it's really beautiful on the outside but
can't they just make a super quiet car? Other reviews say it's very noisy on the highway. is the fake engine sound designed to cover that up

Who says it's noisy on the highway? I have a 24 awd limited, the ride is quiet and smooth at 85 mph.

Just took a 2024 Ioniq 6 Limited AWD home 2 days ago and I had a 30 mile drive to work, mostly highway (75-85 mph) and I have to agree with @MikeMPharmaCyclist. I didn’t really notice road noise. And the ‘fake engine’ sound you hear is a setting and can be turned off. It’s kinda cool as a novelty but I don’t need it with every day driving.

Tüm elektrikli araçlar böyle benim bildiğim. Bende de corsa-e var. O da aynı. 30’dan sonra hiç çıkmıyor sesi, bu ses yayaları vs uyarmak için çıkarttırılan bir ses.
