Hi, i have the same model of jetta, i dont have this kind of light because i dont know if the dust cap fit well after install the H7's, do you have any problem with that? i have the same question about the high lights, because the dust cap is diferent. thank you for your answers!
Actually you can use the oem clip, wire facing down, and always put dust cap on. If cap doesn't fit it probably has too big of a fan and those go out quick
Look in the headlight housing with the lights off as you install them.

Anyone have electrical problems after? My car seems to hate LED conversions. Tried my DRLs and would have my drivers side running lights randomly fail and would stay off unless i left the car off for about a hour.

All these vids never say if they put dust cover back on your bulbs will only last a few weeks, if you don't put it back on your headlight will be filled with water condensation in about 4 days... ruining it, LEDs look cool but they aren't up to snuff yet

@@mronemanband1Actually it's ok to put the dust cover back on, because these LED bulbs are built-in temperature control system. But air flow to cool LEDs down is better for LED lights lifespan. Usually, some customers drill a hole on the dust cover, which could not allow moisture in, and for better heat dissipation.

Will these bulbs blind oncoming traffic? I have LED H7 bulbs on my jetta right now and they are extremely bright because I have reflector headlights. I am switching over to a projection headlight assembly, I was hoping it wouldn't be extremely bright to blind oncoming traffic. thanks
There are no any error codes showing up on the dashboard. You no need to purchase other load resistors

So these are for a "stock housing" headlights? What about for an aftermarket housing?
Yes, these are for a "stock housing" headlights. About the aftermarket housing, you need to check the bulb size. If it is the same bulb size as "stock housing", these LED bulbs will fit. If not, you need to buy the correct bulb size to fit for it.

Which of your led h7 works on a 2013 Benz C250? Cause on your site none of them have the built in retainer clip like this one.

It isn't necessary to put the cover back on. Leaving off the cover is good for heat dissipation

@@albertabreu8 We checked the oem daytime running light is LED already. So, you need to fix the oem led daytime running light, right? At present, we don't have LED lights to replace OEM LED daytime running lights. We suggest you contact your dealer for help.

We don't have a DIY video for the DRL. For 2016 Jetta, if the original DRL is a halogen bulb, we have LED bulb to replace it directly.
If the factory DRL is LED already, these after-market LED bulbs do not fit.

But for VW models, if the bulb size is H7, usually it comes with a retainer holder, which requires adapter if installing these LEDs. Could you take photos of your factory high beam bulbs and plug to send us for a look? We'll check if we have compatible LED bulbs for your 2014 Jetta Sedan.

So how does the dustcap fit with the extra wiring? And can you put it on at all considering most LED lights need an air outlet due to the heat they process.

This LED bulb is built-in temperature-control system, which keeps LED bulbs work stably in a proper tempertaure. So you can put the dust cap on.
Definitely, it's better for heat-dissipation if you leave off the dust cap.

@@bigpapifan26 I have a 2016 Jetta so the housing is reflectors, not projectors. The Lasfit point up a little higher than stock and I can't figure out how to tilt the housing down. I think it's ok and doesn't blind oncoming drivers (I haven't been flashed by others) because from the driver's seat, I see that the left side of each bulb is lower than and the right side is higher; therefore the driver's bulb is only pointed higher between the headlights, the passenger's bulb is pointed higher along the sidewalk. ruclips.net/video/AjoISKnmMzk/видео.html
This video would of helped before I bought mines lol !... I bought LED H7 bulbs and they did not fit .. bought an “adapter “and the adapter was still loose and didn’t lock it .. I quit haha 😒😒

Why LEDs over Hids?
Ive changed a lot of bulbs on a lot of different vehicles, and these are by far the stupidest design, VE always has to make things difficult!
Some models of VW, Hyundai & Kia deigned such special retainer adaptere for H7 bulb size.

I got mine today in the mail. Install took 10 minutes. Dust cap fits back on fine.

What's the year of your VW Jetta? We carry custom H7 LED bulbs for this retainer adapter.
You should NOT do this as you need a new headlight unit with PROJECTORS. That will allow you to properly aim the bulb and have a nice cut-off pattern. Otherwise, with factor halogen reflective headlights this will shatter the light all over and BLIND other drivers, give you no better light pattern, and is just a bad idea. DO IT RIGHT.
Not legal for street or Highway use in 50 States.
