In Indonesia, we call it "telor asin" or salted egg. It's sooo good with some Indonesian trasitional soup like "soto ayam" or "rawon". Or just simply eat it with warm rice & little bit sweet soy sauce 🤤 Or just eat it from its shell like that as a snack haha. By the way, miss Vivian looks very georgeous with this outfit, i'm in love 😍
@Saltz Hill uhm I dont really understand what you mean with " Western, ME, African, Japan n other continents= incomparable" Are you saying that their foods isnt as great as Southeast Asian, Indian, and Chinese food? ^^
Same with us filipinos, duck eggs have different ways on how we cook it in our country yet we open it the same way as her. • The Famous BALUT - Balut is actually duck egg with a duck embryo on it, usually best dipped with Salt or Vinegar. • Balut Penoy - Balut penoy is an alternate version of the Balut but without duck embryo, just boiled duck egg (kinda bit same with how Vivian cooked her duck eggs) but it’s kinda have a bit solid texture than it being a bit soft. • Itlog na pula (Red Egg which usually appears in Purple color) - We don’t usually cook this in our homes, it’s very similar to how chinese cook their century egg but the texture is similar to this video, sometimes a bit oily or creamy yolk texture which is my favorite. It was cooked and boiled using soil and salt, you won’t actually use anything to flavor it up because Itlog na Pula already has a salty flavor into it.
I eat this all the time as well! It's the best hangover food 🤣 It's simple and easy to digest when I'm sick or don't feel well. I'll never get tired of congee.
The inspiring thing about Chinese is that they eat everything they see.. like for example even if it's a snake, duck, turtle, bat I'm actually impressed tbh I guess china is the big best country with no fear
the egg she's eating is salted ones in vietnam, we sometimes we duck eggs with the baby inside (like barely grown) and sometimes without the baby, I don't eat the first one (with the baby) but my mum still does. we normally boil it and eat it with salt and pepper (muối tiêu), we eat it with practically anything, congee, rice anything
In Indonesia we call it "telor asin" telor = egg and asin = salt,we call it that i think it because the taste of is savory and the yolk is kind of bitter, and sometimes we use it on maybe traditional traditional dishes for example opor(like chicken sup, that we it in eid Mubarak) or in gepuk (meat that cut into thin slices or tear it down with your hands) and much more
I love duck eggs, I used to have ducks and my brother and I would eat the eggs, my parents are unfortunately allergic to them but they're so delicious 😋
its quite good, in my country its called salted egg and yeah there is similar food like that in my country but dont eat it too much, based on my experience there are a lot of people got allergy from it and make them got some rash, i recommend to eat it with warm rice
I saw this and immediately went and bought some and made it with congee with mustard pickles and sausage as toppings. It changed my life. No need to add stock or salt with congee with the egg because it flavours the whole bowl
In the Philippines we make salted egg from duck eggs. The color of the shell will turn red because of the food color. Duck eggs are cured in mud and salt. It tastes so good with sardines and tomatoes.
it's rare to find chicken salted eggs sold in the market as duck eggs are the preferred one's use because it has microscopic holes that easily aborbs the salt in thr brine when cured. Chicken eggs however are used when you make it at home from the scratch.

How do you manage to eat that big of a scoop of duck egg? It is so salty I can only manage to eat a small piece at a time.
It really depends, some are really salty and some are not. But I agree most ones are too salty to eat that way lol
Are these pre cooked or raw!
Raw? If it was raw it would be runny just like a chicken egg
Yummmm...salted duck egg 🥰🥰🥰
Itlog na maalat Philippines have those too but they are dyed in red so delicious
most of us filipinos call it Itlog na Pula instead of itlog na maalat because these eggs are always associated with red dye.

My Filipino grandparents mixes it w diced tomatoes & makes kinda like a salsa type thing w it & eats it w plain white rice. Pretty good that way too 🤤
don't know why i used to hate it when i was young but after knowing it's basically the same thing as salted egg I LOVE IT
Why don’t you peel them? Just curious? Is it just a culture thing? Or is there a difference in taste if you peel them?
I love the Filipino one in Philippine tomatoes with salt. Also thanks.
In malaysia we use this to make ayam telur masin
