I forget the exact year but my first vehicle at 16 years old was a +/- 1990/91(maybe even an 88/89 idk) Dodge Ram conversion van. It was grey with _pink_ interior, lol. It even had pink curtains! The two rear bench seats folded down into a "bed." I bought that because I was in an indie rock band so I got the van and an enclosed trailer to haul our gear for gigs. It was a truly _great_ vehicle that was incredibly reliable. I drove it everywhere. Hard miles too. On top of it being my daily driver, towing a full trailer to all our gigs, I also drove it back and forth from S.E. Mass, (New Bedford/Fairhaven harbor area) out to the Cape (Hyannis/Yarmouth) because my girlfriend at the time lived out there. And we would take that thing on regular trips to Boston, Providence, P-Town, Newport, back to the cape and back to the South Coast. Many days we'd just randomly cruise the back roads of the Cape. It never gave my any issues, only needed regular maintenance. Looking back that van was a central part of some of the best times and memories of my life (I'm almost 40 now). I still dont remember why in the world I sold it. It needed some kind of larger but not outrageous repair _I think._ I let it go for like $850. The guy who bought it did the fix and it was every bit as reliable for him as it was for me. I always regretted it. Outside of that van and the '02 Tahoe I drive now, I never had any luck with vehicles. Seems like every vehicle in between those two had all kinds of major and inevitability fatal flaws. I'm sure the extension came out great. It already looked good here. Can tell it's solid work. Best of luck.
