I have had multiple ENT / head & neck examinations over the years and they have never been this thorough. I have subsequently been the the 2 week wait supected cancer system under the NHS ... I've had multiple misdiagnosed head and neck problems due to the missed out parts of this supposed "normal / standardised" physical examination.
@ 2:50 - so the point of that part of the examination is to make sure you CANNOT feel any of the lymph nodes or thyroid glands, right? If you do feel something like a lump, that's a red flag? Or are there certain ones you should be able to feel and others you shouldn't?
If you are going to incorporate cranial nerve exam in to this, consider all the lower cranial nerves so include glossopharyngeal, hypoglossal and vagus. Test, gag, say ahh (voice) look at soft palate, look at tongue movements for fasciculation and wasting and then ur done. Lower cranial nerves tested.
This is very interesting I'm going in for one of these medical procedures it's good to know that you can find almost anything on RUclips and this is the best one yet only because I had neck surgery 10 years ago and it the doctors messed it up hi to have trimmers terrible when I have no feeling in my hands thanks for the video
I too find this vid to be the thing to aid in my sleeping. Not saying its boring or anything. I am learning from it. Even learned about why i had neck pains. Was the fact i was putting my head on the pillow and not my neck. I have a neck pillow now. So i get even better rest! ^.^ Btw i too love the background muisc. What is it?
It's been 9 years. I come to this video once in awhile to admire the lady's beautiness. Of course she would have been 31 years old now. But it doesn't deny the fact that she's a gorgeous woman.
