My. husband and I, who travel to France and Italy now and then, find your gracefulness and slow living beautiful. We love little Max who reminds us of our grandchildren. Oh, and I know how you feel about Christmas during a renovation. I have been there. It's hard to get into the spirit. The lack of control over your home and the noise and cold and intrusion of workmen, even though all of these are necessary, rattles one's nerves. When you were cleaning your beautiful balcony, your shoulders drooped for a small moment as you saw even more debris on your furniture. Oh, I recognized that feeling. This spring, that was me. The roof! I am happy it's getting repaired and hopefully before it gets cold. I liked the chocolate treat and plan on making it.
Oh the roof work is going on nicely. Glad there were no problems underneath the old roof tiles. Menton Christmas Market is calling my name. I miss going there. Your chocolate treat looks so delicious. Your homemade Christmas wreath looks fabulous. I am so encouraged by it, I will make one. No real forest near us but our backyard is partly wooded and we have pine trees, pines cones, some acorns etc. I will collect some and try and make some decorative pieces.
I love your flower arrangement. The red flowers contrast the green very well. So seasonal. I love this time of year. Thank you Matt, Chris, and Aselya for sharing some of your daily activities with us.

🎄I am very familiar with the disruption of the flow of daily life with reconstruction and home improvement! The dust, dirt, rock and noise of men banging every day all day! At some point , you just have had enough so a walk in the wood is the perfect thing. Take a deep breath! It will end and in that end you will have a very new and improved roof! Yes, it is all worth it! Hang in there! Your walk on the roof nearly took my breath away! 😬. Thank you for the nature Christmas crafting. Special thanks for the chocolate bark demo!!!😋yum and so easy! Your time with your son brings such joy to me. I have one son and he is grown with 2 children of his own now. The memories you stir in me make me smile. I also made most of my decor for Christmas from our land. My little buddy helper was always a big part of that. I also hosted a cousins cookie decorating party every year for my son and his cousins and any friends that wanted to come! Sprinkles , Sprinkles and more sprinkles went everywhere but so did the laughter and joy! Merry Christmas to you and your family💕!

I love pine cones with foliage for a natural wreath and decorations for Christmas. I have spray painted some cones white and place them under the Christmas tree. Your easy melted chocolate recipe is going to be my dessert for my family this season. ❤🌲🎅🍫
