Just a thought and suggestion, if you’re open to them that is. 😉 I absolutely LOVE your videos and your honesty and personality. Could you extend your videos just a bit and show us the results for second, third, fourth day hair using the products you try in your videos? I love seeing your first day results, but for me and probably others too, a product has to be able to hold up over several days with minimal refreshing to be worth it. Lol Thanks.

Horsetail is your friend. Don’t do capsules. Get the tea at your local health food store or go out and source your own (dry it, tied in bunches and hung upside down, and then add a pinch of the “leaves” to your favorite tea). I’m 63, my hair is almost as thick as hers, and I’m an ice hockey goalie. Hang in there!

Will have to try. I use shea moisture gel souffle.......seems similar and way cheaper. Didnt think it would work on thin wavy hair like yours.

I have to ask- I’ll be 77 years old next month and I have hair like yours. I’d love to wear my hair au- natural but not sure if it would be appropriate for my age. What do you think. Also, I’ve used Aveda for over ten years and girl you get what you pay for.😉

The rules have changed, we can wear white after Labor Day, when we turn 50 we don’t have to automatically cut our hair, and at 77 you can have whatever hairstyle you want! I think as long as it’s flattering it’s all good. And I mean that. And yes, this Aveda is amazing!!! 🥰🥰🥰

I did not know you’re supposed to put the clips in your hair later! 😮
Well, it’s what I’m doing and I have the best results that way. And someone commented that we are supposed to wait. I love those clips!!! I get better curl formation by waiting and then all the volume by letting it finish drying with the clips in.
I’m loving them but the curl cream I have to use less because my hair looks wet sometimes because it will grab moisture from the environment. I live in south Florida where humidity is at 100% all year long.

It has a weird scent. Almost medicinal, it’s not pleasant but I don’t smell it after I’m using it.
The products are sealed, but maybe they have one open somewhere? Since it’s also an Aveda Salon?
Is there a chance of protein overload with these products?
Great question! No, you will not get a protein overload. These were intended for daily use. Protein conditioners and treatments have a more concentrated amount of protein which is why you only use those once a week (or less).

What was the real time for styling your hair?
For putting in the products and diffusing, it was 23 minutes. Then I air dried for 45 minutes. And the finish took 3 minutes.
