for ICCU software update to prevent the car from dying on the road (this is a federal govt mandated recall)

    just a heads up GM worked with Costco Memberships in the same way to sell Chevy Bolts back 3 years ago. not sure but they may now be doing the same with Blazer EV's (and perhaps other models).

    Where is this vehicle produced? Does it use Chinese batteries and motors? I rented a Polestar at Hertz and thought the driver’s compartment was very cramped due to an excessively wide console. It was not comfortable. Did anyone else have the reaction?

    If China had the same regulatory and law enforcement environment in terms of employment, labor, environmental protection, IP protection, etc, they would find it far harder to compete on that level playing field. So the US could either let companies run wild and get away with anything including child and slave labor, or use tariffs. Sorry but that’s the reality of how dark Chinese companies get.

    • @bullshitbingo2259
      @bullshitbingo2259 Месяц назад

      Nah, not anymore. Chinese EV tech, especially battery and charging tech is class leading. Managers and talents from Western companies want to work for chinese companies to push the industries forward. Environmental protection and awerness is constantly increasing, even though it might be still lower than in the West. Times have changed

      @@bullshitbingo2259 It’s one thing to demonstrate a technology at a show and another to deliver it in a product under warranty. And my comment was about legal and regulatory standards, not tech. They’re doing their best to convince the world that they’re changing on that front but I don’t buy it one bit. They’ll never have the same standards because of the vast cultural differences that dictate compassion.

    • @jeffs6090
      @jeffs6090 Месяц назад +1

      Yes! A 3 year lease now would be perfect. By the end, the majority of automakers will have native NACS and hopefully most charging networks will have NACS plugs at their stations. Give back the vehicle that would then be more or less useless and get into something new.
