Taeyong actually did that sliding down choreo in Make a Wish in every performances even dance practices. It's basically part of the choreo.

There have been producers in the industry that admitted that many kpop companies approached them asking for a song similar to what Boss sounds. But nobody, nobody has been able to recreate the impact this one did. It’s not easy for even some of the best people in the industry to recapture the magic Boss did, it’s one of a kind. SM producers, bro. can’t beat them.
I remember when the teaser of Baby don't stop came out, I was still new to NCT but fully aware of what Ten and Taeyong are capable of.....I kinda lost it when I saw their teaser pictures and videos.

I got into NCT after seeing Super M in Chicago in 2019. Ten and Taeyong did Baby Don't Stop and I didn't move the whole performance, I was entranced! So when you said the power they hold, yes, it's real! I hope at some point you'll watch dance practices because there's pretty much one for every kpop song and it's great for seeing the full choreo. Love your reactions!

The beauty of NCT 2020 was that you had 23 guys with different training times, different concepts and preferences, all working in sub-units as if they worked together every single day. You can also tell that from the fact that some of them cover other people's parts and it's simply perfect.
you're right! BOSS gives you ukrainian vibes because the boys actually went to Ukraine to film it! It's one of my favourite mvs in terms of cinematography and it's beautifully shot, displaying all the architecture

Xiaojun is the reason why Make A Wish is palatable and popular, his parts are still talked about till this day plus he was the most talked about member during this era. lol the power of him is insane, without him the song would be questionable to say the least.

track videos are basically like teasers for the album. they are short mv like videos for bsides that don't even have the full song in it, misfit for example is actually 3:35min long. nct does those quite a lot so they are definitely nice ways to check out bsides but make sure to listen to the full tracks afterwards ^^
The Resonance era was the first time we met Sungchan, meaning that AWESOME rap verse he gave us in Misfit was the first ever Sungchan rap verse we got (with 90's Love being a close 2nd since they came out around the same time). That kid's talent is INSANE, I hope they give him a fixed unit soon

Nct, all units, have driven their sound into my soul with a vengeance...and created such a stir in Kpop like no other 4th generation group, SM crafted these units using each member's strong points to the fullest..

TEN and his titties, yes, he is my ult bias in Nct and SuperM. He is beautiful. His voice is angelic. And in "Baby Don't Stop", a signature song for the Ten and Taeyong, it
has become an iconic performance for these two....
At the SuperM tour through the States, each SuperM member had a solo stage throughout the concert...and when the first few chords of "Baby Don't Stop" started...the arenas went berserk...EVERYONE SANG ALONG as Ten and Taeyong took the stage...watching those different fancams made me so excited and giddy...these 2 killed it each time. Amazing! "Baby Don't Stop" wasn't meant to be be well synchronized in the dance, they were doing their moves slightly as themselves, and it is just as it is...and very, VERY enticing to watch their chemistry on stage.. Damn if this song didn't bring down the house at the US concerts for SuperM, they were magical to watch...love it.
And yes, Johnny, I WANT TO KNOW HIM. I WANT TO KNOW HIM! He is a tall drink of water and gorgeous...he is my wrecker along with Jaehyun, Mr. Runway Model, and Lucas, Mr. Disrespectful...they are both in 3rd for wreckers. But Ten being my ult bias...Taeyong is a sexy beast to be reckoned with..AAAHHH. Mark Lee too...Mark has made a statement as a rapper, and he is so well loved for his style, and his popularity has been soaring for the past couple years...He knows he's the s*,t right now, and he excites me in every mv out there.

Boss MV is basically the story of the Cold War, so each member represents a country that was present in that war. They started as friend-enemies, you can see how they are fighting with each other behind their backs, but they are friends on the surface. At the end they all sit together in a very unguarded position, symbolizing that they left all the fights and worked together. Same as the real ending of the cold war.
I don't know if you were planning on doing any other guides, but there is a guide for Sungchan and Shotoro since they aren't in any fixed sub-units.

I think the only other rapper duo who has the same Synergy as Tae and Mark (in my opinion) is I.M and Jooheon from Monsta X. Especially if you watch them live they are soooooo good together. I love the diversity U can bring because it is a rotational unit and they can bring in any members they want.

I agree with you because Taeyong and Mark are my favorite rap duo. I highly suggest the song Mad City which is a Taeyong and Mark song. TY wrote it about all the hate and stuff he was getting and what he was going through, but the two of them kill it. There isn’t a MV, but watching a lyric video and then the live stage is so worth it because you can see and feel the emotion in them especially TY. It goes hard and really shows their dynamic duo. Also if you want to see Taeyong sing more he has a song called Long Flight which he also wrote and produced and it has an MV, but he sings and raps in it. NCT Track videos are teasers of what the b-side songs on the album will sound like. so the track video for Misfit is not the entire song but a portion of it. similar to what stray kids does with their "unveil tracks"

You're so right about dance synchronisation! It isn't easy at all, especially because different people hear the same beat slightly differently so with quick movement like that it is really important to be aware of your partner or fellow dancers, to try and move 'as one'. Also the intricacies of that specific sequence in Baby Don't Stop are impressive because they're sort of combining tutting, popping and other styles together... the dynamics of the dance shift a lot between fluid movement and more staccato/hitting movement. It's not easy to nail those textural changes while also singing and thinking about facial expressions/overall performance presence. Taeyong and Ten are very skilled... but we already knew that haha

100% agree that Mark Lee and Taeyong being the best duo of their generation. Their vocal temperatures are different but they don't stop that from harmonizing and flowing off each other's raps easily. Which takes a lot of talent and a good relationship.
My brain also instantly thought of TOP and GDragon though when you said name a duo that is as good as them. Which they have the same sort of story where they have two very different vocal tones. Also Dreamcatcher's Dami and Gahyeon have the same sort of duo though their raps are usually one after the other instead of interwoven.
(Also like when Mark and Taeyong interact in SuperM songs during their raps it makes my life complete.)
